We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up. I think she even missed Krystal and Duke for a day or so after we returned home! Krystal kept us abreast of how Piper was doing and was responsive to our questions. I was amazed by how unfazed she was by the cold, wet weather that hung over the Fox Valley the week we were away; seemingly taking the additional 4 muddy paws in stride! Roxy is a senior Yorkie (13-14 years old) who has spent very little time away from us, yet she was obviously happy while at Gina’s as she ate and wasn’t shaking when we left her or picked her up. About: I have a passion for rescuing animals that need a home and would love to help take care of any cats or dogs. I have two dogs and two cats that are all rescues. I've also rescued two other dogs, in the past, that I had to put down and fostered a cat. I have experience with puppies and kittens to senior animals that needs medication several times throughout the day. Although I have a full time job during the week and have drill one weekend a month, in my free time I like to keep busy and am willing to help out! Vet checks and keeping up with any recommended treatment is a priority to me. I treat all my animals like members of the family. About: I've had three black labs in my life, who have turned me into a dog obsessed human! When I attend social gatherings, I am usually found hanging out with the dog giving it some loving attention. When I was younger I walked my neighbors' dogs. One of these dogs was deaf and I learned different ways to communicate with him. I am friendly and compassionate and will provide your pet with warmth and snuggles while you are away! I work full time during the week, but evenings and most weekends I'm free to care for dogs. Dog walking and House Sitting: I will meet you and your fur friend at your home - this will help establish trust and familiarity for the dog while you are there. At this point we can go over the safest entry into your home, routines for your pup, and any specific care requirements. Doggy Day Care and Boarding: You will meet at my home. Where I will bring my two dogs out to meet you and your pup (everybody leashed) and we can talk and sniff and ensure initial vibes are correct for everybody's safety. When we confirm that the dogs are showing no signs of threat/discomfort, we can move everybody into the gated area of our yard and let your dog off leash. We have lots of smells and space to roam about, so this should be an exciting little adventure for your friend. At this point you can share any specific care instructions and routines important to your dog's happiness.
About: I have taken care of many different types of animals in animal shelter settings and have worked at Blue Pearl Emergency Vet. This included potty breaks, play-time and giving them food and their medications when needed. My daughter's cat sleeps with me when I am there. My son's cats will lie on my computer. My family and clients' cats love to be brushed, pet, and given treats. I’m CPR trained and if needed, with calling you first, take your dog to my home town ER hospital (hope we never need to use that). Your dog must be potty trained for outside. My grandchildren all love dogs, they visit sometimes. I have been with dogs all my life. So rest assured I’ll take care of your dog while I take care of mine and my grandchildren. About: I have taken care of many of my friends pets since I was 12 which includes staying overnight at their homes when they are gone for weeks. I do long and short care sitting for pets. I love to spend time with pets and making sure they get the care they deserve. I am currently not working right now but will have a part time job soon. I will talk with the owners and work out a good schedule that will work best for all. Growing up we have used an invisible fence and radio collars to keep our dogs in our yard. We made sure to check in on them periodically while they were outside. While I'm taking care of my friends pets, I would play inside and outside with them, go on walks with them, and make sure they get the best care.

The pet owner decides when treats are allowed, if table scraps are allowed, and how much food to give. “Krystal's love of dogs is evident and her current bestie, Duke, was a welcoming partner! We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up. I think she even missed Krystal and Duke for a day or so after we returned home! Krystal kept us abreast of how Piper was doing and was responsive to our questions. I was amazed by how unfazed she was by the cold, wet weather that hung over the Fox Valley the week we were away; seemingly taking the additional 4 muddy paws in stride! “Gina was wonderful!! She loved Roxy as if she was her own fur baby. Roxy is a senior Yorkie (13-14 years old) who has spent very little time away from us, yet she was obviously happy while at Gina’s as she ate and wasn’t shaking when we left her or picked her up. “I have never boarded a pet before, and this was a great first experience! Korri and James treated my cat like one of their own. She had her own space, and they gave her plenty of attention. I really appreciated that I received at least one picture and update on how she was doing every day, and, if there were any questions about her care, I was asked. Babe was happy and relaxed. Even after I picked her up she was very calm. I know she received excellent care from genuine animal lovers! I would definitely take Babe back to Korri.
