“Cynthia was absolutely wonderful with our pups! She sent us lots of photos and updates throughout their stay, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were happy and well cared for. She truly goes above and beyond. She even gave our dogs a bath before we picked them up, and while they were there, they got to join in celebrating her dog’s birthday! She did the cutest birthday photo shoot and even sent our pups home with little goodie bags. Such a fun and thoughtful surprise! It’s clear Cynthia genuinely loves dogs and treats every one like family. Our pups came home happy, clean, and loved. We will definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing sitter!”

“Kimberly was amazing with our pup! She has a great setup and an obvious heart for pets. She was so kind to send us pictures/videos to help us feel better about leaving him behind. We’ll be using her again!!”

“We found Kelsey and honestly feel like we hit the jackpot. From the start, she took the time to get to know us and our pups, Lexi and Charlie, making sure it was a good fit—and that little extra care made us feel totally at ease leaving them during our honeymoon. She made the whole process effortless, stayed in great communication, and sent us the perfect amount of updates—just enough to ease our dog-parent hearts without making us too jealous that our dogs were clearly living their best lives. The photo updates were a highlight (Lexi’s modeling career may have peaked). The best part? Lexi and Charlie came home happy, tired, and weirdly… better behaved? Not sure what kind of magic Kelsey worked, but we’re here for it. Her home is lovely, and her sweet dogs made great vacation buddies for ours. We’ve already told our family how amazing she is, and there’s no question—we’ve found our go-to pup-sitter. 10/10 would book again. – Jermaine & Steve”

“Sarah was great with our dogs and was willing to administer Ivy's medicine when she unexpectedly hurt her back just before our trip and gave her extra care. Thank you Sarah!”

“I have nothing but good things to say about Ratih. My cat, Noni, is the biggest critic of pet sitters, and both times now when I have returned to pick him up, he completely ignores me upon my arrival—I think he might have found a new favorite person!”

“Jennifer was really kind and upfront about caring for my dogs who have some anxiety. She has such knowledge and skill she could manage them with aplomb and it allows me to feel comfortable leaving them with her.”

“Aarika was absolutely amazing!! She was flexible and communicative through our entire last-minute planning process. She sent daily progress updates and photos of our sweet boy smiling and having so much fun (and getting lots of pats, which he loves!!) We will absolutely be booking with Aarika again! :)”

“I’m so happy to have found Kelsey. It was my first time boarding Momo so I was a little anxious. I knew she’d be in home hands once I dropped her off. Kelsey was calm, attentive and knowledgeable. He responded quickly and sent a lot of pictures throughout the day. We highly recommend Kelsey and would love to come back.”

“Rene was very accommodating and attentive to Carley’‘s needs during her overnight stay. She took the time to get to know us and put us at ease by taking in everything we said about Carley’s personality, habits, and particular requirements. Rene took special care with Carley’s diet, medications and exercise. She truly dedicated her time, space and home to the comfort and welfare of our big mixed-breed dog. We will definitely use her services again.”

“Morgan was sooo easy to book with and made us feel so comfortable with leaving our puppy with her. She did an awesome job keeping us in the loop and even sent us a picture of our pup hanging out with hers. Highly recommend her !! 🤍”

“Kris was so helpful! All questions I asked were answered promptly and clearly, and while Aniol my nearly two year old dog stayed at Kris's family home, he seemed to have a safe and comfortable experience! I was so grateful for updates in words and pictures! We will certainly bring Aniol to Kris's again.”

“Our dogs were so happy when we picked them up, they seemed to have had a very good time while we were away. Sara was very responsive and very nice. My two dogs had no issues returning back to our normal routine which is wonderful. I am very confident in the care they received and appreciate how Sara informed us of other dogs and any concerns she had about the dogs getting along with others which was never an issue.”

“Amanda watched my dog and took great care of him while I was in unexpected hospital visit. Thank you so much for last minute flexibility in a crisis and coming to my house and picking up my dog!”

“Angela is the best! I have used her a few times and I always know my dog is well cared for and having a great time. She is dependable and wonderful with dogs! I’m so glad I found her. I would feel comfortable recommending her to anyone I know! Thank you Angela!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Our two dogs were so well cared for, and it was clear they were treated with love and attention the entire time. We appreciated the daily photos and updates. It made being away so much easier. We will absolutely be booking again with Danielle”

“April is amazing and her boarding is top notch. We're excited to have found an incredible teacher and can't wait to learn from her so we can get the same amazing results on our walks with our pups. She took the time to get to know us and each of our dogs. Her approach is structured and supportive. I can't recommend her enough!”

