About: I haven't been without a dog since age nine, when my parents gave us our first opportunity to develop a bond with a pet, Abby, our beloved English setter. She died the year I graduated from college, and since then I have had two of my own dogs: Gretta, a chocolate lab whom I owned from age 6 weeks until her death at age 13, and Lillie, a springer spaniel who was basically a life-long puppy exploding with energy and a fervor for running, jumping, and all things adventure-related. Sadly, Lillie died in June (at age 13), and we miss her so much. My husband and I like to travel, so I am not quite ready to adopt another dog yet, but in the meantime, I would love to pet-sit for other dogs so as to be around furry friends who bring so much joy to my life. I'm a teacher, so I'm mainly interested in walking and caring for pets on the weekends and during the summer months, but I can be available other times as well depending on my schedule. My job is to provide love, attention, and a safe and enriching learning environment to any pet in my care. I accommodate as needed depending on the needs of the individual animal.

“We were so happy to find Kim to care for our three cats. This was our first time having someone from Rover care for our cats and it was also the first time one of our cats needed medication administered twice per day. The cats were also adjusting to a brand new regimen of each having a special diet per the vet, so it was not an ideal time for us to leave town. However, Kim did a wonderful job and really made us feel confident and at ease while we were on spring break that they were being well cared for. We got reports and pictures with every visit. Kim was great at communicating and keeping me in the loop as she figured out a system of how to best give the meds and meet their special dietary needs...balancing needing to get the meds in but also making sure she kept a good relationship with them so they wouldn't hide, etc. By the middle of the week, the cats were already asking for belly rubs and to play fetch. It was really heartwarming to see them doing so well while we traveled. I would not hesitate to recommend Kim. Thank you so much, Kim!”

About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.
About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I love to walk and play with them and also have snuggle time if they like that. My schedule is flexible to accommodate their needs! I have not done injections but am willing to do if trained I’m retired so I have plenty of time to care for your pet in my home or come to your home for check-ins and walks. About: At a young age i was brought to America from russia ; I instantly fell in love with my family pet Toby. She was a black lab mixed with Australian shepherd. I didn't speak english very well but Toby made me feel I was understood and this is where I found my love for animals. Few years later our next door neighbor gave us a cat and she was pregnant. 6 kittens later and out of 6 I managed to convince my parents to keep 4. A year later I found another cat in out country yard and kept her as well. Having 1 dog and 5 cats was a big task but I loved it. I currently have a very needy loving bulldog named merlin who loves all the attention from his mama. Merlins enjoy of life are sitting on his mama's lap and wanting to play as soon as he's had his maybe 3 nap in by 12pm after the well deserved nap merlin is all ready to use his energy on running, jumping, and giving kisses. My cat Ripley was going to be put down since she was at the pet shop for over a year. She wasn't wanted because she wasn't friendly towards everyone. She was as described as she was selective of who she'd come down her shelf for. My family visited her frequently and eventually I decided to adopte her. I offer to watch my apt neighbors dogs and any friends that ask me to watch their animals. I would love to get to meet your pet/s and give them attention when your away untill your return back. I take care of merlin ( English bulldog), Ripley (maine coon), 2 Russian tortoises( 8 yrs I've had them, probably will be passed down to my future husbands kids) , a hamster( had him for 3 yrs now ). I love sharing my attention to all the animals that I have and meet. I look forward to providing the best care for your pet/s while you are busy making money for the Biscuits or take a well deserved break from the every day to day. I currently can not pet sit at my apartment for a long period of time. I have occasionally watched a dog for a weekend but with prior meet/ greet and making sure my dog gets along with your pet/s. About: I haven't been without a dog since age nine, when my parents gave us our first opportunity to develop a bond with a pet, Abby, our beloved English setter. She died the year I graduated from college, and since then I have had two of my own dogs: Gretta, a chocolate lab whom I owned from age 6 weeks until her death at age 13, and Lillie, a springer spaniel who was basically a life-long puppy exploding with energy and a fervor for running, jumping, and all things adventure-related. Sadly, Lillie died in June (at age 13), and we miss her so much. My husband and I like to travel, so I am not quite ready to adopt another dog yet, but in the meantime, I would love to pet-sit for other dogs so as to be around furry friends who bring so much joy to my life. I'm a teacher, so I'm mainly interested in walking and caring for pets on the weekends and during the summer months, but I can be available other times as well depending on my schedule. My job is to provide love, attention, and a safe and enriching learning environment to any pet in my care. I accommodate as needed depending on the needs of the individual animal.

“Linda was amazing! She was able to accommodate my dog very last minute, which I truly appreciated. She was very kind and made sure my dog was comfortable and well cared for throughout her stay. She took her on multiple walks each day and kept me updated, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. This was my first time leaving my dog with someone I didn’t know, and Linda made the experience so much easier than I expected. I could tell that she genuinely cared about making sure my dog was happy and comfortable. I’m very grateful for the care she provided and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and caring to watch their dog!”
“Gracie had an amazing stay with Joanne (& her family!) I enjoyed the communications and pictures during Gracie’s time in their home. Gracie enjoyed playtime with the kids and with the resident dog, Olivia. She had her kennel available, but enjoyed cuddles with their teenage son and quickly made herself a part of the family. I will certainly consider booking for future stays, and recommend Joanne to others!”
