“Mavrick had his first day of daycare with Mandee on June 15th. She had several other dogs there, which made me confident that she was capable watching my boy for the day. I let her know that he has had a rough week with a couple dogs that I had been baby sitting and she assured me she would introduce him slowly to the other dogs there, so he could rebuild his confidence. Mandee sent me pictures of him playing with a couple dogs during the day which set my mind at ease. When I picked him up that evening, Mandee told me he had a great time playing and he didn't have any issues. We didn't even make it 10 minutes down the road and he was asleep in the back seat! Dogs are always supervised- whether indoors or out! We just want to extend our love and passion for dogs to others! Young dogs-seniors are all welcome in all shapes and sizes! Our home is their home! We have a secure indoor kennel and outdoor kennel if needed. Special diets are no problem! We are willing to do anything for your dog that you do! Pictures and updates are always provided! We do require that all dogs be fully vaccinated and on flea/ tick medication.

All who have trusted me with their most prized companion, to walk, feed, play, and most importantly keep them safe at all costs, working with animals makes me the happiest! I know leaving your pet in someone else’s care can be incredibly intimidating and stressful, and that is exactly why I take so much pride in the care I provide for anyone’s animals! I can also provide you, pictures, or video calls to ensure that your pet is safe and protected!❤️ I currently am unemployed, I am available whenever you need me to walk, let out, play with, or anything you need me to do to care for your pet!☺️ I currently do not offer in home care due to the fact that I live on a farm in a trailer, I am more than willing to travel to care for clients! Once I am in my own home I will then transfer to taking in home clients!
About: Since I was young, I have always had large breed dogs in the household, Rottweilers and German Shepards, and have always been comfortable with them. While in high-school and college, my fiance and I raised puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, 4 of our 5 puppies finished the program and were matched with people in need. We helped co-raise around 6 additional puppies as well. We also love cats, we have a tabby-calico mix named Teva, a lyxn point siamese named Minnie, and a gray siamese mix named Baby. Pima, one of the puppies that did not complete the program has been with us for 11 years now, and we have loved every moment of it. Unfortunately Pima passed away from cancer, but we do have a new addition to the family! We now have a big boy named Koa, an 80 lb American Rottweiler mix we adopted after he was found roaming Lacey Wa. He was very aggressive and untrained when we adopted him, but now he is the prime example of a model dog with our training! My schedule is very open. My wife is a school teacher so I do prefer to have the weekend off, but weekend visits are fine as well. I do have a fully fenced yard, our cats are indoor only, but one does go outside on a leash because she is adventurous. Very respectful of other's space.

“We’ve never boarded our two little dogs before and we were terribly worried about trusting them with someone or that they would be okay. Oh man, we had nothing to worry about. I think they want to go back! Darby made us feel assured with pictures and reports of our babies not missing us one bit. They had an adventure and were more entertained at her place than at home. They lounged on her couch and slept with her (just like at home). They watched chickens and horses (more interesting than our house). I felt 110% assured they were safe and well cared for. It was wonderful to have no worries. Plus…she picked them up and delivered them back to us. Perfect experience. ❤️”
