About: I have always had pets in my home my whole life both dogs and cats I am more of a dog person but I absolutely love caring for all animals and I know how difficult it can be depending on the animal my parents most recent dog was a handful he was in and out of several homes before finding his way to ours because of he’s very energetic and sometimes violent behavior but we turned him to a sweetie with time and good training. At first he was rather aggressive towards me and was very difficult to train because of how long he had gone without training which taught me a lot of tricks to deal with a difficult and aggressive dog. If you have a fenced in yard your fur babies will be let out every two hours (supervised of course:) )No fenced in yard? No problem. They will still be taken out every two hours on a leash. I took care of my yellow lab/retriever mix, Blue, for so many years; taking her on long walks, giving her baths, making sure she got along with our neighbor dogs. After my dog died at the age of 15, my family didn't think we would get another dog. 7 years ago, we got a new puppy, his name is Brooks, and he is a yellow lab. He is our first inside dog, so he loves cuddles, treats, sleeping, playing catch and sneaking downstairs where he is not supposed to be. I have lots of experience with dogs and I appreciate and love them very much! I am currently working at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, so I have the summer off. This summer I also work part-time at Festival. During the school year, I have Fridays off and I am done by 5:30pm the other days. On Mondays and Wednesdays I have slower mornings. I can help out throughout the day and on weekends. I live in an apartment building but there is an area with lots of grass and next to the building and around the area. My building doesn’t allow pets so I am not able to house pets at my place, but I can always talk to my landlord.
