Loyal to my fellow dog loving friends sharing word of mouth recommendations, fostered a giant breed and helped find his forever home, loved my first dog for nearly 8 years, and now I would like to fill the void by helping care for your four legged family member. I have experience caring for senior dogs and puppies as well. I work fully remote, so I appreciate the screen breaks. I am able to go out for walks or outdoor time often. After losing my dog this summer, I do miss the quality time and walk routines. We joke that you better love dogs, but it is true. My home is setup to be dog friendly, maybe more rugs for traction on the vinyl plank floors. Animals are part of the family and that is how we treat guest pets as well. Living on 3 acres in the country, so a great space for outdoor activities. I am quite respectful when residing in another’s home and great at following instructions and/or preferred routines.

“Elizabeth did an excellent job caring for my two cats over a long weekend. She was punctual, kind, and quick to learn my cats' specific routines. I have one cat who is quite shy and typically hides from visitors (even family members who visit regularly), but Elizabeth managed to earn his trust on the very first visit. My other cat requires an inhaler twice a day and can be quite squirmy, but Elizabeth administered the dosages without any issues. Elizabeth sent updates after every drop-in visit, complete with cute photos. She even watered my flowers outside. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that my pets and my home were in good hands while I was away.”
About: I have been pet sitting for 20+ years and it might be one of my favorite ‘jobs’ because no part of it has ever felt like a job. Pets are family. I will make sure the appropriate number of scritches or pats are given per pet. I am also able to check in on cats at their home, knowing it is less stressful on the animal. About: I’ve always grown up and helped take care of family pets. I had mostly big dogs growing up. There’s no breeds that I’m really scared of or anything like that. I currently have two pets now one is a seven month Alaskan malamute and one is a one year-old domestic short hair. I only work two days a week and my job is pretty flexible so I’ll have really any time to be able to give your dog or cat all the love and attention that they need I will do what the pet parent says to do on guidance for the pet. I have had experience with kennel training lease training all of that if you have a fenced in yard, I’ll it’ll be better.

About: I have been taking care of friends and families pets since I was 16. Taking care of their animals while they are on vacation. I was responsive for feeding, walking, taking them out to use the bathroom, playing with them and caring for them while their parents were away. I’m a teacher. During the school year I’m available every day, but all day on Saturday's and Sunday's. In the summer time my availability is wide open! I live in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of roads and paths for walking around to get plenty of exercise. We have an open basement for playing and a dog of our own they can have fun with!

About: Please note*** I cannot board pets where I live, all pet sitting (days and overnight) is done at your residence. Hello! I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile and spend Summers in WI and Winters in AZ. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs over the years. We love to go on walks and to the dog park with our pup and would love to do the same with yours! Our pup loves to be with friends! I work from home full time so I am able to go on walks at any time of the day and take breaks to run them in the open green space I have to tire them out! About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing. I have an incredibly flexible work schedule that will enable me to schedule my work hours around my hours caring for animals. Loyal to my fellow dog loving friends sharing word of mouth recommendations, fostered a giant breed and helped find his forever home, loved my first dog for nearly 8 years, and now I would like to fill the void by helping care for your four legged family member. After losing my dog this summer, I do miss the quality time and walk routines. We joke that you better love dogs, but it is true. My home is setup to be dog friendly, maybe more rugs for traction on the vinyl plank floors. Animals are part of the family and that is how we treat guest pets as well. Living on 3 acres in the country, so a great space for outdoor activities. I am quite respectful when residing in another’s home and great at following instructions and/or preferred routines.
