As he is newly adopted, a puppy (at 7 mos), was abused in his very early puppyhood, and suffers some ongoing anxiety, to say I was nervous about how he was going to do was an understatement. Upon meeting Rachel at the meet & greet, I was instantly at ease. She has a calm and soothing demeanor, and was such a perfect fit for him, that I could not believe our luck. It felt like the universe conspired to make sure SHE would be his first sitter, so he can continue to learn that the world has many kind and loving people in it. Rachel was a proactive communicator, sharing pictures and updates, sometimes almost at the exact moment I found myself thinking, "I wonder what they're up to?" I was able to relax and put my focus where it needed to be: with my extended family for my mom's memorial service. I cannot express what a gift it was to not have to worry about this sweet little guy for my first time away from him. As I look ahead to future travel, I'll check in with Rachel first.”

About: Right now, I have 2 pets in my life. My parent's dog Ada, a 6 year old mutt who loves to cuddle, and my cat, Morgana, a 4 year old tuxedo who loves to play! I grew up with dogs and I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, dogs with cancer and other illnesses, and helped a dog through a seizure. I also have volunteered at an animal shelter (Homeward Pets) and spent time with dogs of many different ages, sizes, temperaments, and medical needs. During this time I fed the dogs, cleaned their kennels, bathed them, and played with them. I have also lived with two cats of very different personalities so I also have experience feeding & playing with cats of different ages and temperaments. I recently graduated from the University of Washington with my Master's in Museum Studies. As I'm trying to get a job, I'm looking for ways to increase my part-time income. I think it’s important to keep things as much the same as possible for your pets in order to decrease stress so I will always follow any house rules. If that means no dogs on the couch, then no dogs on the couch. Or not feeding them human food, I’ll make sure they only get their food no matter how cute they’re looking! I will also make sure I spend no less than 2 hours at an owner’s home playing with your animals where all my attention is on them. I do know pet-related first aid and dog CPR although I’ve luckily never had to use it. I will make sure to give regular updates to the owner and contact them in the case of any emergencies. I want to create a loving and safe environment for your pets so in trusting me with your pets, I can promise that they will be loved and cared for!

About: I’ve taken care of cats for most of my life. I was lucky enough to have one of my cats for 21 years so I have experience with a senior kitty. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for 4 years where I split time between the cat house and kennels. About: I have owned and cared for pets for all of my life but it’s been a big part of my life over the last several years. Friends have dropped off pets at my home on 1.5acres, close into Woodinville. My own pets are very, happily socialized to enjoy visiting pets. There is a large fenced, fully landscaped yard to wander and always attention, pat’s and treats to go around. I will be working part time so no more than a few hrs away from the home a couple days a week. Fun times ahead! About: I bring a lifetime of experience in caring for animals and live on 10 acres of wooded pastures with 3 horses, dogs, cats, and a house rabbit. My personal pack of four rescue dogs get along well with any new dog I introduce to the family. I have been fostering dogs for a local rescue organization for several years, gaining hands-on experience with many breeds and ages of dogs. I specialize in puppy care and training and have successfully provided basic training and care for numerous foster dogs. I have experience caring for elderly dogs and am skilled in giving medication and insulin. This is an all inclusive experience for dogs! Here your dog will enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor playtime in my private dog park which offers a peaceful setting away from any traffic noise. This is true farm privacy with a ten acre buffer and plenty of natural enrichment including a natural creek, pond, and wooded pastures. Dogs will have opportunities to participate in activities like sniff walks, barn exploring, and pack walks. For puppies I keep them on a schedule for potty training, socializing, and naps. Additionally, I have a dedicated small dog area and small dogs get to enjoy couch time in the evenings! All activities are included for the boarding price. If you desire an exit bath before your dog goes home please let me know. 🐾 I enjoy working on agility training with one of my dogs who is very athletic and to expand my training knowledge, I continue to work with local dog trainers. Beyond my work with animals, I raised two children and dedicated 18 years to volunteering in our local school district, where I passed multiple background checks and supported various programs and events in schools and classrooms. My property is quiet and away from any traffic yet located just a mile from a major highway making it easy to get to for drop off and pick up! I am home everyday and spend most of my time with the animals in my care. I am happy to be flexible on timing for drop off or pick up windows and can pop in for drop in visits to give you a helping hand. In my home pets will be fed twice a day and have off leash time to relax or play with friends. If they are crate trained they will have their own crate to retreat to and dog beds to rest on. My dogs enjoy meeting new friends and provide a comforting pack to show new dogs the ropes. Outside, I always work on name recall with new dogs on leash and when they get to know me they will have supervised off leash time. Additionally, your dog may enjoy a walk to our horse barn and discover a world of sensory enrichment for their nose! I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and birds many times throughout my life. I have experience administering medications and love to play with animals. I look forward to meeting your furry and feathered friends! I am a 37-year-old professional swing dance instructor, classical vocal coach, and piano teacher. I received my Bachelor's degree in Choral-Vocal Music Education from Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at CSULB. I studied Molecular Biology for 3 years before deciding to pursue teaching dance and music. I work freelance, so my schedule is flexible to tend to pets' needs throughout the day. I have worked in a variety of settings, including restaurants, music halls, recording studios, summer camps, dance studios, tutoring, and babysitting. I enjoy classic movies, gardening, crossword puzzles, camping, and cooking. I rely on the client to set the ground rules for their own home and pets, and adhere to those guidelines. Every pet parent has a good feel for their pet’s needs and care, and I look forward to learning about each unique pet I get to care for.
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a puppy myself. I currently have a 2-year-old active and playful blue heeler mix that I've raised from when she was 3 months old. I am very active (looooove walks), strong (able to handle strong pulling or heavy dogs), and playful. I have a special place in my heart for large dogs (both young and young-at-heart), but all dogs are welcome. I also love high energy pups! Our sweet family golden retriever/lab rescue doggie passed away in 2018 at age 10.5, so I also have experience with medical care for older dogs. I have two dog-loving young kids at home. We'd be honored to take care of your sweet doggie! I work from home, so I'm flexible to come play and walk your pups throughout the day. My preferred schedule is last mornings (between 9-12) and afternoons before 3:30 pm, but I'm willing to coordinate with you for what supports you and your pup best. For walks, I'm very active, strong, and calm under pressure. If you're booking a stay at my home, I have a large fenced yard with an energetic and sweet 2-year-old intermediately trained dog to keep them company. She is also crate trained! I work from home and will keep a good eye on your pup.

