About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

Provided a calm environment to welcome a puppy who has been through a lot in her short life. When we got home, she acted normal. With our previous dogs we boarded at kennels but felt the need to try something different with a puppy that spent most of her life at a shelter. Our dogs would be wiped out when they came back home. So far not seeing any of that from her stay with Kaitlyn.”

She was asked to attend the wedding and help us with our Great Dane Molli who was part of the wedding party. About: Pets have been a part of my life since I was five years old. About: I have taken care of dogs since a very young age.. I am experienced with dogs I’ve worked with dogs in the past as well as worked at doggy daycares/vets in the past. My schedule is relatively open so even if you need someone to come and walk the dog a couple times a day I can do that! “Gracie had an amazing stay with Joanne (& her family!) I enjoyed the communications and pictures during Gracie’s time in their home. Gracie enjoyed playtime with the kids and with the resident dog, Olivia. She had her kennel available, but enjoyed cuddles with their teenage son and quickly made herself a part of the family. I will certainly consider booking for future stays, and recommend Joanne to others!”

“Sully had his first weekend with Rachel and family this past weekend! Prior to the arrival, she was very responsive and asked all the right questions to make sure Sully was a match for her family. We also did a meet and greet before to make sure it was a good fit. She posted daily updates on her Facebook page that truly showed the smile on our dogs face. They’re fenced in yard with a little blue is perfect for multiple doggies. He had the best weekend. He is still sleeping almost after 24 hours of picking him up. A tired dog is a happy dog. ;) We most definitely we contact Rachel for future overnight needs. She took great care of him and we are truly grateful for that!!”

About: I haven't been without a dog since age nine, when my parents gave us our first opportunity to develop a bond with a pet, Abby, our beloved English setter. She died the year I graduated from college, and since then I have had two of my own dogs: Gretta, a chocolate lab whom I owned from age 6 weeks until her death at age 13, and Lillie, a springer spaniel who was basically a life-long puppy exploding with energy and a fervor for running, jumping, and all things adventure-related. Sadly, Lillie died in June (at age 13), and we miss her so much. My husband and I like to travel, so I am not quite ready to adopt another dog yet, but in the meantime, I would love to pet-sit for other dogs so as to be around furry friends who bring so much joy to my life. I'm a teacher, so I'm mainly interested in walking and caring for pets on the weekends and during the summer months, but I can be available other times as well depending on my schedule. My job is to provide love, attention, and a safe and enriching learning environment to any pet in my care. I accommodate as needed depending on the needs of the individual animal.
