About: *I am only accepting doggies up to 40 lbs right now. I prefer a meet and greet before a first time stay. Meet and greets last about 30 minutes. We will go for a short walk to get acquainted. I find this makes a big difference in your loved one feeling more comfortable for their stay and helps me provide the best care possible.* Located in Agnew between Port Angeles and Sequim I have pet sat for quite a few dogs over the years. I am comfortable with young and old. Your loved one will go on at least one 35 minute walk per day with me. It's helpful if you provide the schedule your fur baby is used to (feed and walk times) and I'll do my best to accommodate them. I am home most hours of the day (max I'm away is 3). I live in a quiet, safe neighborhood with access to the discovery trail as well as a large field for play and walks. I believe in positive reinforcement and redirecting unwanted behaviors.

About: I have had 2 dogs and 2 cats in the past and loved them dearly. I haven't had my own dogs recently but have enjoyed my friends dogs and cats immensely! I miss the company of pets and thought this would be an excellent way to have my pet fix by taking care of other peoples pets. Please bring your pets bed or if he or she is comfortable they are free to sleep with me and sit on any couch or chair in the house. I would love to take them for walks to the beach if you approve. I would take them for walks around this quite neighborhood and since I am retired we would have lots of time together to play and enjoy each others company.

She does not come with me for cat or dog drop ins. Dog walks can include her company or not, always at your discretion. She does join me for overnight pet sitting and loves other dogs. She tends towards submissive and loves to chase and play. She is very mellow indoors and enjoys watching the activity of others. Throughout her life she has helped with pet sits. For her first four years of life she lived with two other dogs. She is a great addition to any pack. I have experience farm sitting which includes plant watering of green house, gardens, field and pasture. As well as goat milking, poultry care, and feeding of cows, horses, goats and pigs. I also have a fully fenced yard, if you and your dog are searching for warm, comfortable overnight accommodations. So I am readily available to care for your pets in a daily, weekly, or whatever basis works with your schedule. My dog, and so yours as well, will be well attended to. I don’t allow dogs on the furniture, and I prefer to not use cages, but am happy to if your dog is used to or prefers that type of structure to be comfy. I have plenty of dog beds for comfort, I use all naturally made and healthy dog treats. I have a fully fenced yard which is occasionally visited by brave squirrels, so activity and amusement is plentiful. There are a number of toys, ropes, balls, bones and other chew toys for those dogs who simply need some time to chew and think about life in general. Dogs are put out when they need it, and let in when it’s time to nap. Just as it should be.

Mushka is a pretty anxious dog overall and we typically give her trazodone when traveling or boarding her, however during her stay with Michael she didn’t need it at all. We are looking forward to her next “vacation” and I’m sure she is too!”
