I would always take care of the neighbors' animals when they went out of town growing up, and have pet sat for many family members and friends. I do have a few dogs on the property (an 8 year old pug and a one year old great swiss mountain dog) so we would need to make sure everyone gets a long first. For dog walks, I would plan walk just your pooch to ensure they get the proper attention they deserve.

About: I have always loved animals. Before having my own dogs, I used to borrow a friend's dog to hang out with. I have past experience working in daycares, shelters, and emergency vets. If needed, I am comfortable administering medication (oral and injection). Let me know how I can help you. My schedule is pretty open during the summer. I understand how to approach new animals and understand the a willingness to go slow and allow the animal to make a move I'd often the best way to ensure they feel safe. I currently have no other job and nothing going on for the summer. Ensuring that I am available everyday and most hours of that day. Ensuring that my animals have plenty of food and water, as well as taking them out or cleaning a litter box so they can use the bathroom and feel at ease. In addition I play with my animal and give them affection when they desire it.

“My dogs mean everything to me and it can be difficult to find a dog sitter who understands the assignment. Allison understood the assignment. My girls are 10 years apart in age are different in temperament and personality. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to care for them but I never know if that is different in the eyes of the sitter. Allison welcomed them both into her home and cared for them just as I would. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. She was also flexible in drop off time as I had a brain fart when initially booking the stay. I will definitely choose Allison again for future stays!”
