“W usually have friends and/or a dog resort host our dog when we are way (from a weekend to a couple of weeks), but this time around we had to leave for a full month and we had to go a different direction: Rover. We were quite hesitant, this being the first time we would be away from our dog for a month, and also being the first time using Rover, but luckily we found Mandy. Mandy is super responsive, friendly and dependable, and she clearly loves animals. She made us feel very comfortable and safe. During our leave, she periodically shared images and videos and it was clear our dog had a great time with her (and her dog) and was well taken care of. Mandy also offered to come pick our dog up from our place and bring him back home after the stay (for a fee, but still, super convenient). Overall, we are extremely happy with Mandy and we look forward to the next time we will again need her service! We cannot recommend her enough! Thank you Mandy!”

About: I am new to Rover, but have worked in the Animal Health Industry as a Veterinarian Technician (animal nurse) and outside sales/customer service for the past 30+ years. Along with the background check Rover provides, I also have a Business License and I am Insured/Bonded. Animal care is my only business/job. I have experience with most animals from reptiles to cattle and currently have a little 5 acre hobby farm with a horse, goats, chickens, dog and cat. I am very flexible with days you need pet care. My days are filled with animal care of my own/yours, walking/hiking, gardening and home/property projects. Your pets will be treated with great care while spending time with me. I have a gated 5 acre hobby farm with 1/2 acre fully fenced area around my home. My farm animals are fenced in separately for safety. I also have 3 acres of wooded trails/not fenced for leash walking. I am able to provide care and exercise depending on your pets needs and will only accept dogs that are not aggressive towards people or other dogs for a positive/fun experience. There are two large porches for either sunning or shade. I also have air conditioning. Please be up to date on vaccinations (including kennel cough), worming and monthly flea control. I live in a quiet/peaceful valley. Please no excessive barkers and bring their food, treats and special toys. I have 3 giant wire crates/bedding for night sleeping and only take up to 3 dogs at a time. If you have a well trained dog that would be happy sleeping in a dog bed at night, I can be accommodating. Must have been crate trained at some point in their life. Waking up in the am to an intact couch is nice! 😊 Otherwise will be spending time with me in my home and on the property. Please allow enough time for a 1st time meet and greet prior to finalizing the booking. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family!
“Kat was so friendly and knows a lot about caring for dogs. I love that she wanted a meet and greet before hand so she could get to know our dog. Her dog space is clean and organized. Kat has a large fenced play yard and we received videos of our dog having fun while we were away which put us at ease. When we picked him up he was happy to see us but also did his stand up snuggle with Kat before leaving. We won’t hesitate to leave our dog with Kat again.”

About: I can hardly remember a time where i didnt have at least one pet. I would love to take care of your pup(s), whether that be overnight or just for walks/runs :) I’m currently working part time as a personal trainer, so I’ll have a lot of time to spend with the pets! I am available after 11am ever day. :) I have a huge field outside of my house where dogs love to run around. I would also be totally willing to take your dogs on walks/runs, as I run Sacajawea lake often.
About: I have had pets all of my life. When I was 20 (1978) yoa I started cleaning houses and have pet/house sat for many of my clients over the years. Dogs, cats, goats, horses. My husband and I are mostly retired and can travel to your home around the US to care for your home and pets. We both have lived on acreage and have taken care of animals since childhood. Besides house pets, we love to care for caged pets as well as goats and horses Pet sitting in our home is minimal but with the right fit we can accommodate one pet. We have a fenced yard and I walk pets daily in all but the worst weather.

Consisting of 2 cats (a black domestic boy, Zoe,16 years old and a mixed snow shoe/ragdoll, Sid, is 12) and 2 dogs (a Bull Mastiff, Sage, is almost 9 years old and a year old mastiff puppy names Stella Beam). We've recently lost our 16 year old tabby, Suka, and our 11 year old German shepherd, Copper in the last 2 years. I live with my wife and our daughter in Vancouver, WA and have the ability, time and equipment to travel bothbsides of the river. I look foward to meeting and working with you and your pack! “W usually have friends and/or a dog resort host our dog when we are way (from a weekend to a couple of weeks), but this time around we had to leave for a full month and we had to go a different direction: Rover. We were quite hesitant, this being the first time we would be away from our dog for a month, and also being the first time using Rover, but luckily we found Mandy. Mandy is super responsive, friendly and dependable, and she clearly loves animals. She made us feel very comfortable and safe. During our leave, she periodically shared images and videos and it was clear our dog had a great time with her (and her dog) and was well taken care of. Mandy also offered to come pick our dog up from our place and bring him back home after the stay (for a fee, but still, super convenient). Overall, we are extremely happy with Mandy and we look forward to the next time we will again need her service! We cannot recommend her enough! Thank you Mandy!”

It was a great environment for my dog in particular since he loves playing and interacting with other dogs, and she did an amazing job leash training him during his stay. About: I am new to Rover, but have worked in the Animal Health Industry as a Veterinarian Technician (animal nurse) and outside sales/customer service for the past 30+ years. Along with the background check Rover provides, I also have a Business License and I am Insured/Bonded. Animal care is my only business/job. I have experience with most animals from reptiles to cattle and currently have a little 5 acre hobby farm with a horse, goats, chickens, dog and cat. I am very flexible with days you need pet care. My days are filled with animal care of my own/yours, walking/hiking, gardening and home/property projects. Your pets will be treated with great care while spending time with me. I have a gated 5 acre hobby farm with 1/2 acre fully fenced area around my home. My farm animals are fenced in separately for safety. I also have 3 acres of wooded trails/not fenced for leash walking. I am able to provide care and exercise depending on your pets needs and will only accept dogs that are not aggressive towards people or other dogs for a positive/fun experience. There are two large porches for either sunning or shade. I also have air conditioning. Please be up to date on vaccinations (including kennel cough), worming and monthly flea control. I live in a quiet/peaceful valley. Please no excessive barkers and bring their food, treats and special toys. I have 3 giant wire crates/bedding for night sleeping and only take up to 3 dogs at a time. If you have a well trained dog that would be happy sleeping in a dog bed at night, I can be accommodating. Must have been crate trained at some point in their life. Waking up in the am to an intact couch is nice! 😊 Otherwise will be spending time with me in my home and on the property. Please allow enough time for a 1st time meet and greet prior to finalizing the booking. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family!
“Kat was so friendly and knows a lot about caring for dogs. I love that she wanted a meet and greet before hand so she could get to know our dog. Her dog space is clean and organized. Kat has a large fenced play yard and we received videos of our dog having fun while we were away which put us at ease. When we picked him up he was happy to see us but also did his stand up snuggle with Kat before leaving. We won’t hesitate to leave our dog with Kat again.”
