About: I’m from the Seattle area and I’ve been with Rover since 2018. In 2020 I got married to Micaiah my husband. When we married we added an additional cat to the family that belonged to him. So we have 4 cats. Before Rover I volunteered at PetsMart with Purrfect pals. One day a week I would help with cleaning, playing, and as a team member I helped cats find a furrrever home. My first cat in my life was when I was 8. I have always enjoyed pets and nature. So I decided to combine walking and dogs. Walks in the park or just around the block. I’m looking to be your new regular dog walker. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pets!! I’m also a very detail and observant person so walks, sittings, and daycare services would also have a description of how your pet is doing. I chart any different behavior or eating habits along with health concerns. Updates with photos would be a priority. I'd also ask for the dog's vet info and emergency contacts. Have a paw-some day! My schedule is flexible. I usually find clients prefer weekday schedule M-F routine for walks. This is my full time job! My time is your time! I’m very safety cautious. I will keep updates and photos on the pet regularly during the day. I also request the pet’s medical information and their vet clinic. I’m pretty flexiable with scheduling. I try my best to fit in the schedule my clients want for their pets. Only days I need off for two hours are Sunday and Thursday. About: I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember, and my fiancé and I have had our own pets for 6 years now. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets behind, but I am here to help in any way I can. I have two cats and two dogs of my own which means I have experience with puppies and kittens, and with things like giving medications as well. I will care for your pets as if they were my own 😊 I currently work full-time Monday through Friday, however, my fiancé and I have worked potty breaks into our schedules. One of us comes home every day for a mid-day potty break for our own pets, and we would be happy to include your pets as well. We have a big yard and decent space inside for your pets. Our pets are allowed on our couch and they usually hang out with us; it would be no different for your pets. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.

I work remotely so I am home all day with my teenage boy and a 5-year-old Schnoodle named Coco. My daughter is pre-med at WSU and is often home to help as well. About: Took care of a natural history museum’s (Sternberg natural history museum) animals for a year. Did the same at a zoo (Rolling Hills Zoo) for 6 years. Studying wildlife biology / pre vet science with the end goal of being a wildlife veterinarian. I’ve personally owned pets all my life including many dogs, cats, fish, insects and lizards. Additionally I've been on Rover for years as a teen but my mother owned the account (if you’d like proof of that I can give my mothers account to see my prior experience) but I did all the sitting. I have over 20 years working in the veterinary field as well as growing up on a farm, taking care of many different animals. (In which I still live) I absolutely love animals! About: My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.

I have taken care of all sorts of animals--dogs, cats, birds, lizards, hamsters, bunnies, horses, pigs, goats, chickens and even cows! I feel comfortable with pets who have medical issues, as well. I also have done a fair amount of pet massages for dogs and cats (not lizards, though!!) I have an online business, so I usually housesit and work part-time online. I also know to leave someone alone when they just don't want to connect. I usually do lots of walks and playing together as well as simply sitting and petting and offering yummy treats!
