About: My mom had rescue dogs and cats my entire childhood, and a few years ago, I adopted my kitty, Momo. Outside of my home, I occasionally help care for friends’ cats when they travel, which some times includes overnight stays, or some times just 2x a day check ins. I love playing or just chilling with cats. I’m happy to match a cat’s energy and play or not play however it seems to like. Unfortunately, I also have experience with caring for cats at end-of-life, as well as caring for cats experiencing illness. I’ve given antibiotics to my family cats and friends’ cats. She is on quite a few medications for various health problems and I felt she was in very good hands with Jenna, who gave me daily updates on how she was eating and her litter box use status. My cat unfortunately developed a UTI while I was gone and Jenna took her to the emergency vet for me and was willing to go above and beyond and come super early the next morning to give her the antibiotic she needed. About: I've been around animals my whole life. I have a cat and have had several different dogs. I even fostered dogs for a summer. I'm now divorced and have my kids half the time. My work is flexible and I can add in dog care as needed throughout the day. I homeschool my boys when I have them and work delivery jobs when I don't. My work is very flexible so I can make time for per care any time. I live in town with a small yard. It works best to come to your home as it's most familiar for the animal. About: I have worked for roughly two years dog sitting for friends and family. Typically these have been in my own home - occasionally overnight. I have a fenced in back yard for my 3 dogs & 2 cats so I have experience with both :) I have complete availability currently, so my dog at home gets quite a lot of walks and park time. If possible, i also try to socialize him with people each day. Typically I take my dog to the dog park in the evening with a long walk in the morning. This works best for my dogs energy levels, but each dog is different. I am also trying to socialize my dog in public as he is a bit scared of humans so we try to hit some breweries here and there.

About: Work from home virtual high school science teacher. My husband Andy and daughters Halle (22) and Wynne (17) and our furry family members will all be at our home to make your furry friend feel like part of the family. We also have two inside cats that frequently go outside. I’ve never met an animal that I don’t love or that doesn’t love me. I decided to do this on the side to allow me to have more contact with animals without owning them or paying their vet bills. I believe that dogs are pack animals and will follow the alpha (me). If I’m calm, they will be calm. I’ve watched countless dog training shows and have always had two dogs my entire adult life. I have a great vacuum cleaner and a lint brush...what more does an animal lover need? I am home almost all the time. I teach from home all day during the school year with time off between classes. Animals can be on furniture and are usually hanging out next to me all the time. We have a fenced-in, large, tree-covered back yard with a doggie door that the animals can go in and out all day. Animals eat at 7am and 5pm with special treats here and there.

About: My mom had rescue dogs and cats my entire childhood, and I always helped care for them as her oldest daughter. My mom adopted dogs big and small - as big as a golden retriever, and as little as a chihuahua, and often cared for multiple cats at a time. I grew up in California, where my family pets live with my parents - three dogs and two cats. My cat Momo moved to Eau Claire with me. My parents are planning to retire here, which will be a big move, especially with so many animals, so when the time comes, I’ll be helping move their pets. After living in Eau Claire for a month or so, I house and pet sat for my cousin while she was working on a project out of town for a few months. I bonded with her German Shepherd, Lobo, through long walks and runs, and fell in love with her tiny cat Duchess. Later that winter, while I was still doing the long-term pet sit for my cousin, one of her friend’s rescued a cat who had been abandoned. Due to her living situation, she couldn’t take it in immediately, so Lobo and Duchess had Zia as a guest living with us for a month or so. Beyond helping out my family, I have friends whose animals I help care for on occasion too. One friend reaches out when she needs to go out of town, and I will do check ups or come stay with her needy and sweet cat-named-Kitty. Another friend and I meet up to walk downtown with her cutie little dog Lotta. I record all my walks and runs on Strava, and enjoy posting photos and videos of my furry companions, so if I walk with your pup, I would be happy to share photos if you ask! Last summer, I looked after my co-worker’s chickens and garden for a 3-day weekend, so I’m open to learning how to care for other pets beyond cats and dogs too! I work part-time at the flower shop and my schedule varies week to week based on their need, but I have lots of free time between weekdays and the weekend - I always have a free Sunday. I can easily arrange my schedule to allow for plenty of time between walks, play time, or check ups with animals. I will be brand new to Rover and open to meeting pets’ needs and routines as their human typically would! About: They say to do what you love and make a career out of it. I’m just grateful my career gets to be with dogs. I currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding facility in the area, so I am certified with dog and cat behaviors and have seen the ups and downs of our fur babies, and I am still standing here happy to tell you all about their stay/session. I have also grown up with working farm dogs and have gone on to own a Great Pyrenees who isn’t quite a working dog but sure does “work” like one. Our family does always thankfully have one person home at all times, so while kennels are still utilized in our home for various situations, your pups can expect to stay in a home environment while here :) While I personally do not have a yard, my family does own large pasture fields and hills that we will typically walk daily. These colder seasons do affect how often we go out due to the snow and unplowed hills. However in that safe weather we make it a main priority to keep active with our pups to maintain a healthy and long life for them. Safety is priority number one. Thankfully my family is pretty much set up for success here. We are knowledgeable for food, behavior, and play safety with dogs and cats. Signs and symptoms of common issues with dogs and cats, based off personal experiences, and possible fears of what ifs, urinary cat blockages and bloat, or bloody stools. And while I understand dog body language and know how to avoid those tense situations dogs can create, I am incredibly quick to say when we are going to the emergency vet, gosh forbid.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was about 8 years old with my own labs! This extended into caring for family, family friends and eventually neighbors and the occasional stranger’s dogs as I got older. Care has included walking, feeding, administering oral medication, bathing, and plenty of play and cuddle time. I’ve even worked in a doggy daycare previously! I’m comfortable around dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. About: I have worked with and cared for animals since I was 12 for fitness and family. I have always grown up with animals of all kinds. I have trained all my dogs I’ve had myself. I am comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes, as well as dogs with behaviors such as reactivity. I work in a school during the school year and can come those days before 10 and after 2:30. Summers I have plenty of time to spend and play with your fur babies. Weekends I am pretty busy but can make time to spend with your pets. About: Ive had a little more then 3 years pet experience taking care of all ages and sizes of dog and cats. Doing everything from walks, runs and drop ins to staying over night and taking care of the house and land as well. About: Dogs, cats and birds have always been a part of my life. As a child, we even had a pet crow named Butch! I work from home so your fur or feather baby won’t be left alone. My last two dogs passed away after months of battling cancer. My siberian husky had nasal cancer and my papillion had lymphoma. I have experience providing palliative care for dogs that are not feeling well and probably need extra love and attention. Currently, my resident dog is a foster failure named Peppy. Occasionally, I will have a foster dog in addition to my resident dog. I would disclose that information before booking. I currently work from home and my schedule is very flexible. After work, I walk my dog either around the neighborhood or we go to Red Cedar trail or to a park in town. I can easily crate your dog if you request it but it’s ok if he/she sleeps wherever. My dog freaks out in a crate (he was a breeder release) so he sleeps wherever he chooses. He is very gentle and has no teeth so I will not care for any aggressive dog.

About: I have worked for roughly two years dog sitting for friends and family. Typically these have been in my own home - occasionally overnight. I have a fenced in back yard for my 3 dogs & 2 cats so I have experience with both :) I have complete availability currently, so my dog at home gets quite a lot of walks and park time. If possible, i also try to socialize him with people each day. Typically I take my dog to the dog park in the evening with a long walk in the morning. This works best for my dogs energy levels, but each dog is different. I am also trying to socialize my dog in public as he is a bit scared of humans so we try to hit some breweries here and there.
