About: My mom had rescue dogs and cats my entire childhood, and a few years ago, I adopted my kitty, Momo. Outside of my home, I occasionally help care for friends’ cats when they travel, which some times includes overnight stays, or some times just 2x a day check ins. I love playing or just chilling with cats. I’m happy to match a cat’s energy and play or not play however it seems to like. Unfortunately, I also have experience with caring for cats at end-of-life, as well as caring for cats experiencing illness. I’ve given antibiotics to my family cats and friends’ cats. My cat Momo is particularly difficult to give medicine to - unfortunately it really stresses him out, so I am very acclimated to cat scratches.

About: While I’m relatively new to Rover, I have been a pet owner for cumulatively over 5 years of both dogs and cats. I currently have a 1.5 year old dachshund girl named Sage, a 14 year old senior dachshund named Buddy, and a 1 year old German Shorthair Pointer named Fin. I can also house sit and pup sit if that is your need/comfortability as well. I work during the normal school year as a nursing instructor. I am off during the summer and am home FULL TIME to dedicate ALL of my time & attention to the fur babies! Boarding at my home: safety is my top priority with animal to animal interaction and human to animal interaction. If pups need more alone time/privacy, they can be housed separately from my dogs at all times as we have multiple access points from our home to our fenced in yard and gate sectioning in our house. I do walks daily with them and am outside with them as well for the majority of the day. Our fenced in yard has a dog pool and I have BUCKETS of toys for them to play with! If your pup leans toward the spicier side & is more protective when it comes to their toys, food, or water please let me know and separation accommodations can be made, no problem. All breeds are different and each pup is different. I can also give medications topically, orally, injections etc. I can provide hourly updates through text, video call, phone calls, whatever you would like! At minimum I send a daily update. In your home: as a nurse, safety is always my top priority. I am also extremely clean and organized. I can maintain your daily routine with your pup so they don’t miss much while you are away. Again, meet and greets I encourage so you and especially your pup are comfortable meeting me and being in your home. I’ll be their make-shift auntie while you are away! About: Hey there! I am an animal lover to the core. Let me be your pet's new best friend while you are away! I recently moved back to the Midwest to be closer to family, about two years ago. I was traveling constantly for work, but am now full time work from home. When I lived in another state for work, I did pet care as a part time job with private clients weekly. I grew to absolutely love it and would love to get established back in Wisconsin. I grew up with dogs, cats, and cows my entire life - being raised on a farm. I am the type of person who can’t stop without petting a dog whenever I see one! Providing companionship to your pet is my favorite thing to do. We can go on walks, eat food, and watch the latest Hulu show together! Your fur baby is welcome to sleep with me, on the floor, or in any bed or crate you bring. My two rescue cats absolutely LOVE other animals, so there is no worry there. They are so curious and eventually become besties! Since I am work from home full time now, so I am extremely flexible and they will have constant attention. I do live in an apartment, BUT, I am right next to the walking trail in River Prairie (the loop). I would be more than happy to go on as many walks as needed, and enjoy some sunshine with your fur baby! So do not worry, they can be outside as much or little as you’d like. I am open to care of all animals, all sizes, and all ages. If wanted, I visit my family farm quite often where we have extensive yard and land to run on. It is 100% an option for me to take your pet there if you want them to have some extra smells, especially if they stay long term with me. I’m extremely flexible and want you to not have to worry! While I traveled full time for work in the past, constant updates on my animals back home was crucial to me. I will provide as much or little communication you’d like. I’m here to meet you and your pet where you’d like and keep being away from them stress free. I promise they are in such caring hands! I work from home most days and go on daily walks myself! I would love to have a companion along with me to help make my place less lonely! During the weekends I can give even extra attention! I have access to the loop walk near River Prairie where i can take your pet for a potty break or for a walk! About: I have worked for roughly two years dog sitting for friends and family. Typically these have been in my own home - occasionally overnight. I have a fenced in back yard for my 3 dogs & 2 cats so I have experience with both :) I have complete availability currently, so my dog at home gets quite a lot of walks and park time. If possible, i also try to socialize him with people each day. Typically I take my dog to the dog park in the evening with a long walk in the morning. This works best for my dogs energy levels, but each dog is different. I am also trying to socialize my dog in public as he is a bit scared of humans so we try to hit some breweries here and there.

