As he is newly adopted, a puppy (at 7 mos), was abused in his very early puppyhood, and suffers some ongoing anxiety, to say I was nervous about how he was going to do was an understatement. Upon meeting Rachel at the meet & greet, I was instantly at ease. She has a calm and soothing demeanor, and was such a perfect fit for him, that I could not believe our luck. It felt like the universe conspired to make sure SHE would be his first sitter, so he can continue to learn that the world has many kind and loving people in it. Rachel was a proactive communicator, sharing pictures and updates, sometimes almost at the exact moment I found myself thinking, "I wonder what they're up to?" I was able to relax and put my focus where it needed to be: with my extended family for my mom's memorial service. I cannot express what a gift it was to not have to worry about this sweet little guy for my first time away from him. As I look ahead to future travel, I'll check in with Rachel first.”

About: I have owned and cared for pets for all of my life but it’s been a big part of my life over the last several years. Friends have dropped off pets at my home on 1.5acres, close into Woodinville. My own pets are very, happily socialized to enjoy visiting pets. There is a large fenced, fully landscaped yard to wander and always attention, pat’s and treats to go around. I will be working part time so no more than a few hrs away from the home a couple days a week. Fun times ahead! I have a large, fenced yard and a monitored doggy door to allow for potty brakes and free roaming. My dogs are well socialized and a little on the older side so tend to just hang out during the day.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a puppy myself. I currently have a 2-year-old active and playful blue heeler mix that I've raised from when she was 3 months old. I am very active (looooove walks), strong (able to handle strong pulling or heavy dogs), and playful. I have a special place in my heart for large dogs (both young and young-at-heart), but all dogs are welcome. I also love high energy pups! Our sweet family golden retriever/lab rescue doggie passed away in 2018 at age 10.5, so I also have experience with medical care for older dogs. I have two dog-loving young kids at home. We'd be honored to take care of your sweet doggie! I work from home, so I'm flexible to come play and walk your pups throughout the day. My preferred schedule is last mornings (between 9-12) and afternoons before 3:30 pm, but I'm willing to coordinate with you for what supports you and your pup best. If you're booking a stay at my home, I have a large fenced yard with an energetic and sweet 2-year-old intermediately trained dog to keep them company. She is also crate trained! About: I have always had dogs ever since I was a baby and I love spending time with them and giving them all the love and attention they need! I grew up with a bull mastiff named belle and took care of her even in her older age and I currently have 2 golden retrievers who are around 6 years old but I helped take care of them when they were puppies as well. I feel comfortable helping senior dogs with any medicine, help moving, or anything else they may need and I'm super comfortable and patient with puppies! I also have 2 cats and have also been around cats since I was a baby and love taking care of them as well! I love playing and being around big dogs but small is great too! :) I am currently a high school senior but I do online classes through running start so I am pretty much home all day and I go away for practice later in the day but I honestly have a pretty open and free schedule during the week! Since I have a flexible schedule with school I am able to stay for a while if your animal needs extra attention or company! My mom and me also run a rover business boarding dogs at our house for the last few years as well so I have gotten to take care of lots of different kind of dogs! “Rachel was able to watch Aspen for a last-minute booking when prior care fell through. As he is newly adopted, a puppy (at 7 mos), was abused in his very early puppyhood, and suffers some ongoing anxiety, to say I was nervous about how he was going to do was an understatement. Upon meeting Rachel at the meet & greet, I was instantly at ease. She has a calm and soothing demeanor, and was such a perfect fit for him, that I could not believe our luck. It felt like the universe conspired to make sure SHE would be his first sitter, so he can continue to learn that the world has many kind and loving people in it. Rachel was a proactive communicator, sharing pictures and updates, sometimes almost at the exact moment I found myself thinking, "I wonder what they're up to?" I was able to relax and put my focus where it needed to be: with my extended family for my mom's memorial service. I cannot express what a gift it was to not have to worry about this sweet little guy for my first time away from him. As I look ahead to future travel, I'll check in with Rachel first.”

She kept us updated regularly with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that both Romeo and Leo were happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their stay. When we picked them up, they came back healthy, relaxed, and in great spirits. What really stood out was how accommodating Monica was with our constantly changing travel schedule. We also loved that she only boards a small number of dogs at a time (just two), so they get plenty of attention and care.
