I grew up around dogs/cats of all kinds my whole life and have previous experience with dog sitting for friends while they were away on trips. I’ve also volunteered at my local animal shelter, where I spent time caring for and walking both dogs and cats. You don’t need to worry about traveling, as I have my own vehicle to travel. Because I work part time at a clinic, I’m available only afternoons and nights during the week. However, I'm available all day during the weekends. If you need a sitter, I would be unavailable to take them to my own house, but can stop in/stay at your place. Caring for an pet greatly depends on the pet themselves and the owner's desires. I love to play and be active with the animals if allowed. If a pet is older and doesn't like to be active for long, I enjoy just spending the quality time so they aren't lonely while their owner is away. I also always check in with the client about their pet's basic needs, such as how much they are fed and how often, how often they are let out, if there is any needs for any disabilities, etc.

About: We live in a large two story townhouse that provides lots of indoor play space. We live in a townhouse community that has a large common area in the front and back. We also have a deck that your pet can lounge on. We live near lots of walking paths and a dog park. We also live near the edge of town and close walking distance to the river. About: The two loves of my life were my dog, Abby, and my dog Bronx. Abby was a Siberian husky and Bronx a 15” lemon beagle. Bronx was part of my life for 20 years and just recently passed. I honestly can’t imagine a life without animals in it, and one day I wanna be able to reflect back on my life, knowing that I did as much as I could to help as many animals as possible, which is why becoming a part of ROVER is so appealing. I have an incredibly flexible work schedule that will enable me to schedule my work hours around my hours caring for animals. We received an evening update with photos and a video each night of Katniss' stay which showed us just how much fun she was having with their dog, Sadie.
