About: I am new to Rover, but have worked in the Animal Health Industry as a Veterinarian Technician (animal nurse) and outside sales/customer service for the past 30+ years. I have experience with most animals from reptiles to cattle and currently have a little 5 acre hobby farm with a horse, goats, chickens, dog and cat. I have also done fostering in my local community. I am very flexible with days you need pet care. My days are filled with animal care of my own/yours, walking/hiking, gardening and home/property projects. Your pets will be treated with great care while spending time with me. I have a gated 5 acre hobby farm with 1 acre fully fenced area around my home. My farm animals are fenced in separately for safety. I also have 3 acres of wooded trails for walking. I am able to provide care and exercise depending on your pets needs and will only accept dogs that are not aggressive towards people or other dogs for a positive/fun experience. There are two large porches for either sunning or shade and I do have air conditioning. Please be up to date on vaccinations (including kennel cough), worming and monthly flea control. I live in a quiet/peaceful valley. Please no excessive barkers and bring their food, treats and special toys. Please allow enough time for a 1st time meet and greet prior to finalizing the booking. I'm able to administer medication if your dog is on meds. I'm good with puppies or seniors, and everything in between! When I'm with your four legged family member you can rest assured that they are well taken care of and are not bored. There is no breed I won't take, as long as they are not a safety concern. I am dedicated 100% to my canine clients. Walking, playing and cooking for them is what I do! I consider this my calling, my passion and my career. When I have canine guests, We walk four times a day. I have toys galore and dog brushes if they like being brushed. I prepare home cooked meals, unless they are on a specific type of food or diet. I administer oral meds when necessary. All sofa and dog bed covers are laundered weekly at a minimum, and/or after each guest goes home. I will update you daily with photos and video of your pup's day.

She is so in touch with animals in general and dogs in particular that any worries about my pup just melt away when he is in her care. He has a great time with her and she maintains his schedule and training just like at home. This particular trip had some hiccups at the end, changing when we'd be back in town. Mandy was flexible and kind with the shifting schedule, we are so grateful and truly appreciate having such a wonderful dog sitter nearby!”

About: I am new to Rover, but have worked in the Animal Health Industry as a Veterinarian Technician (animal nurse) and outside sales/customer service for the past 30+ years. Along with the background check Rover provides, I also have a Business License and I am Insured/Bonded. Animal care is my only business/job. I have experience with most animals from reptiles to cattle and currently have a little 5 acre hobby farm with a horse, goats, chickens, dog and cat. I have also done fostering in my local community. I am very flexible with days you need pet care. My days are filled with animal care of my own/yours, walking/hiking, gardening and home/property projects. Your pets will be treated with great care while spending time with me. I have a gated 5 acre hobby farm with 1 acre fully fenced area around my home. My farm animals are fenced in separately for safety. I also have 3 acres of wooded trails for walking. I am able to provide care and exercise depending on your pets needs and will only accept dogs that are not aggressive towards people or other dogs for a positive/fun experience. There are two large porches for either sunning or shade and I do have air conditioning. Please be up to date on vaccinations (including kennel cough), worming and monthly flea control. I live in a quiet/peaceful valley. Please no excessive barkers and bring their food, treats and special toys. Please allow enough time for a 1st time meet and greet prior to finalizing the booking. “We booked with Kat after another local boarder cancelled last minute. I'm happy that she did. Mochi was extremely happy with his stay at Kat's! He had a great time making new friends, running and playing in the large yard. Kat kept us updated daily with photos or video. She also had an extra dogloo for him to sleep in (since it was a bit cold). On our next vacation, we'll definitely bring Mochi back to stay with Kat again.”
