About: I moved from Mi to Wa in 2015 and decided in 2018 to be a dog walker. That was in King county and after moving to a house in 2021, dog boarding turned into my new side job. Last year I also enrolled in Victoria Stilwell’s Academy for positive training. So I am very aware of dog’s body language and needs. I absolutely love dogs and they are truly my life now but when I was 8 that wasn’t the case. I was bit in the face by a family friend’s dog. He was old and on medication, I startled him awake which led to him biting me. From this incident, I watched Victoria Stilwell on animal planet to get over my fear of bigger dogs and here I am today with a certification in dog training and starting my career with human’s best friend. My goal is for you and your dog to be as comfortable as possible. I only treat dogs/pets as I would want someone to treat mine (and believe me I am a high maintenance pet mom 😉) Dogs are my job. Whether it is boarding, sitting, or walking; this is what I do full time. Sometimes I do Instacart to get out a bit but will do that when my boyfriend is home. I am starting up my bath bomb business again so to have a companion working alongside with me is my ideal work day. My boyfriend works from home majority of the time, so there is always someone home. His kids do come over 50% of the week and are very kind and helpful with dogs that are boarding with me. They are 12 and 11 so they aren’t little kids. I have lick mats, Kong Gyro, and plenty of space for your dog to have fun at my house. My house is fenced in, we are updating the property all the time to make sure it is safe as possible. For larger dogs, I have a bell on a ziptie to put on your dog’s collar just so I can hear where they are at all times when I am outside with them. For smaller pups, I always go outside with them due to being in an open area so they are safe. I also have a 30’ leash that I can hook them to for extra safety. Inside, I make them as comfortable as possible. Whatever they like at home I try my best to provide at my house.
“Codi went above and beyond caring for our 4 cats. We originally booked for 5 visits but extended to 10 when our vacation grew longer. Her flexibility was much appreciated and topped only by the care she showed to the cats. She dealt with a few pee incidents, figured out where the cleaning supplies and more litter mats were, washed the peed-on mats, washed all the wet food bowls before we got home, brought in mail and packages, and took truly wonderful, professional pics of our babies. ? “Above and beyond care! I don’t normally leave reviews with anything but I really wanted to in this case. I have an automatic water fountain which is normally filled with enough to last them a week if it didn’t get topped off. Erica was concerned they were drinking more than what could get them through between her visits so she put an extra water bowl down for them in addition to refilling the fountain. That is going above and beyond and showed real compassion for my kitties and that is something I really value. She went out of her way to ensure they wouldn’t need anything while I was away. And she was so very kind to bring in my packages left on my doorstep. I didn’t ask her to but she saved them from the rain and took them in for me. We can always meet beforehand to see if it's a good fit! **Temporarily pausing in home stays until my husband returns home from deployment** As I am a stay-at-home mom your typical work week is when I am available. I can be flexible around your schedule! I can also stop by to spend some time with your pets on the weekend, so you can go enjoy a trip away. (: I do not care for dogs in my own home as my Lab does not like other dogs. In your home, however, I take care to follow all instructions closely! I take many pictures so prepare for cuteness overload. I also have experience working with a dog training/walking company in NYC and am comfortable with a wide array of needs.

About: I grew up with two wonderful dogs, Ranger and Lucy, and I helped to train them as I got older. I worked at a great doggie daycare for an about a year in 2023-24 and I learned lots of awesome techniques and information about dogs' body language, needs, and other things. I am also equipped to handle medications, whether it be pills, ear/eye drops, or injections. I enjoy being around and training dogs very much, I'd say they're one of the things I am most passionate about! I think that staying with dogs, either overnight or just for the day sounds like a dream! I attend Seattle University during the year (mid September-mid June) but I’m currently home for the summer and I’d love to make a little extra money taking care of your best friend. I work in the evenings Monday-Friday from about 3-7pm. I’m available anytime of day during the weekends and any time other than my specified work hours on weekdays. I mentioned this in my description but I very much enjoy training dogs (although I’m not the most experienced or effective), cuddling or playing with them, whichever they prefer, and am capable of providing medications of multiple kinds to your pets. I can provide potty breaks both during the day and night if needed. I can sleep on a couch or in a bed, either with or without your pet. Personally, my dogs are crate-trained, so I understand not wanting them on couches or beds to sleep or just in general. Although, I would be absolutely overjoyed to have a sweet cuddle buddy to sleep with me. One last thing about safety, at my previous job, I was often alone in a room of up to 50 dogs and am well aware of techniques to break up a fight, although I doubt I will need to do this, I think it’s an important thing to know about the person taking care of your pet.

I am comfortable with all breeds and do best with small-medium sized dogs, although I am willing to care for larger dogs as needed. I have plenty of experience with animals and would love to be able to help you out! I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to help your pups get all their energy out! I am available most days after 1 pm, but my schedule is very flexible! My dogs are able to be out loose in my apartment when I am gone, but I have experience with crating them while I am gone. I want to make sure it is a positive experience for the pups so whatever the owner and dog are most comfortable with is what works for me :)
About: Hi! I grew up locally on Fox Island with my family. We’ve always had 1-2 dogs at a time from puppy to elder. I’ve always taken on the responsibility that comes with dogs from a young age to now - feeding, play time, walks, cleaning and overall care. I have been active on Rover for the last three years and currently operate my own LLC. I reside in a quiet neighborhood at a dead end street with my five year old son - who is also great with dogs! My house includes a large fully fenced backyard - plenty of room for running, ball tossing and lounging. I have a flexible schedule which allows for ample potty breaks, outdoor time as well as extra care and attention! I work 2 miles from my house part time M-F, 9 am - 2 pm with a mid day outside break for dogs on my lunch break. I host multiple client’s pets at a time and am only taking on dogs that are friendly and get a long with other dogs. I do not currently have any pets of my own and have added interior cameras to monitor dogs if I’m away. I work with two local sitters as well to accommodate additional outdoor time, play time and potty breaks.

“Alora gave me a scare and stole chicken bones from the trash right before we were going to drop her off with Kirsten! We double and triple checked Alora wasnt going to need a vet visit, and Kirsten kindly accommodated a slightly later dropoff & some fasting + bland food requests the next day from the vet. That's thankfully as complicated as it got and Alora's stay was uneventful, but Kirsten kept this pet parent happy that Alora was in good hands and I was across the country for a few days 🙂 can't thank her enough.”
“Alyssa jumped in while Dane was out of town and made Lobster’s stay feel like a mini vacation. Lobster came along with his buddy Ren and they were straight into dog park adventures, backyard playtime, and running around with Lady (their adora-pup) like old friends. Between hanging out with Alyssa and her two daughters and all the fun outside, the dogs were clearly living their best lives. The steady stream of happy photos made it obvious they were having a blast and being so well cared for. We live 35 mins away from Dane and Alyssa, and the distance didn't bother us because we know our pup will be in good hands. We will book again and again!”
