About: Growing up on a small farm, we always had cats (good mousers), which we as kids were responsible for - feeding, cleaning & playing. As an adult, I've had several cats that were wonderful companions and lived pampered lives, to old age. Currently, I'm fostering my sisters cat (she's indoor/outdoor) with lots of personality. Her box gets scooped 2x/day and she's spoiled with 3 feedings/day. Each cat is different and I love getting to know their personality and playfulness. About: I've always had dogs in our family and sense getting older continue to love them. I handle all the training for my dogs and even do bikejoring with them! I frequent the local dog park weekly and go on frequent walks as well. I have a large fenced in area (and an electric portion on top to defer dog nappers!) With free access of water and feedings twice a day (or more if your dog needs it!) your pups will feel right at home with me. I have basic first aid knowledge and did complete a semester of vet tech in collage so I can handle pretty much anything from pills to injections. Your dog will be treated like family and thus will get better treatment than most humans! LOL I’ve been running and maintaining my own business as a handywoman for the last few years but miss the interactions with other dogs! My schedule is very flexible for that reason. As stated in a previous section I have a fenced in yard with free access of fresh water and feeding done twice a day. My dogs are both house trained and crate trained. They also are great with other dogs. In my fenced in backyard it’s about 90% privacy fence and is currently in the process of being cleaned up after the pool had a leak and ruined a lot of the stuff we had back there including a jungle gym for the dogs.

Each extended stay (2-3 weeks each) included caring for dogs and keeping their routine (feeding/watering, cleaning up after, daily walks, play time & grooming), and maintaining the household (water plants/garbage pickup/mail collection, etc.) for 3 months. Some needed medication, in which I'm comfortable with (instructions required) and some had minor behavioral issues, but all manageable. When I get home from work I like to go on walks, but I miss walking my late dog so walking and taking care of someone else animal would make me happy and also them. Making sure the yard is safe and doors or fences are close before letting the animals out. Making sure everything is put away and not in reach of the animals unless it is their toys or things meant for them.
