“Karen was great to work with. Very open for a meet and greet prior to having our Barley stay there. She allowed Barley to wander in the fenced in area to familiarize himself. Barley wasn't afraid of her, in fact walked right up to her for petting. She was great in letting us drop off 1/2 hr earlier than expected as was ready for our vacation earlier. Arrived home earlier in the day than we thought so was great with letting us pick up Barley a day early. Karen said she would go on Rover and adjust days for a refund...I declined and said enjoy it as a tip. He was a tired but happy dog when we picked him up. Thank you Karen.”

About: Our family has always been surrounded by animals, and we’ve loved dog sitting for friends and neighbors over the years. While we are not ready to own a dog yet, my kids and I would love to take yours for the weekend! We have a backyard and a large park close by for getting outside so your dog will get plenty of outdoor time, play, and exercise. You can expect lots of interaction, attention, and a warm family environment where your pet will feel right at home. I work Monday through Friday but have plenty of time on evenings and weekends for interaction and exercise with your dog. Your dog can expect 2-3 walks a day, being outside as much as possible and lots of interaction from our kids when staying with us. We have a single family home with an un-fenced backyard, however your dog will never be left unsupervised outside. Your dog will receive the same care as if it were ours.

My goal is to make every dog feel happy, safe, and loved. I don't have much experience with cats but am eager to learn and help any cat parent that needs it. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule that allows me to check on or walk pets during the day or anytime during the week. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Whether I’m walking your dog, visiting for a drop in, or staying in your home, I make sure each pet feels relaxed, secure, and loved. During walks, I always use secure leashes, avoid unsafe areas, and keep a close eye on your dog’s behavior and surroundings. For drop in visits, I follow your routine for feeding, playtime, and potty breaks to keep things consistent and stress free. When staying in your home, I treat your space with respect and keep everything clean and tidy while maintaining your pet’s usual schedule.

I have do very well at training dogs I’m not certified.I have 4 dogs now and it’s brings me joy. I do have a spouse home to take care of them so I can take care of yours no worries there. About: I always had a dog in my house growing up, and my dogs became part of the family. I have been dog sitting for five years and continue to love helping people take care of their pets. I currently do not own a dog at my own place, but my parents have two Labrador retrievers that I visit any chance I can get. I am very organized and enjoy working with different types of pets. About: I have had experience with both cats and dogs since I was a toddler. In my teens, I became active on surrounding farms so I also bonded with horses and cows. I have experience in dog walking and house sitting for pets. I'm currently a college student, so my summers are very open to fit most times and schedules. “Karen was great to work with. Very open for a meet and greet prior to having our Barley stay there. She allowed Barley to wander in the fenced in area to familiarize himself. Barley wasn't afraid of her, in fact walked right up to her for petting. She was great in letting us drop off 1/2 hr earlier than expected as was ready for our vacation earlier. Arrived home earlier in the day than we thought so was great with letting us pick up Barley a day early. Karen said she would go on Rover and adjust days for a refund...I declined and said enjoy it as a tip. He was a tired but happy dog when we picked him up. Thank you Karen.”

About: Our family has always been surrounded by animals, and we’ve loved dog sitting for friends and neighbors over the years. While we are not ready to own a dog yet, my kids and I would love to take yours for the weekend! We have a backyard and a large park close by for getting outside so your dog will get plenty of outdoor time, play, and exercise. You can expect lots of interaction, attention, and a warm family environment where your pet will feel right at home. I work Monday through Friday but have plenty of time on evenings and weekends for interaction and exercise with your dog. Your dog can expect 2-3 walks a day, being outside as much as possible and lots of interaction from our kids when staying with us. We have a single family home with an un-fenced backyard, however your dog will never be left unsupervised outside. Your dog will receive the same care as if it were ours.