“Brooke is an amazing dog sitter. She has a huge yard for Birdie and her new best friend Lambeau. Lots of photos and texts. Lots of walks and attention. Thank you again!”

About: While I may be new to professional pet sitting, my husband and I have been dog owners for nearly 10 years, and our kids have grown up loving and caring for animals, so having pets around is a normal part of our family life. Caring for our own dog has given us a lot of hands-on experience with special dietary needs, administering medication, daily walks, and basic grooming. We understand how important it is to trust the people caring for your pet, and we will treat every pet in our care like they’re part of our own family. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom and homeschool my 3 kids, so we’re home quite a bit! Daily walks are already part of our normal routine, and we’ll be happy to include your pup. There will also be plenty of time for play, attention, and snuggles throughout the day. The longest we typically leave the house is about 3–4 hours, and that’s no more than twice a week. We have a fenced backyard. It is on the smaller side, but there is still plenty of room for a little play and fresh air. We also have baby gates in place to keep our toddler safely in areas where we can supervise him, and those will also be used to help keep pets safely separated when needed. We want every pet in our care to feel comfortable, safe, and at home while they’re with us.

“We had a meet-and-greet with Kathryn so that we could establish relationships between the humans and between Kathryn and the cats. Although it wasn't an official pet sitting appointment, we could tell immediately how comfortable Kathryn is with kitties (as well as a personable human). We look forward to booking Kathryn for our future cat sitting needs.”

“She went above and beyond to help out with not only my animals but my garden too! Her communication was excellent and she was kind and genuine. So grateful I found a great sitter!”

“Natalie is fantastic! She is thoughtful and provides updates throughout her visit. She is also incredibly mindful how she approaches different animals, taking into account their personalities and their little nuances to build trust, or at least in my cat's case, tolerance! By playing different games and trying different treating tactics, she is one of the few sitters that have ever managed to get my cat to not only come out of hiding, but take a treat from her hand! I would highly recommend Natalie for any of your pet care needs.”

“Audrey took excellent care of our three month old kitten. She is very personable and pleasant. She did a great job remembering all the little details I told her. She sent pictures and updates every day. Our home was clean, neat, and tidy when we returned from our trip. I definitely recommend Audrey and will use her service again in the future.”

About: Growing up on a hobby farm I've always owned cats, my family had 8 and I had 2 of my own. I've been taking care of cats of various ages since I was 10. My skills with cats include but aren't limited to observing body language, working with feral cats from the spot program, giving meds/shots and training. My cat is trained to sit and harness trained.
“Virginia was my first Rover sitter, and I was very pleased with her service. I don't go away very often for just a dew days. Usually, I'm gone for a couple weeks at a time and find live-in sitters through Trusted Housesitters. My two cats are indoor outdoor, and that complicates their care. For my three day leave, my neighbor came over in the morning to put down their morning kibble and let the cats outside. Virginia came over in the late afternoon on her way to pick up her kids from school. She would call them inside for the night and put down their wet food. I wasn't sure it would work since they don't always come inside when I call them in the evening. Virginia sent me pictures each day of the cats inside during her 30 minute visit, so I was reassured. I will definitely look for Virginia again if I need to be gone for a few days.”

“Anastasiia was an amazing sitter for our cat. She provided lots of updates and photos throughout the day. She showed true competency, even for our kitty who has specific medicine needs. Best sitter we’ve ever used, by far!”

“If I could give Karolina 10 Stars, I would. She took wonderful care of our attention-craving kitty Jimmy, sent us fantastic daily updates with pictures, took great care of our plants, and left the house cleaner than she found it.”

“Sienna was beyond wonderful. She took care of my sweet elderly cat for two weeks when I had to go out of town. Before I left, she came over to the house to get to know me and my cat; while I was gone, I got updates and pictures with every visit, and I knew Cat was in the best hands possible. I didn't worry for a second with Sienna taking care of her, and that was such a huge relief. If you need someone who truly takes their time to get to know you and your pets, look no further. She is absolutely the best pet sitter I've ever had.”

“Wow! Mike and Sharon exceeded our expectations. They welcomed our cat Lucy very warmly and sent us pictures of her antics throughout her stay. I would have no reservations what-so-ever to ask Sharon and Mike to watch Lucy another time. Highly recommend them to anyone who may be looking for a temporary sitter for their pet.”

