About: Hey there! If my calendar doesn’t match what you need or with how far in advance to book- please reach out! I’m pretty flexible with that! I’ve taken care of pets for many many years! From my own to families and friends. There is NOTHING more that I love, than dogs!! My two labs I’ve raised since 6 weeks old. I talk to my two babies all day long. If I’m not with my boys, I’m constantly thinking of them and wanting to know how they are! If I run an errand I always want to call my dogs and talk to them and let them know momma will be right back! I am that crazy dog lady that tells my boys everything I do! I feel they need to know and I want them to feel loved! If I’m not snuggling my boys or playing with them I’m telling them stories or just loving on them! I will do anything for my babies and any dog in my care! The more the merrier!! My two labs are laid back and great with other dogs. They really don’t mind that they are around! Though I know they would love a playmate at times! Anyone can rely on me to check in on a pet, feed, take out and any other duties especially loving on them! I’m not one to just drop in and do the duty- I want to get all the snuggles and kisses and let them have some play time! Some friends and neighbors have been having me stay and take care of their pets or drop in care for 10+ years. There’s nothing I love more than caring for pets! They give me the happiness that my loved ones do because they are “my loved ones too!” Some people say I’m a dog whisper. I live and breathe for my 2 dogs I currently have. Ages 10 and 12! I enjoy seeing them run, play, tail wag and smile! I’m home with them daily and talk to them as if they can understand ;) they are my Velcro babies and I wouldn’t have it any other way!! Let me know if you would like to meet up and we can get things rolling and I can be a help with whatever it is that you need to make sure your pets are well cared for, happy, loved and having fun. “I recently returned from my 2nd multi-day hiking trip! Since I didn’t want to burden my sweet neighbor with kitty duties, I decided to take a chance on this thing called Rover.com. I specifically wanted to find someone that could spend the night in my home so kitty wouldn’t be lonely. (No judgement...my kitty just lost her companion of 10 years and it's really changed her.) Booooy, did I strike sitter GOLD! Kelly Flackey did an awesome job for me! She came over to meet us before the job. From the very first minute, she had a definite “read” on my kitty. Kitty is always a bit aggressive with other people. She won’t let anyone pet her. I swear Kelly is a cat whisperer, cuz she totally controlled the whole interaction. Kelly was so good with her while I was away from home...kitty actually slept next to her! ?? That’s so crazy to me, but totally awesome at the same time. I’m a happy pet mama!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I have been 8 years old. I have had dogs all of my life and am experienced with puppies and elderly dogs as well. I would love to play, walk, or even just provide companionship for your dog. I work full time but I am currently available part time Tuesday through Thursday to care for your pet. PMs are better for me but I can be flexible as well. My dogs are crate trained but only while I am away from home. They walk well on leashesand also have a nice fenced in area to play in my yard. I am comfortable caring for your pet to your preference and your pet's preference.

About: My mother Michele has retired from Rover and has handed me the reins so to speak. My name is Nikki, i grew up with all different kinds of animals and have volunteered with the humane society for many years. I specialize with helping feral/aggressive animals when i can find the time. My mother calls me the animal whisperer 😊 My husband Ben and i will take jobs together so we have some more flexibility. He also grew up with animals, he has specialized with training huskies in the past. We have an 11 year old daughter that loves to help play with animals. Even in youth she has had a lot of experience with animals and is very respectful and patient. One of her favorite activities is to exercise with animals, so occasionally if I am watching an animal that is good with kids and requires exercise, I will bring her along to join in the fun! (With your permission of course) We have have 3 fur babies of our own, Gypsy, Mila and Blu 😊 My husband and I work 8AM-4:30 Monday-Friday and have weekends off. We will need to schedule around our work during the week, but our weekends are usually open! I give all animals the amount of affection and time they need. An animal will tell you how much or little attention they would like, you can hear it through their reaction to you. Patience is always a must. I have taught my daughter this as well. You cannot properly care for an animal unless you understand their personality.

About: What sets me apart? When your pet is in my care (at my home or your own), I make them my priority from start to finish and treat them like my own. When guest dogs are staying in my home I sleep with them in our spare bedroom (no kenneling at night or during the day unless you request I do so) and if I'm house sitting you can rest assured that I will leave your home and pets as good or better than I found them. I never charge extra for walks, playing fetch, taking them on a car ride, or doing an activity they enjoy. I want your pet to feel like they're on vacation, too :) When I'm house sitting for a client I aim to be there the entire time, and since I work remotely (as long as you have quality wi-fi) I am able to work from your home - this means your pet gets even more time and attention, and if I do have to leave it will only be for a very short period and I will communicate this to you prior. If you do not need/want me there 24/7 we can discuss and adjust price based on what we agree upon during our meet and greet. I aim to be as flexible as possible to meet both your need and your budget... I know this is an investment! I am here because I love the idea of helping other pet-parents know their pets can be taken care of when they are busy or want to enjoy time away with loved ones. I am also here because anyone who knows me knows how much I love animals :) both my own and any animal I meet. I have experience with all sorts of animals and I'm equally as comfortable with both dogs and cats... big and small. I also have experience with tricky behaviors (aggressiveness, food guarding, potty training, learning to walk on a leash, teaching commands, etc.). I can administer medicine, communicate with vet offices effectively, and I am known for providing all of the updates/pictures/videos someone would like while I'm caring for their pet! For awareness, dogs and cats are kept separate in our home. We do this for safety :) There is an underground fence for our dogs and this is an option if your dogs are collar trained. If not, no problem - I am happy to take pets out on a leash. Safety is my top priority, so I will strictly follow the instructions given for your pet(s). When it comes to inside the home, I will closely monitor all play/interactions and if needed, I will separate and/or give primarily 1 on 1 time with your pet if that is what they require. Please note: if you live more than 45 miles from my address I do charge a 1x flat fee of $50.00 while house sitting. Similarly, if you live more than 25 miles from my address I charge a 1x flat fee of $12.00 for dog walking and/or drop-in visits. Thank you for your understanding!