About: My mom had rescue dogs and cats my entire childhood, and I always helped care for them as her oldest daughter. My mom adopted dogs big and small - as big as a golden retriever, and as little as a chihuahua, and often cared for multiple cats at a time. I grew up in California, where my family pets live with my parents - three dogs and two cats. My cat Momo moved to Eau Claire with me. My parents are planning to retire here, which will be a big move, especially with so many animals, so when the time comes, I’ll be helping move their pets. After living in Eau Claire for a month or so, I house and pet sat for my cousin while she was working on a project out of town for a few months. I bonded with her German Shepherd, Lobo, through long walks and runs, and fell in love with her tiny cat Duchess. Later that winter, while I was still doing the long-term pet sit for my cousin, one of her friend’s rescued a cat who had been abandoned. Due to her living situation, she couldn’t take it in immediately, so Lobo and Duchess had Zia as a guest living with us for a month or so. Beyond helping out my family, I have friends whose animals I help care for on occasion too. One friend reaches out when she needs to go out of town, and I will do check ups or come stay with her needy and sweet cat-named-Kitty. Another friend and I meet up to walk downtown with her cutie little dog Lotta. I record all my walks and runs on Strava, and enjoy posting photos and videos of my furry companions, so if I walk with your pup, I would be happy to share photos if you ask! Last summer, I looked after my co-worker’s chickens and garden for a 3-day weekend, so I’m open to learning how to care for other pets beyond cats and dogs too! I work part-time at the flower shop and my schedule varies week to week based on their need, but I have lots of free time between weekdays and the weekend - I always have a free Sunday. I can easily arrange my schedule to allow for plenty of time between walks, play time, or check ups with animals. I will be brand new to Rover and open to meeting pets’ needs and routines as their human typically would! Right now, beyond my cat Momo, the only other animals I care for are my cousin’s dog and cat when she’s traveling and needs me to fill in, and I care for them as she would - from feeding routines to play time, walks, and cleaning.

Over the weekend I typically have a flexible schedule and can visits dogs frequently! My attention is on the dog while I am with them. I make sure everything is on the check list is done and then some.
About: While I’m relatively new to Rover, I have been a pet owner for cumulatively over 5 years of both dogs and cats. I currently have a 1.5 year old dachshund girl named Sage, a 14 year old senior dachshund named Buddy, and a 1 year old German Shorthair Pointer named Fin. As a dog owner, I understand what it’s like to put your trust in someone else’s hands to take care of your fur baby. It’s a big deal, and I’d like to step in to ease those feelings and let you know your pet is in the hands of a genuine, gentle, patient, and kind pet sitter. I work remotely full time with a flex schedule, so I have a ton of flexibility throughout the day. I am fortunate to work for a non-profit that believes in a healthy work-life balance. I care for pets first and foremost with love and respect while maintaining a safe, clean, and fun environment for them. Every pet owner is different and I am happy to configure my care to the owner’s preferences.
About: They say to do what you love and make a career out of it. I’m just grateful my career gets to be with dogs. I currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding facility in the area, so I am certified with dog and cat behaviors and have seen the ups and downs of our fur babies, and I am still standing here happy to tell you all about their stay/session. I have also grown up with working farm dogs and have gone on to own a Great Pyrenees who isn’t quite a working dog but sure does “work” like one. Thank you for reading through my short history and I am super excited to update this with my accomplishments to come! Pet care for me starts at dawn lol My pups come for cuddles and a potty break first sight of my eyes opening. Most of the time this does align with my schedule in the 6 am timeframe. Our family does always thankfully have one person home at all times, so while kennels are still utilized in our home for various situations, your pups can expect to stay in a home environment while here :) While I personally do not have a yard, my family does own large pasture fields and hills that we will typically walk daily. These colder seasons do affect how often we go out due to the snow and unplowed hills. However in that safe weather we make it a main priority to keep active with our pups to maintain a healthy and long life for them. Safety is priority number one. Thankfully my family is pretty much set up for success here. We are knowledgeable for food, behavior, and play safety with dogs and cats. Signs and symptoms of common issues with dogs and cats, based off personal experiences, and possible fears of what ifs, urinary cat blockages and bloat, or bloody stools. And while I understand dog body language and know how to avoid those tense situations dogs can create, I am incredibly quick to say when we are going to the emergency vet, gosh forbid.

About: I can make the dog behave without forcing them and I'm going at dog I can take care them and dog loves me to I love dog They fit well my schedule Its not bad I work on morning after at noon I got nothing do to I'm free so thats good I can take them for a walk I play with them I make sure they eat and drink water my place it's good bc we have more space
About: I currently have 2 dogs and 2 long haired cats. Being a registered nurse I have a lot of experience giving medications to humans, but also animals. I have some grooming experience given my cats need for it. I have extensive reactivity training in dogs as one of ours has struggled since she was a puppy. I would love to make your fur-baby feel loved and cared for while you have the peace of mind while on vacation or work. I am currently a registered nurse, so my schedule is very open and I can shift things around as needed to help out! I do not work a straight routine, so have many open spaces. I would gladly watch your animals in your home so they continue to have the comfort of their natural area and no added stress of being somewhere they do not know. I will gladly follow whatever rules or schedule you set up!

About: Your pet will have a peaceful stay with lots of love and attention. I will make sure they feel right at home and get all the belly rubs! I work full time from home so if your pet is boarding with me they’ll never be alone, and if I am coming to your home I have some flexibility in my schedule. I love caring for animals! About: I grew up on a farm and we had all kinds of pets. My personal dog was a cavapoo .He lived for 17 years in my home! Im retired and do some driving . I have a cat that is pretty special to me. I had my dog for 17 years.. He was a good companion. I have a fenced in back yard in case you need to watch your dog during the day. And I'm also available for drop ins for your cat
