About: All my life I have had pets, dogs, cats, hamsters, and even a ferret named Simba. I have had two dogs from puppy to seniors and reaching the rainbow bridge. I have two labs now and some farm animals. My husband and I have raised two boys and he is retired and we are just wanting to do something on the side we love to stay busy. I work from home or anywhere so I can stay with your pets in the safety of their own home or they are welcome to stay with us on the farm as long as they get along with other dogs. I cannot board cats however due to my dogs lack of exposure. In your home I would keep them close to their usual routine and make sure all their needs are met and patiently comfort their anxiety over missing you. In my home we have over an acre of fenced area perfect for dogs to run and play. I again would accommodate their schedules and give lots of love and attention. We have baby gates that keep pets with us in living area. If they are used to sleeping with humans I am totally okay with that, whatever they prefer.

About: Retired Chiropractor and wife who have been owned by pets all our lives. Currently have a senior labrador, juvenile labrador and orange tabby cat (raised with dogs). Wife and I are both retired. We are home most of the time, available to our fur-babies. Yard is 4' tall fenced hillside property: plenty of room to romp and lots of stuff to sniff. While living in Maui, we trained service dogs for the handicapped. First, of course, we have to introduce your "kid" to ours, letting everyone get aquainted and comfortable. One of our dogs is night-crate trained, the other, older dog, is very sedate, yet still quite alert. The cat was raised with dogs, plays with them and will quickly establish who is "boss". Since my wife and I are both retired from professions we performed for decades, our time is completely our own. We have no committments that require us to be gone from home, other than for shopping or normal personal needs. Our back yard is fenced and leading to that, we have 1200 sq feet of decking that permits dogs to play on level space or to lay in the sun. Both of us being retired, we have very flexible schedules, which allows us the time to spend attending to and focusing on dogs in our care. Our yard is fully fenced and combines grassy and bark-topped soil as well as treed hillside terrain for our dog to introduce the environment to.

I have 6 current clients that I pet sit for. Duties include, letting dogs out to go potty, taking for walks, feeding and staying overnight as needed. I can even bring in the mail and water your plants as needed. I prefer to work in Vancouver but am willing to travel to ridgefield, camas and battleground as well. Travel to Portland will cost an additional $10 each day for travel. I work part time but have a flexible schedule and can work around your pets needs. I am available for overnights m-s except for when traveling on vacation. I love taking your dogs for walks and playing them at home. About: I have 3 dogs ranging from 1-10 1/2 years of age. We have done the puppy stage three times so I’m used to that and willing to help. I know how stressful it can be if you need to go out of town and still have a puppy at home that needs a little more attention, let me help you with this! I’m not afraid of any dogs I just need to meet them first before agreeing to a job just so that we know it’ll be a good fit. I’m currently working full time 12 hr days. So I will not schedule myself when I’m working unless of course this works for you. I’m just looking to see if I can help some people while they travel or need someone to come and check on their pets while they are away. I currently live on 2.5 acres so having dogs come to my house will not be a good fit. We have 3 dogs and sometimes sit for family and friends and their dogs come over and we closely watch them while outside so they don’t venture off into the woods. Right now I’m just looking to see if I can help with checking in on pets or walking them or even possibly house sitting if need be. I know how important routine and familiarity is important so I would like to meet the pets with the owners before agreeing to a job and this way we can make sure the pets are comfortable with me and also we can go over dos and don’ts with your pets.
About: I have been the family, family friend, coworker, and word to mouth pet sitter since I was a teenager! I have done a variety of gigs! Cats, Dogs, Farm animals and those range from house sitting, boarding pets at my own home, to stop ins/ daily visits. I have extensive experience caring for dogs with special needs, medical needs, senior dogs, and dogs that are on hospice care. He is well socialized with dogs and a polite house guest. I have lived in a dog daycare/boarding situation, so I am very used to keeping dogs separate and I am more than happy to keep him separate and he would stay in a crate. Normally I wouldn’t bring my personal dog, but due to several reasons we are a package deal.** I am home almost 24/7, aside from an occasional appointment, so my day revolves solely around caring for any and all animals. I have a very flexible routine, so I can cater specifically to clients needs and time frames. I treat every pet like they are our own and give them endless attention (I might spoil them a bit). About: All my life I have had pets, dogs, cats, hamsters, and even a ferret named Simba. I have had two dogs from puppy to seniors and reaching the rainbow bridge. I have two labs now and some farm animals. My husband and I have raised two boys and he is retired and we are just wanting to do something on the side we love to stay busy. I work from home or anywhere so I can stay with your pets in the safety of their own home or they are welcome to stay with us on the farm as long as they get along with other dogs. I cannot board cats however due to my dogs lack of exposure. In your home I would keep them close to their usual routine and make sure all their needs are met and patiently comfort their anxiety over missing you. In my home we have over an acre of fenced area perfect for dogs to run and play. I again would accommodate their schedules and give lots of love and attention. We have baby gates that keep pets with us in living area. If they are used to sleeping with humans I am totally okay with that, whatever they prefer.
