About: I've been taking care of dogs on my own since middle school. We've always had a family dog in the household as well as friends and neighbors who would need help with their little ones. I have a BS in Animal Science, have worked as an emergency vet assistant/triage tech for the last 3 years, and have some professional dog training experience. About: Practically my whole life I've taken care of kitties. I've had 8 cats total in my lifetime, each of them living long lasting lives. Currently 4 of those 8 are still alive and healthy! I have two senior cats, both 15, and 2 younger cats, one 8 and one 2, all female. I know how to give oral medication, and you can guide me through injections if needed. I've cleaned plenty of litter boxes in my life too. I currently occasionally care for my neighbors kitties when they go out of town since I'm always around so often. After being referred to them, when I reached out, I had let Frank know I was having a hard time locating them in the Rover app. He went out of his way to help me get things going. Once we were able to set up a time for an initial meet and greet, due to a really bad storm that was rolling in, they were flexible with changing the time for us. That’s when we got to see the fantastic location (their house and property), where they take care of the dogs. While we were getting to know them, they were getting to know our dogs, and asked lots of great questions to make sure they understood how we approach our pups. In addition to their fenced in yard, they have acres and acres of land and are very happy to take dogs out for walks to let them burn their energy. A couple days later, our dog spent the day with them and everything went really really well, and our dogs were so very tired out when we got them back. We even got lots of pictures while we were gone for the day which we really appreciated. Frankie and Julie really understand what it is to be a pet owner and strive to treat our dogs as their own. Again, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for day-to-day dog sitting, and we are looking forward to using them for an upcoming vacation.”

We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up. I think she even missed Krystal and Duke for a day or so after we returned home! Krystal kept us abreast of how Piper was doing and was responsive to our questions. I was amazed by how unfazed she was by the cold, wet weather that hung over the Fox Valley the week we were away; seemingly taking the additional 4 muddy paws in stride! This is to give you peace of mind before getting on the plane or in the car for your trip! We are available weekdays, weekends, and holidays! Our jobs our flexible so we are able to provide care at a variety of times! Your pets are our top priority when they are in our care! We provide dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, doggy day care and boarding! Why our boarding/doggy daycare is unique: 1. We only care for dogs from ONE household at a time so your pup will be the solo dog or be with their own pack. 2. We have dedicated half of our home to boarding/daycare for your pup(s)! They get to sleep in bed, be on furniture, and cuddle up while we watch TV. They will get hours and hours of dedicated attention and pets! 3. We live in the country next to the Wiouwash Trail. Your pup will get at least one if not more walks per day! 4. We have tie outs for outdoor activity and will take them around our half acre yard to get plenty of sniffs in! 5. We do have a cat but she lives on the other side of our home, so again giving your dog the one-on-one care they deserve. We require that boarding/daycare clients are good with cats though on the off chance they would get in by her! We do also require that boarding/daycare clients be crate trained for times when we are working or would need to leave the house :). Please let us know if you have any questions!
