“Amber was amazing! Her and her family helped take great care of my 3 month old pup for a few days while we were in the process of moving. She was super accommodating and helpful, taking him in just hours after us contacting her very last minute while stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. Taking in his “puppy shenanigans” and all like he was one of her own. Amber made sure to keep me updated about how his was doing helping to ease my mind of having him away from home for the first time. Sending me pictures/videos and messages about how his day was going. She also took the time to make sure that my pup was comfortable and entertained. Taking him on walks and being able to run around and play in the yard. Letting him go at his own pace and doing what made him feel safe when he didn’t like the rain or was was scared by her dog at first (he wasn’t the biggest one around anymore and couldn’t terrorize/annoy every living thing like he normally likes to do). She even went the extra mile to wash his bed after an accident over night and have him and all of his stuff packed up nicely and ready to go for me when I got there. My little boy loved playing with her and her family. And having the other dogs around for him to interact with was a bonus. When I tell you he was so excited when he first met them that I didn’t even get a second look over the shoulder or a goodbye before he took off to play with one of the kids ? (I’m still emotionally processing his betrayal ?). I could not recommend Amber enough! Your pet will be greatly taken care of (Not to mention worn out….he’s been napping since the moment we put him in the car) and all of your worries will fade the moment you get there.”

About: I have had animals all my life. We currently have our own little 10 acre hobby farm type deal going on and it’s a blast. We have walking trails through out our land to go on walks. My daughter and I love all animals and she would love to join me for walks-check in- or over nights when allowed. I’m a stay at home mom with a fairly open schedule. “Emily accommodated us when our plans had to change suddenly and we needed someone to watch our pups for several hours. Her directions were great and she greeted us right away with a smile. The pups were comfortable to walk away from us with her which says a lot. She cleared the hike in advance and kept in touch with us. The boys were happy and mellow when we met to pick them and she was very understanding about their sometimes car sickness. We’d definitely recommend her as she was great with our pups and they can sometimes be a handful.”

About: Although new to Rover as a sitter, we've used Rover frequently for our boys. I've had pets (cats, dogs, fish) ever since I was 14. I don't have special certs but have done puppy classes and have successfully trained our dogs since! One being a Shiba Inu if you know how stubborn they are 😉. I currently have two bernese mountain dogs and love furry friends from small to extra large! I've done drop ins and in home in the past. Im currently mostly a SAHM! I was in the 4h dog obedience project, did rally obedience, showmanship, did cgc and therapy dog training, dog agility, and I’m working at a doggie daycare and boarding facility now have been there for almost 8 years. I do work full time. But my husband works from home and agreed to help me out. So there will always be somebody at the house to watch over your pet. About: I've taken care of dogs and all sorts of pets while growing up on a farm. I've also been both an overnight house sitter and dog groomer for a professional dog breeder. About: I have worked in the animal field for a long time and have experience handling every type of dog from aggressive dogs to seniors. I also have experience in giving many medications including shots. I also have experience doing grooming task such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, expressing anal glands and of corse bathing dogs! I generally work 7-1 at a boarding facility but I am very flexible with my schedule and make sure that your animal is getting the care it needs. I am a reliable person who is organized and prioritize the dogs welfare and try my best to create a good environment with the dogs so they feel safe and happy. I currently work a full time job at a boarding facility in the area. I either work 7-2 or 2-9 so I am very flexible about being at peoples houses and caring for the dog. I treat every dog with care and try to make them as comfortable as possible. I want to keep the animal’s anxiety as low as possible!
