About: I have always had pets while growing up. Rabbits, dogs, cats, calves. My family lived on a farm in my younger years and I absolutely loved the animals we had and loved caring for them. I do drop in visits to care for some of my friend's animals and I also walk dogs,play with them and keep them company while their owner's are at work. My pet's have always been considered my kids and I take the utmost care for friend's,family and customer's pets--as if they were my own. Animals seem to warm up to me right away. I look forward to meeting your pets and making a great relationship with them. I am on Social Security Disability so I am unable to work. I am disabled due to neck surgeries/pain but caring for animal's does not not interfere with my pain. It's very therapeutic for me to be around animals. I am usually very flexible with my schedule, as to fit you in, if I have a 3 day (or more) notice. About: Please note*** I cannot board pets where I live, all pet sitting (days and overnight) is done at your residence. Hello! I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I lost my 14 yr. old lab to old age 2 years ago, and just recently got a new yellow lab puppy here in March. I really missed having a travel companion! I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile in the Western AZ / Southeastern CA area. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

“Our dogs had a great time at Alisha's. We went camping for a weekend, which was our first time leaving them at a sitter's house since we got them. We felt very assured that they were in good hands. They were pooped when we picked them up and slept all day once we got home. Doesn't happen often so that's how we knew they got a lot of playing in that weekend!”

“This was our first time using Rover. We hit the jackpot picking Nicole & Derek. Of course we were worried about leaving Odie and then with the rain the first night, I was really concerned about how Odie was doing. I received pictures and updates plus was told Odie got to sleep with one of their boys! When I picked Odie up, he was happy and really tired from having a fun weekend. Nothing like his reaction or smell when we have had to put him in a kennel. Thank you, thank you, thank you Nicole, Derek and your boys! I hope they will be available when we next need to leave Odie in someone else’s care.”

About: I’ve had pets all my life and have fostered many puppies and dogs over the years. I have experience in puppy training, high anxiety dogs, shy dogs, active dogs and seniors. I work from home and am home 24/7. We have lots of playtime outside in the backyard especially when the weather is nice. I have lots of toys, a doggy pool and a yard to play in! I have a 5ft fully fenced in yard that allows my dogs to get lots of playtime, including a doggy pool. I am home all day so your pet will not be left alone.

Walks: I use a gentle leader, treats and positive reinforcement for training. My dog does not use a kennel. She enjoys dog beds, couches, and beds.
