“Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them. “Our 4 month old Luna stayed at Ballby's house for the weekend and we couldn't have been happier with the service. The hosts was willing to pick Luna up from daycare on Friday evening, they were very gracious about the "accidents" that our pup had on her first night, and we received photo updates throughout the weekend. Luna had so much fun playing with Ballby that she came home Sunday and passed out until the next morning. We will definitely recommend this host.”

While we are not ready to own a dog yet, my kids and I would love to take yours for the weekend! We have a backyard and a large park close by for getting outside so your dog will get plenty of outdoor time, play, and exercise. You can expect lots of interaction, attention, and a warm family environment where your pet will feel right at home. I work Monday through Friday but have plenty of time on evenings and weekends for interaction and exercise with your dog. Your dog can expect 2-3 walks a day, being outside as much as possible and lots of interaction from our kids when staying with us. We have a single family home with an un-fenced backyard, however your dog will never be left unsupervised outside. Your dog will receive the same care as if it were ours.

About: We are a family looking to host short term visits and love on puppies so my kids can experience taking care of dogs without the longterm commitment. “Please read! I will be there first to admit I was skeptical of using Rover. I carefully scanned through profiles of those willing to watch the two dogs we have, a Great Dane and a boxer. Cilyr was so much more than we could have asked for! She and I agreed having a meet and greet prior was a great choice to make sure the dogs would have an easier transition. Cilyr went to every length to ensure she had asked questions we may not have thought of: do the dogs have allergies? Require specific routines? But I was really blown away when she brought to my attention that she does not have a truck large enough for our Great Dane in the event he would need to get to a vet emergently however, she has already arranged with a friend and neighbor that she could borrow theirs should an emergency arise. I knew at that moment She was that absolutely perfect choice to watch our dogs. This was not just a” side gig” for her, she genuinely cares so much for animals and helping others! When I brought the boys back for their week long stay they took about a day and a half to fully adjust. I know this because Cilyr went above and beyond to make sure I knew the boys were doing well and sent pictures! It was so heartwarming to get those little messages and pictures and know our boys were in great hands. Through those pictures you could see our dogs easing into their day and feeling safe and loved. Before we had even returned from our vacation we had discussed that we will hands down take our dogs back to her any time we need to leave them.
