About: Although I have minimal experience with pet care, I’ve been around animals my entire life. I’ve grown up with multiple dogs and cats in the house. I absolutely love pets and take pride in the patience and gentleness that I’ve been blessed with. I always show the absolute most love that I can to pets. I’ve also lived on farms for the majority of my life with animals like cows, horses, chickens, and even donkeys. All being said, I love animals and will give nothing but that love to yours! I am a foster parent for many different rescues in the area including Cocos Heart, Across America Boxer Rescue and Rejection Collection Boxer Rescue. I have fostered everything from 10 week old puppies (yes I have the chew marks on my couch to prove it) to the unforgettable seniors! My home is full of dog beds, treats and all the loving they could ever want. I have a privacy fenced in backyard and provide kennels as well for safe spaces too. I would love to cuddle your fur baby while you are away. I will be returning to the office here in January but I can offer a safe space via kennel or pen while I’m at work (no longer than 8 hours). I do have some hybrid days that I may be home to give extra cuddles. When I’m not working, I’m home. While home, treats, loves, pets, outside time are in the agenda. When I am not home safe space kennel time with soothing music until I return will play. My privacy fence covers 90% of my yard with a fenced gate covering the other 10%. Your fur baby will not be outside unattended however. I also have a boxer that if they get along they are welcomed to play together, however if they don’t get along no worries! Being a foster parent I know how to split my house and time between to babies. I also have cameras set up so I can keep an eye on the babies at all times. Your fur baby will be treated like royalty when they are staying here.

About: I’ve worked with dogs and cats in many different ways. I have owned dogs my entire life, plus a few cats. I volunteer at the Humane Society in Kansas City while at school where I work directly with the shelter dogs. I have house sat for multiple family friends and am ready to take on new pups and cats! I am currently home from school for the summer so am looking to fill the time. I work part time as a server a few times a week. During the day I often just workout, read a book, or hang with my own dogs. I have fostered a dog before and can adjust well to your dogs needs. I have raised multiple puppies into adulthood, with two currently being my own! From potty training to tricks, to walking on a leash, I have done it all! I also have had family dogs that’s we have had until 12-14 years old that have required special needs due to age. I am a nurse who once wanted to become a vet so I am super flexible from an experience standpoint!😊 I am a night shift nurse who works just a couple days a week! With that being said, my schedule is flexible and I’m almost always home! We are extremely active people who go on multiple walks a day, and I typically run a couple miles a week as well! Weather permitting, we are outside 95% of the time. My dogs are always enjoying the sun on our large deck that overlooks our woods, outside running in the woods, or playing fetch in the yard. We have 2 young and friendly labradors who love to play and meet new friends! We own 2 acres, half of it being woods with trails! This would be for the guests who have a great recall or have halo collars😊 For the ones who struggle a little more with recall, we have a 3 car garage with a doggy door to go in and out of a fenced in area (in pictures)! Also a large deck to catch some rays on, as well as plenty and plenty of walks! I want your pup(s) to feel as comfortable as possible and never want to leave😊 I am extremely flexible and want to stick to their routine as much as possible!

This would be for the guests who have a great recall or have halo collars😊 For the ones who struggle a little more with recall, we have a 3 car garage with a doggy door to go in and out of a fenced in area (in pictures)! Also a large deck to catch some rays on, as well as plenty and plenty of walks! I want your pup(s) to feel as comfortable as possible and never want to leave😊 I am extremely flexible and want to stick to their routine as much as possible!

I completed The Ultimate Canine Communication Masterclass by Larry Krohn, and working on a couple other courses with the intention of eventually getting certified in dog training. A lot of what I learned in those courses relate to proper equipment, dog behaviors and body language, communication, and foundation. Which all play in a role in caring for and keeping your pet safe and having fun!

“This was Rosie first boarding, other than a few nights at a commercial daycare center. Mike accommodated an unexpected nighttime crate issue, Rosie did not want to sleep in her crate. She has slept in her crate at our home since we got her as a 3mo puppy in early April 2024. Thank you Mike. After her stay at Mike’s, we are now more aware that we need to work on the “come” command. Thank you Mike for all the daily pictures - she looked like she was having fun!”

“Wow!! We had a boarding set up with another Rover family but unfortunately - it was not going to be a good fit. I quickly messaged Princesa - as this was the day we were to leave for the long memorial weekend - and she responded almost instantly! They were Incredibly flexible offering to meet for public pick up on our way out of town or bring her to their home based on our needs. Our pup had an AMAZING time and we were updated with pictures and texts daily. We were able to enjoy our holiday weekend with our minds at ease knowing our pup was well taken care of!!!!
