“Erika is an angel! First of all she agreed to care for our puppy 2 days after being spayed. Then our puppy did not do well and became ill with diarrhea and vomiting. She kept in close contact with us and continued to care for her. She had to make special food for our pup because of her diarrhea. Erika is just the sweetest person you will meet and she even washed all of the items in her kennel. We can not say enough positive things about her - if you need an angel to take care of your dog baby consider Erika!”

After an initial meet and greet, we felt very comfortable with Jeff and Ember loved his fenced in yard. We liked the photo and written updates we received while vacationing. Grumpy cats (my personal favorite- I love a challenge!), playful kittens, Velcro cats, they’re all so fun to interact with. About: I’ve taken care of many types of different animals for as long as I can remember. Starting on my family’s hobby farm. We had many kinds of birds, rabbits, and dogs. Then when older I studied animal science and everyone I knew always brought their pets to me to take care of. About: Please read the entire profile. I did grow up with a Dalmatian dog. My dad was a firefighter, and came home with Pepper Christmas morning. My sister had a mini goldendoodle. I would stop daily after work around 3:45pm to play and take walks. I took a separation package from my employer 5/1/25 and now would like to offer walks, daycare, drop in visits and boarding . With boarding, For larger dogs, they WILL be crated at night. Your dog will be crated when I play pickleball in the mornings. I do have a crate(s). Please note if sending a request there may be a delay in responding due to pickleball between 9:30 - 12:30 approximate times. I currently have two dog walking appointments from 11:45am -1:45pm Monday-Thursday. Having retired 5/1/25, I have the time to provide loving care, playtime and walks with your pet. About: Hello! I've been taking care of pets every since my professors at my university trusted me to dog-sit in their homes. I've always had a love of animals. As a child I spent most of my free time volunteering at my local animal shelter by walking dogs to give them a break and fresh air or training them to help them be more likely to be adopted. As an adult I've worked as a zookeeper (my all-time favorite animal to care for are probably lemurs) and as a high school biology teacher. I've normally utilized word of mouth to grow my pet-sitting business, but since I've recently moved to a smaller town, I decided to test out Rover. About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs with unique needs, including reactivity and behavioral challenges. I rescued my Australian Cattle Dog when she was three years old and have spent years training her and learning how to safely and compassionately manage reactivity around other animals and, at times, children. About: My family and I had a dog of our own for about 13 years during my childhood, allowing me to gain experience in feeding, training, and walking dogs. Now that she has sadly passed away, I would love to give other pets the same love I am no longer able to give to my own pet. I currently work part-time and have plenty of time to smother your pets with my love! Late mornings and early afternoons are the times that typically work best for me, but I am flexible and willing to try anything! I will only allow pets that are fine being outside because my house does not allow pets indoors. There is still so many breeds of both dogs and cats that I would love to be able to take care of. I am currently working part-time at a pet boarding/ daycare facility and still going to school. About: I grew up around cats and have been living with dogs since I was 20. My first experience with dogs was my roommates/bestfriends Rottweiler. I knew the dogvtill the day he died. I got my first dog when I was around 30, a Saint Bernard. He pasted away July 2021, he was my best buddy. He suffered from cancer his last months and needed lots of special care. I have no problems caring for senior dogs, big dogs, active dogs, lazy dogs or puppies! I have experience managing multiple large breed dogs at the same time. I currently am unemployed as I just moved to Bremerton(to be with my girlfriend) a few weeks ago. I love dogs, they are my favorite. I treat dogs with respect and kindness. She kept in close contact with us and continued to care for her. She had to make special food for our pup because of her diarrhea. About: I have had horses and dogs along with all sorts of animals my whole life. I have assisted with litters of puppies and worked years in a veterinary clinic. My animals are my family and I will care for yours in the same way! I work Monday through Friday 8-5 and am off on the weekends I would be available after work and on the weekends. If that works let me know! I also take my small dog to work with me and my springer goes to daycare next to my work. I have a large fenced in backyard! Pets are like family in my home!! They are allowed on furniture! I have many years of experience from 6 pounds to 150 pound Great Danes.
About: I've taken care of animals of all different species and sizes throughout my life, I've always found a deeper connection with animals, and the more I care for them, the more I see that. For Dogs, I can get along with most, although I am admittedly spooked by bigger or more aggressive dogs (Cane Corso's for reference). And as for cat's, I'm always willing to take carr of another feline friend, my closest animal companions in life have been cats! I can respect a cats boundaries very well. Notes: For dogs with Clicker training, I do own a clicker. I cannot allow other cats in my home, as one of my cats is not friendly with others. I'm typically up very early to feed my cat and spend whatever free time I have giving him attention and love while I relax. I am currently unemployed, so I can tend to pets around the clock! My yard is not fenced, I can keep a dog close if need be. I am more than willing to take pets on walks to the park, or outdoors in general. I can adapt to most any animals schedule pretty easily. My house is pretty large, so most animals will have plenty of space to roam and get comfy, and I can make accommodations for any special pet gear needed. List of tasks or care instructions would be highly appreciated, and would help me stick to a given schedule.
