About: My family has an 11yo Golden Retriever that I’ve helped care for since she was a puppy. I also regularly dog sit for family friends who have 2 small dogs, one is 10yo and the other is 2yo. I have experience with walking dogs on leashes and in the open country! I’m also the go-to person in the family to get ticks off of the dogs! I work from home a majority of the time now so my schedule is very flexible! I typically go into the office 1-2 days a week. Since I no longer live at home I don’t get the opportunity to see my family dog every day so getting the chance to get my pet love in would be a great joy as well as being able to help someone else out. I care about making sure that the pet has the proper equipment (leash, bed, toys, kennel) to live safely and happily. I typically like to use a harness leash as it doesn’t pull on the dogs neck when walking. I also make sure that all pets have food and water (food when needed) and that they are not being over or under fed. About: We’ve always had animals growing up, and I’ve always had lots of love for them. I am fully comfortable working with different dogs. I currently also work in child care, so taking care of animals is one of my strong suits. I’m 21 now and got my own first puppy in May. My parents have always had dogs but having your own is a whole new experience. BUT the best thing in the world. I’m currently working part time, so I have more time to work with your pup! I am most available in the mornings when your pups got the most energy! We only kennel our puppy if we leave the house, otherwise she sleeps in our room at night and is not in the kennel other times. About: Ever since I was little I've always loved dogs! Growing up there were always dogs around and it was so much fun. Fast forward-I am a stay at home mom but was previously a nanny and some of the families had 1 or 2 dogs that I loved playing with, taking on walks, and snuggling. I would stay for 1-2 weeks throughout the year at their house watching their dogs while they were on vacation. From playing fetch, back scratches to belly rubs, breakfast and dinner, and all of the in betweens you'll know your dog(s) is/are in great hands! It's always so much fun walking in the door and having a dog greet you being so happy that you are there! I've done many overnight dogsitting nights as well as popping in once/twice during the day to let them go potty. I was always the little kid who would go up to strangers asking to pet their dog, and I still will! Dogs deserve love too! I have one adorable Shepherd/Terrier mix at home, who is a little over one years old! I have trained her to do a lot of tricks, including how to give hugs and kisses on command! My dog normally just roams the house while we are gone. When I let her outside she gets put on a leash. We do let her free roam with a shock collar on when we play ball though. However, I am willing to do whatever fits your routine and whatever your dog is comfortable with! If a crate works best for them, or if they get let out in a fenced yard, then that’s what we will do! Yolanda was gracious enough to accept my request for boarding Riley on a holiday weekend and even agreed to keep her an extra hour later on short notice without charge. I would definitely want Riley to be in Yolanda's care for any future boarding needs.”
