I work from home three days a week and love to go on short and long walks throughout the day- would like to add a furry friend on those walks! 3 days a week (typically Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) but this can be flexible. If boarding- I prefer the weekend so I can be with your animal all day every day uninterrupted- but can take week day over night depending on the evening. I have a large fenced in yard in a quiet neighborhood. I live right off a trail which I walk frequently. I have a sweet old black lab who has made friends with every kind visitor. I have a bunny who is also free roaming but can be caged if needed. If visiting- I prefer to take animals on walks and give quick feedings (quick visits inside if needed) for my comfort of being at a clients at home.

About: I have had pets since I lived with my parents. I've always pretty much had a dog growing up and my husband and I have a Springer now and also a cat! I have experience giving dogs diabetes shots, feeding, walking, picking up after, playing with, and it course cuddling with them. Since I was a little girl, dogs and cats have held a special place in my heart, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Anyone who knows me personally knows how deeply I love animals and how important they are to me. My own dogs are truly part of my family—they’re my babies—and I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, and family members regularly rely on me to watch and board their beloved pets when they travel. I enjoy spending time with animals, whether that’s going for daily walks, playing, providing companionship, or simply making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. As a nurse who is currently taking a break from my career, I have the time and flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. My mornings start with potty breaks, breakfast, and plenty of love and attention for the pets in my care. After a relaxing coffee break, we head out for a daily walk, with the distance tailored to each pet’s age, energy level, and abilities—anywhere from a leisurely stroll to a 1–3 mile adventure. The rest of the day includes playtime, cuddles, companionship, and ensuring your pet feels comfortable and secure. I understand how much pet parents miss their furry family members, so I’m happy to send photos and videos to keep you updated and give you peace of mind. Afternoons are typically a time for rest and relaxation, followed by supper and another walk in the evening if needed. Because I am home throughout the day, your pet will receive plenty of attention, supervision, exercise, and affection. My goal is to make their stay feel as comfortable, safe, and loving as possible—just like they are part of my own family. Whether caring for your pet in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. While we do not have a fenced yard, I am committed to responsible pet care and will always use a leash when outdoors—without exception. I understand that pets are cherished family members, and I take every precaution to keep them safe. My home is shared with two friendly, low-key dogs who enjoy daily walks, relaxing in the sunshine, and plenty of couch cuddles. They are accustomed to being around other pets and help create a calm, welcoming environment. Whether your pet enjoys activity and adventure or prefers quiet companionship and affection, I will do my best to make them feel comfortable, loved, and right at home.
