Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

About: Finishing up my Navy career as a Military Working Dog Handler. I did this for 5 years and loved training the dogs. I currently work from home which allows me more time for taking care of your pets! I have experience with all types of dogs along with emergency care training and basic medical needs. Any questions or special requests don’t hesitate to ask! I currently work from home so my schedule has become quite flexible. I am available most days and times. If you ever need to make changes I am almost always able to accommodate. On nice days I like to sit outside with the dog(s) while they run around and enjoy some sun. We have a 5 acre lot but live on a 20 acre lot that we have total access to.

About: Although new to Rover as a sitter, we've used Rover frequently for our boys. I've had pets (cats, dogs, fish) ever since I was 14. I don't have special certs but have done puppy classes and have successfully trained our dogs since! One being a Shiba Inu if you know how stubborn they are 😉. I had a beloved toy poodle named Seven for 15 years, who was truly the best dog and a cherished member of our family. I also can give any puppers bath if need be. I also have experience with cats and many other small animals. I am free all week as I stay home with my 4 kiddos. About: I have a big heart for all animals. You can count on your dog/cat provided with genuine care and attention. Since starting Rover, I have come in contact with all types of furry friends, all of them being great experiences. Whether your fur baby likes long walks, quick runs, or is a couch potato, I will fit to all of the needs and wants. I would love nothing more than to be able to help another during a busy week/weekend, or just a busy life. When it comes to availability, I work very well on a schedule - as well as being able to have flexibility. I am off every weekend and Monday, with lots of random days off here and there. I can also make time before or after work. I can promise your fur babies will be treated with more than enough attention, love and respect. I am a part time worker in Portage, Wi. I work (typically) Tuesday - Friday but take quite a bit of work off, when given the opportunity, to spend time at home with my toddler. We are in the works of getting a fence around our yard and hope to have once come fall of 2025. My pets are my children. They are spoiled and loved deeply. We have a long yard leash that our puppy uses as well as constant supervision when outdoors.

It was so refreshing to know they were so well cared for while we were away- we have already rebooked them for our next trip!”

“Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

“I was very nervous to leave my dog Bailey. 1. I had never left her and 2.She had a small issue with her paw just before my vacation. When informing him about the issues and the shedding problem , there were no hesitations on what needs to be done to keep up with the grooming. You should have no worries when you hire this person. The communication, the pictures,the condition of my dogand the level of care were outstanding. I was very lucky to find somebody on short notice and appreciate the sensitivity and kindness. While I can't stay overnight at your house at this time, I'm willing to have your pets stay here with me. If you have like a lizard, bird, or caged pet, any day of the week will work for me but if you have more of a high matience pet, such as a dog, I just have 4 days available because those are the days when I will have the help of my teenagers (who also really animals and very responsible -- of course, I will be the main caretaker but with my teens around, this ensures even better care!)
