“Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

I’ve volunteered at the humane society before and have also worked on a game reserve. Received a bachelor’s in biology and worked for a vet clinic for 2 years, so your pet will get all the care and love it needs and much more. I’ll make sure your pet is comfortable and happy. I have a dog park within a few miles of my apartment complex so your pup will have plenty of space to run and play. While at your home I’ll care for your pet as my own and continue to provide training if need be. If your pet is crate trained I have no problem crating. If pet on medication, I’m very capable to give pets meds to both cats and dogs.

About: Grew up with dogs and cats my whole life. Started pet and house sitting in my early teen years for dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as cats, fish and turtles. Additionally, I have a degree in animal and dairy science and spent half a year as a veterinary assistant at a clinic. I work a full- time job that is typically 8am-4:30pm with some earlier mornings and nights as needed. But schedule can be somewhat flexible to fit your needs! I’d love to care for whatever your pet needs, walking, playing, feeding or just spend some time with them. About: Although new to Rover as a sitter, we've used Rover frequently for our boys. I've had pets (cats, dogs, fish) ever since I was 14. I don't have special certs but have done puppy classes and have successfully trained our dogs since! One being a Shiba Inu if you know how stubborn they are 😉. I currently have two bernese mountain dogs and love furry friends from small to extra large! I've done drop ins and in home in the past. Im currently mostly a SAHM! I am a RN but only work 16hrs a month. I will have ample time to be at home with all pets. I have a fenced yard (6ft chain linked) and two neutered boys to keep your pets company. I can also always go for walks, fill a small kiddie pool for the dogs to play in, and whatever else your pup enjoys! I can crate as well if need be and tons of pictures can and will always be sent.

The pups were comfortable to walk away from us with her which says a lot. She cleared the hike in advance and kept in touch with us. About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life and I've had my first (adult life) dog for three and a half year. Wila Rose is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. About a year and a half ago we added another rescue, Buckley Quinn. He is a smart but goofy boy. They both go backpacking with us and we do a lot of hiking on our local public land areas. We enjoy playing around in our yard with our limited dog agility set and learning new tricks. We occasionally go swimming but love jumping and exploring new water areas and hiking trails. Wila and Buckley are a huge part of my life. We enjoy hiking, being outdoor, and traveling as much as possible. We do quite a but of training included but not limited to: agility, scent training, shed training, and just some fun party tricks. I have owned multiple dogs throughout my life and many other types of animals. I love to be active and outdoors. I have a big open back yard for your dog to run around in. I also am knowledgeable with dogs that have separation anxiety.Leaving you're pet with me is like leaving your pet at a Royal Castle for animals. I promise I will love and spoil your baby. I currently only work as a photographer so I have an open and adjustable schedule. I get to make my own schedule and work with my clients. I have a big yard for your dog to play in. I also have a dog that love to play and tire each other out. I have two large crates if dogs need to be crated.
About: I have a big heart for all animals. You can count on your dog/cat provided with genuine care and attention. Since starting Rover, I have come in contact with all types of furry friends, all of them being great experiences. Whether your fur baby likes long walks, quick runs, or is a couch potato, I will fit to all of the needs and wants. I would love nothing more than to be able to help another during a busy week/weekend, or just a busy life. When it comes to availability, I work very well on a schedule - as well as being able to have flexibility. I am off every weekend and Monday, with lots of random days off here and there. I can also make time before or after work. I can promise your fur babies will be treated with more than enough attention, love and respect. I am a part time worker in Portage, Wi. I work (typically) Tuesday - Friday but take quite a bit of work off, when given the opportunity, to spend time at home with my toddler. We are in the works of getting a fence around our yard and hope to have once come fall of 2025. My pets are my children. They are spoiled and loved deeply. We have a long yard leash that our puppy uses as well as constant supervision when outdoors.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old and have a passion for giving them the best life! I will treat your pet as my own, making sure they are well taken care of and happy. I'm always ready and willing to go for walks, give them approved treats, lots of play time and willing to give them medicines if needed as well! I am available most of the time!! I can be available for early morning walks, afternoon potty breaks, or weekend runs around the block! Pets are a huge priority in my life and I will make your pet one of my biggest priorities. I currently have three rescue dogs and one rescue cat. I understand that every pet is different in their comfort level with humans. I will work with your pet, at their comfort level, to ensure we create a positive and safe relationship. If possible, I'd be happy to set up play dates with other dogs as well! Leashes and harnesses are what I use for my pets, but I'm open to walking your pet how they walk best.

About: I have helped my family take care of our pets almost my whole life! Since moving out I’ve had my own pets (cats and dogs). I understand the importance of giving your pet attention while you’re gone, since they could be stressed with the change in routine! I’m a farm girl at heart! I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, sheep, ducks, chickens, cows, pigs, rats, hamsters….you name it! I work from home so I’m available to spend time with your pets throughout the day! As long as I have access to Wi-Fi I can work from anywhere! I am comfortable with crate training if your pet needs it. I follow direction very well so just leave me with a detailed note on how things run and I’ll keep it as consistent as possible for your pet!

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. My Dad went to school to be a Veterinarian, so we have always been around different animals. I have two cats at home, and recently just lost my beloved dog, Lexi! I currently work as a flight instructor so my schedule is very flexible! I typically start later in the day or early in the morning. Plenty of time to help out!! I can walk, feed, clean-up after any pets. I have no preference, little, big, cats and dogs. I am able to understand pets all have very special needs and want to fulfill those.

“Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

About: Hey everyone I’m Emma! I grew up on a farm and have worked with so many different animals species. I love working with dogs and can do lots of different training exercises with your dogs. I have worked with both large and small dogs, and dogs of all ages. I used to foster dogs, and train them up for their forever homes! I work at the USDA Mondays through Friday 8am -4:30 pm. Most weekends I will be at home all day. I currently have no pets of my own, so your pet will be my full attention! I live out on a farm, so there is a large yard for you pets to run around. I have a kennel for smaller dogs and a puppy play pen already from fostering as well as basic food dishes, toys, treats, etc.

About: I’ve been an animal lover and care taker as long as I can remember. I grew up in the country and was always finding stray animals that needed nursed back to health. I have a very flexible schedule right now. Can do any time of day, any day of the week. I am extremely active and love playing and walking with animals.