About: I have a dog and a cat back home that I help take care of. When I’m home, I take my dog out for walks everyday. I especially enjoy getting to know each cat’s unique personality, from playful and cuddly to shy and independent. I’m happy to provide playtime, brushing, nail trims, and plenty of patience while they get comfortable with me.

“Sarah is amazingly calm and loving with her canine friends, and my guys felt welcomed, and right at home. I have a 120 lb puppy who is shy with most people - but he wasn’t shy at all at Sarah’s. So grateful for her loving presence and kindness.”

“Needed drop off daycare on short notice. Hosts were quick to respond and easy to coordinate with. Easy drop off and pick up. Happy family, happy dog. Highly recommend!”

“Sara was very nice and so accommodating when we had to change our date & again when our ferry was delayed. Our old girl was well taken care of and seemed happy when we picked her up. Thank you Sara!”

“Virginia and family took great care of Shay. I will call upon Virginia next time in town and in need of a doggie sitter. We were in town last year or early 2023 and she took great care of Shay then. I give her quad A+ rating !”

“Morgan did a great job watching Sparky. Sparky really enjoyed playing with her dogs. Morgan was very nice and friendly and she was able to take Sparky very early in the morning. We will definitely leave Sparky with her again.”

“Brooke was very communicative and my boy came home sooooo tired! She has a large yard where he zoomed with her dog and she walked him multiple times during the day! Thanks Brooke and Lambeau!”

“Katrina is a gem - quick responses, and was very easy going and willing to roll with it when I (embarrassingly) forgot my dog's bag of lunch, toys, etc. the first time I brought him over. I don't think he even missed his things, given how well her place is set up for dogs. The big, fenced back yard is a dream!”

“Hazel had a blast hanging out with Jax! She came home happy, tired, and well cared for. It was clear she had a wonderful time, and we’d definitely trust Virginia with Hazel again!”

She made the whole process effortless, stayed in great communication, and sent us the perfect amount of updates—just enough to ease our dog-parent hearts without making us too jealous that our dogs were clearly living their best lives. “Wow! This was my first Rover.com experience and it couldn't have gone any better! Virginia and family treated my elderly pup, Kipper, like one of their own. He came back worn out, needing a nap and lolling his tongue, as if he'd just returned from a highly satisfying trip to Disneyland. I strongly recommend Virginia for your boarding needs. She paid attention when we explained Kipper's idiosyncrasies, was flexible on pickup and drop-off timing, and obviously played Dog Mom as well as Kipper's own could!”
“Katie took such great care of our 2 boys. She gave us regular updates and shared photos often. They were very happy with Katie and her family and pets too! We will be booking Katie again soon!”

We will definitely use her services again.”

Buddy looks forward to his next visit with Avery and Theo!”

About: Hi, I’m Danielle 🐾 Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I love giving them the same care and attention I’d want for my own pets. As a retired Navy veteran, I know how important it is to have someone dependable you can trust when work, vacations, or last minute plans come up. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as cats. I offer in home pet care and daily walks, with a fenced backyard and a dog park nearby for plenty of play and exercise. Every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’m happy to follow whatever makes them feel most comfortable. My goal is for your pets to feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. ❤️🐶🐱 I’m a stay-at-home mom to three school-aged children and a toddler, which gives me a flexible schedule outside of school drop-off and pick-up. I’m available for boarding and daytime care, and I’m committed to providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. I’ll do my best to accommodate your schedule and make the process simple and stress-free. If you’re looking for a dependable sitter who will treat your pet like family, I’d love to learn more about their routine, personality, and needs. Reach out today to ask questions, discuss availability, or arrange a stay—I’d be happy to connect with you and help your fur baby feel right at home! 🐾 I want every pet in my care to feel safe, loved, and completely at home. ❤️ I have a clean, fully fenced backyard where pets can enjoy supervised playtime, fresh air, and bathroom breaks. There’s also a nearby dog park for pups who would enjoy some extra exercise. My two pets freely roam our home, but I can easily create separate spaces whenever needed to help everyone feel comfortable. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, feeding schedule, crate time, and individual needs. Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic, or prefers a little quiet time, I’ll make sure they feel respected and cared for. Your fur baby will be treated like one of my own—with plenty of love, attention, and reassurance while you’re away. 🐾💕

“Jael was a great Rover find and we will definitely book her for future stays! We received regular updates and photos while we were gone. Gus got lots of attention from Jael and her family (as seen in photos). We are happy to have found a new Rover home for Gus. Thank you Jael and family!”
