But in a very short time she has charmed both of them. The shy one is coming out of her shell and the aggressive one sees her as his new best friend....a truly difficult thing to do with animals who don't trust strangers. I HIGHLY recommend her services....there are "no worries" leaving the house when Allison is in charge!”

About: Hello! Over the last few years, I have gained experience in caring for dogs in daycare and boarding settings, as well as in some training settings. The knowledge that I have gained from these experiences sets me apart because I now know the importance of building trust with pets. I am an advocate for positive reinforcement training methods, and have some experience with Fear Free methods as well. While I do not have any dog training certifications, I have had the opportunity to work alongside some wonderful dog professionals who have expanded my knowledge and understanding of what it means to advocate for all dogs, especially those who may be a bit more fearful. If you have a pet who needs to take things slow, or has some behaviors that may not make them successful in a dog daycare setting, I would be happy to see if I can make it into their "safe people" club! After 3 years working full-time in the dog care industry, I have become fluent in dog body language and communication. I am also happy to take care of baths and nails for dogs as long as you have supplies. I have 3 years of professional experience in both, but no haircuts:) I am working part time in the mornings and evenings for a few hours at a time, so I can fill my schedule around those hours with hanging out with your pet! In caring for your pup, I will monitor their behavior and ensure they are happy and excited about any activities we may be doing. About: I’ve had dogs in my home all my life!! Just looking to hang out with some pups and help out! Dog has to be good with a baby in the house and another dog. We have a mini Australian shepherd. Dogs will get walked at least 2 times daily! I am fully available weekdays and weekends! About: I grew up with all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, horses, ducks, and rabbits. I also had a great deal of time with other animals such as cows, and chickens at my Grandpa's dairy farm. One of my past jobs was being a dog sitter, to care for them, and do some training as well. About: I've always had dogs in our family and sense getting older continue to love them. I handle all the training for my dogs and even do bikejoring with them! I frequent the local dog park weekly and go on frequent walks as well. I have a large fenced in area (and an electric portion on top to defer dog nappers!) With free access of water and feedings twice a day (or more if your dog needs it!) your pups will feel right at home with me. I have basic first aid knowledge and did complete a semester of vet tech in collage so I can handle pretty much anything from pills to injections. Your dog will be treated like family and thus will get better treatment than most humans! LOL I’ve been running and maintaining my own business as a handywoman for the last few years but miss the interactions with other dogs! My schedule is very flexible for that reason. As stated in a previous section I have a fenced in yard with free access of fresh water and feeding done twice a day. My dogs are both house trained and crate trained. They also are great with other dogs. In my fenced in backyard it’s about 90% privacy fence and is currently in the process of being cleaned up after the pool had a leak and ruined a lot of the stuff we had back there including a jungle gym for the dogs.

About: I've spent my entire life having animals and loved them for my entire life. I've had cats my entire life, and often this is not lent itself well to me also owning a dog. We currently own three cats one 12 year old lady, and two 2 year old brothers. When I was young I would walk the neighbor's dog just so I could get some dog time in. In college and after college I had several roommates who had dogs I lived with, who I would also help care for either just for fun or while they were gone. I have also taken care of friends dogs while they are out of town on vacation. I have experience with cats from 6 weeks old all the way up to end of life. I have experience in giving cats medication, special diets, special instructions and any other quirks your cat may have. I'm experienced in walking dogs, playing with dogs, feeding dogs (including special diets) and while I love larger dogs, I currently am unable to care for them due to a medical condition and it only able to care for a small dogs. I'm currently taking a break from my career and have very flexible availability, both during the week and on the weekends. I do request 24 hours notice. I will take care of your pets with the instructions you leave me with. I will rely on you as the pet parent to make all major decisions and follow your rules as best as possible. I am great with communication and will regularly communicate with you to show you how your pets are doing while you're out of town and ask any questions that arise while you're gone.

I see every animal as an individual requiring specific care and love to learn about what makes them each unique. I grew up caring for chickens, had a dog in agility, along with a pet parakeet. I lived in Myanmar during peace corps and quickly became known as the "cat house" because all the stray cats would go in and out of my house--and I ended up caring for 3 litters of kittens alongside the mothers (thankfully getting them both spayed). I've done some fostering and overnight pet-sitting, and would meet your pets needs wherever they're at! I will be substitute teaching starting in the fall, so before that my schedule will be quite flexible, then afterwards I’ll still be available and flexible (I don’t plan to sub every day as I’m also an online student) but wouldn’t always be able to do midday visits. However, just ask! I only provide care in the pets' habitats as I can't guarantee my cats would get along with all animals, but I promise to leave the house looking the same as it did when I came in, use the appropriate leash/harnesses on walks, and keep litter boxes clean.

About: For years I have walked and taken care of my neighborhoods dogs. I even had a dog myself and would take him on walks everyday. I now have a cat with my significant other and love playing with him. When I get home from work I like to go on walks, but I miss walking my late dog so walking and taking care of someone else animal would make me happy and also them. Making sure the yard is safe and doors or fences are close before letting the animals out. Making sure everything is put away and not in reach of the animals unless it is their toys or things meant for them.
