I have automatic feeders due to the cats being in strict prescription food and always worry the feeders will get off program but she was easily able to navigate them so the cats got the food they were suppose to. About: Hi there! As a lifelong dog person, I have a lot of experience - I have cared for dogs weighing 8 to over 100lbs, and from 6 week old puppies to seniors. I am experienced in dogs with complex situations such as reactivity, fearfulness & timidness, and significant physical impairments. Currently, I own two rescue dogs - a 3 year old female German shepherd/malinois mix, and a 2 year old male Aussie who was born deaf & blind. So when I say the “hard to handle” pups are my speciality, I mean it! I would be happy to take your dog on a walk or local hike, to play outside with them, to work/train (my GSD/malinois girl requires regular scent work, agility, and intense variations on fetch to stay sane), or to simply give them affection. I don’t at all mind working with dogs that take time to win over, or that need extra TLC. All dogs are good dogs, and I can promise you that to me, they are all precious cargo - and will be handled as such in my care. I am a music teacher, and primarily work afternoons & evenings - so earlier in the day I have free time. I am also the mother of a young child, so am unavailable on weekends when he is home from school. “Angela is so kind and clearly loves dogs. She took my hounds out for a walk, which can be difficult as we've not done the best leash training and they lose their minds when they see it's walk time. But Angela took them for a little extra time to work off that energy and when they returned my boy was prancing and tired and even my young hound was calm and satisfied and klonked out afterwards. Looking forward to more walks with Angela.”
About: I have 11 years of experience raising and caring for my Maltese, Cooper, who was truly part of my family. Sadly, he passed away almost a year ago during my first year of nursing school at Seattle University, and I have missed having a furry companion around ever since. Since I live in a studio and have my final year of nursing school, getting a pet is not something that is attainable for me right now. So I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and give them the same love, attention, and patience I gave Cooper. I’m excited to help fellow pet owners while also getting some much needed puppy love! 🐾❤️ I’m a full-time student, so my availability will vary. Since it’s currently summer, my schedule is fairly open. However, once the school year starts, my availability will change. I’ll update the app with my set schedule at the beginning of each quarter. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, and I take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pet very seriously. I’m dependable, attentive, and patient, and I will always prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort. I also believe in clear communication, so I’ll keep you updated and make sure I follow your instructions and your pet’s usual routine.
