“Christina, was very accommodating when we had an emergency family funeral to attend. The initial planned day was for a meet & greet but we needed emergency care for Willow & thankfully she had room. She's very good with dogs and we had talked with a couple other people coicindentally who also had their dogs kept by Christina with positive things to say. There were nuances that we hadn't remembered to mention & after communicating those with Christina, made a little more sense as to why our dog acted the way she did. It was unfortunate that our dog didn't have introduction to the setting prior to this as I'm pretty sure she was a bit overwhelmed with a different caregiver, house, dogs etc. We've reviewed many other dog sitters and Christina filled all of our desired qualities. About: I have taken care of cats since I was a child- so over 25 years now! My family has always had cats and I’ve been able to make sure they are fed, watered, groomed, and get lots of love and playtime. About: I have owned cats my entire life. My very first pet was a Siamese cat named Emma that I got for Christmas when I was 7 years old. About: I've cared for a total of 8 kitties in my lifetime, from the daily feeding and litter scooping to claw trimming to intensive palliative care, and the 12 weeks of injections for Minky's FIP (she is totally healthy now!), and Poppy's twice daily epilepsy meds. She sent lots of photos , she brought in a package for me, she even made it over during a lot of snow when travel was difficult. She came by twice so I could show her how to open our difficult front door and give her the keys, she came all the way back to drop them off to me when I got home from traveling. About: I live along the shore of Lake Superior, about 10 minutes north of Duluth. I grew up with cats and dogs around all the time. More recently I lived with a roommate who had 3 dogs (small and medium-sized) who I cared for during the day all week. Love animals of all kinds. I try to walk 4-5 miles each day on my quiet dirt road and also along Lake Superior right by my house. I work remotely and am basically always home, so your pet will have their needs taken care of! I work remotely and have no set work schedule, so I'm very flexible. I try to get outside and walk every day. I also have trails by my house to walk on. I have no pets and I live by myself. About: Living on a farm, I have a lot of experience interacting with animals of all kinds. Running a farm of any size is not a one person job so my family is a big part of my life. I can’t imagine a better place to live doing something I love. Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine. Whether it is feeding and watering our chickens and cows or grooming our dogs, I work hard to ensure our animals are cared for. I am a stay at home mom so your four legged friends will rarely be left alone. I work hard to follow any instructions owners may give me. About: I have two cats of my own. My tuxedo lu has been around since I was super little, I’ve carried her with me everywhere i go! My fluffy boy moo was a rescue a few years ago, he’s a big sweetie. I have a dog named ollie that I share custody of with my mom. he comes with me on all of the road trips and hikes. I’ve sat for family members and people in my area since I was 15. I also have reptile experience caring for chameleons and snakes. I’m here for any pet! Taking care of animals is my passion ☺️ I do photography full time so my schedule stays pretty flexible. I’m typically available on holidays! I don’t mind to travel a little for your furry friends, so don’t worry too much if you’re far away! I love spending most of my time with my cats. About: I have grown up with dogs all my life, ranging in breeds from dalmatians to terriers to labs to shepards. I am able to go for runs with active dogs or give company to the elderly ones. About: I have taken care of both cats and dogs since I was born! My family always had at least one dog and now I have two crazy Springer Spaniels to keep me on my toes. One of my previous cats required insulin injections, and I am experienced in giving those if need be! Through 4-H I trained dogs for 5 years and am capable of handling many stressful situations, should they arise! I work a swing shift at the hospital in Duluth so my availability does vary but I will do my best to keep my calendar up to date! I will take care of your fur babies as if they were my own! “Christina, was very accommodating when we had an emergency family funeral to attend. The initial planned day was for a meet & greet but we needed emergency care for Willow & thankfully she had room. She's very good with dogs and we had talked with a couple other people coicindentally who also had their dogs kept by Christina with positive things to say. There were nuances that we hadn't remembered to mention & after communicating those with Christina, made a little more sense as to why our dog acted the way she did. It was unfortunate that our dog didn't have introduction to the setting prior to this as I'm pretty sure she was a bit overwhelmed with a different caregiver, house, dogs etc. We've reviewed many other dog sitters and Christina filled all of our desired qualities. “I can’t say enough great things about how fantastic Rachel and her family were with our dog, Larry. He was there for 5 nights over the 4th of July Holiday and had the time of his life. Rachel was so good about sending lots of pictures that we really felt like we had a good idea of how much fun he was having. Rachel’s family welcomed Larry like he was one of their own and their 4 dogs did a good job of showing Larry how life on the farm works! They even took him hiking at the nearby Pattison state park and he played a lot of fetch in their meadow and swam in the stream on their property. About: I have never lived without having both a dog and a cat in my house. Current residents include 2 dogs and 2 cats, but my family has fostered cats/kittens for about 8 years and dogs/puppies for about 5. I have taken care of neighbor's pets for both drop-in visits and extended care periods. I am currently in Graduate School and missing my animals so I would love to come visit yours!! I'm currently taking classes for my Graduate program Monday-Wednesdays, but I am available those evenings and the entire day Thursday-Sundays. I would love to use pet care as a break from homework! I have experience with animals with many different personalities, and I have developed the skill to adjust my approach to each pet to match what they need from a caretaker.
