I have two Weiner dogs at my mom's house, a labordooddle at my dad's, and two cats of my own.I know and love all kinds of dogs and cats! About: Growing up, my mom was the Eau Claire County Humane Officer, FEMA Animal Emergency Management volunteer coordinator, and general manager of the Chippewa County Humane Association. We live in a large, upper, 2 bedroom apartment and can easily accommodate temporary space for one or two more pets (of the same family). We have a bichon named Lexie who we adore. Unfortunately we lost our loving shitzu Lucy back in Feb at age 13. Dogs are very much a part of our lives. We have cared for dogs of all sizes. We do prefer non shedding. We have a 2 acre yard to explore when we go for walks on a leash. Dogs love to walk with us daily around our 1 acre pond. When dogs go outside, we have a large leash that we hook them on for their potty needs to keep them safe as well as for them to safely explore when we are not with them. I do daily walks with my dog. Goats, chickens, guinea hens, ducks etc. Rates and payment options can be discussed in person as I'm unable to add an option for that on here 😀 Having pets of my own, I am constantly taking care of them. Filling their water dishes, giving them their food on time. Making sure they are getting the proper exercise they need. Monthly nail trimmings. Daily exercise inside and outside of my house. Keeping their indoor and outdoor areas clean of 💩 and anything that could be potentially harmful to all pets. I always make sure there is accessible water for all the pets in my home. I also keep feeding schedules logged into my calendar on my phone so that no one ever misses a feeding. Pups go outside at least once an hour unless they show that they need to go out more frequently. Also provide play time, with running around the fenced in yard, playing with toys and tons of snuggles on the couches!
About: I have been taking care of a wide variety of animals my whole life. Growing up we had dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, and a rabbit! I also currently have a Hedgehog as well! I have been a veterinary technician for a few years, and I am Fear Free Certified working on my level 2 certification for more advanced training. I especially love working with senior and special needs pets, and pets who need special care due to behavior (ex. Dog aggressive, anxiety, etc.) I have a unique bond with every pet that I meet, and I look forward to all the special connections that I get to make! I am available most days and times, with the exception of overnight, as I’m currently staying home with my young daughter. Feel free to reach out even during holidays. I work with the individual needs of every pet, and can adapt very quickly to any situation. I can work with most any type of training or “house rules” formulated by owners and can help your fur-baby feel very comfortable.
About: There hasn’t been a time in my life where I haven’t had a pet. I have a dog, a cat, and fish as well in my own home right now and I would love to take care of your pets as well. I have a very active lifestyle, so I am well prepared for walks and playing with your pets! I just finished my sophomore year of college and am on summer break. I am waitressing this summer, but I don't work every day. When I do work, my shifts are either 10am-4pm or 4pm-11pm generally. So, even when I do have work, your pet won’t be alone for too long because I can come right before and after my shift to check up on your pet and/or still sleep over at the house with them if you want me to. I am able to accommodate to whatever your dog needs. I can run with them in the backyard, or just chill on the couch with them. Whatever it is, my goal is to make them happy and comfortable.
About: I have done pet foster care for Dane County Humane Society for a number of years. I take in injured and healing dogs. Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I turned to them in times of need and they depend on me for companionship and guidance. I am currently semi retired and working 10 hours a week for a local TV station. My time is very flexible. I am going to be tied up for a few hours on Monday evening We have a large yard in the country and we have walking trails adjacent to our property. I have a 50 pound dog with hip dysplasia and a torn ACL she cannot do A whole lot at this time so I enjoy getting out and walking with other dogs. Our cat Luna recently passed away. She will be missed.
About: I currently care for my two dogs, Rosco and Merle. Also cared for animals on my dairy farm back home in Wisconsin. My family knows me as an animal lover and I can promise you, your pet will be in good hands with me. I currently work part time and my hours are very flexible. I work for Instacart so I choose my own hours. I am also available most weekends! I have a fenced in backyard that is an acre. I have two friendly dogs that love to play with all dogs no matter the breed, gender, or size.
About: I have had a dog since I was little and I have always loved caring for him and love playing with him. I also like the company of a dog when I am doing homework, cleaning, ect. It is very comforting to me. I hope to provide lots of love and care for your dog! I am very flexible because I am currently in online school so I can care for your pup all day and all night if needed. I have always taken the care of pets very seriously and have taken my dogs as well as my neighbors dogs (when needed) out for walks no matter the weather.