About: I’ve cared for all ages of dogs ranging from puppies (6 weeks and up preferably) to seniors and I’m very comfortable administering medications and treatments. I can lift up to 50lbs and I’m familiar with dogs that have mobility issues too! My dog went to heaven about a year ago, I miss caring for him and working with Rover is a great option until I’m ready to adopt again one day :) Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have! I have the option to be home all day if necessary, or (of course with your consent) take Puppers with me on a car ride (more details later) We live in a very dog friendly community, they recently built an amazing dog park with lots of activities and fresh water. There are paths throughout my community Which makes exploring on walks super fun!

About: I’ve raised my own Golden Retriever since he was 8 weeks old, so I have real daily experience caring for a dog through every stage of growth and routine. Through caring for him, I’ve become very familiar with feeding schedules, walks, exercise, playtime, grooming, and making sure a dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I truly love dogs and understand how important it is to treat them with patience, attention, and affection. I know that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I always try to make them feel as comfortable and cared for as possible. I am home full-time, so I have a very flexible schedule and can provide dogs with plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to take them out every 2–4 hours for walks or potty breaks, depending on their usual routine and needs. My neighborhood also has a nearby trail, which is perfect for walks and extra exercise. Since I am home most of the day, I can give dogs a safe, comfortable, and well-supervised environment. I am also available on weekends and holidays, which makes it easier to accommodate different schedules and last-minute care needs. I offer a clean, calm, and pet-friendly home where dogs can feel safe and comfortable. My home is non-smoking, located in a quiet neighborhood, and everyone in my household is very friendly and welcoming to dogs. We do not currently have any other pets, which can be a great fit for dogs who do best in a peaceful environment. We also have a yard for outdoor time, and I always prioritize supervision, safety, and each dog’s comfort. My goal is to make every dog feel cared for, relaxed, and at home.

Upon meeting Rachel at the meet & greet, I was instantly at ease. She has a calm and soothing demeanor, and was such a perfect fit for him, that I could not believe our luck. It felt like the universe conspired to make sure SHE would be his first sitter, so he can continue to learn that the world has many kind and loving people in it. Rachel was a proactive communicator, sharing pictures and updates, sometimes almost at the exact moment I found myself thinking, "I wonder what they're up to?" I was able to relax and put my focus where it needed to be: with my extended family for my mom's memorial service. I cannot express what a gift it was to not have to worry about this sweet little guy for my first time away from him. As I look ahead to future travel, I'll check in with Rachel first.”
