About: I've been taking care of dogs on my own since middle school. We've always had a family dog in the household as well as friends and neighbors who would need help with their little ones. I have a BS in Animal Science, have worked as an emergency vet assistant/triage tech for the last 3 years, and have some professional dog training experience. My daughter's cat sleeps with me when I am there. My son's cats will lie on my computer. My family and clients' cats love to be brushed, pet, and given treats. My family has nicknamed me dog girl because I take on the challenge of caring for all of them during family functions. My biggest emphasis while pet sitting is keeping the pet parent daily informed with updates and pictures. I am at my happiest when we are all in the same house, each of us with a dog on our lap or at our feet. I don't know what life is like without a dog in it! I lost my 4 year old mini dachshund unexpectedly in 2020. Since then my love for dogs has only grown. I would love to hangout with your furbaby! I currently work a hybrid schedule, working from home most days. My role allows me flexibility throughout the day. I would love to fit in a couple of dog walks and cuddles into my schedule. All dogs are part of the family in my home. I will never treat them differently. I grew up with runners, so have no fear that keeping your dogs safe and home is my number one priority.

About: I have worked with numerous animals since I was 5 years old. I have owned chickens, rabbits, horses, dogs, and cats my entire life. I am a 4-H leader where I teach children how to train dogs and I help them show and prepare their animals at fair. I also show my own animals at the fair. Additionally, I have pet sat for numerous family members over the years as well as friends. I will always be there for your pet and I will make sure they are well taken care of and loved just like they are my own. I am a teacher who is currently on summer break. So my schedule is pretty open during the summer and I have a lot of availability. During the school year, most of my weekends are free as well as when we have breaks. I am flexible and willing to make things work for you! I live on a little hobby farm with my husband. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats who are very friendly. I have everything needed in my home to take care of a dog including a kennel if needed as well as tie outs. We have a lake that is 5 minutes from our house and if your dog loves to swim, I would be happy to take them. I take my dogs all over in the summer and I would make sure your pet gets a lot of attention and exercise as well. Additionally, we have a huge barn and fenced in pasture as well as rabbit hutches in the barn and a chicken coop! Whatever animal you have they can be comfortable at my property. Additionally, if you feel better about your animal staying at home, I am happy to accommodate to that as well.
