“Lorelei is such a great host! I have boarded my puppy with her about 5 or 7 times over the course of December 2015 and January 2016 and I can only say great things about her. Her apt is very welcoming to dogs as she always has fellow playmates around and has a patio area where they can eliminate. One time, my puppy jumped off the furniture wrong and had hurt himself. She called me immediately and also did the courtesy of contacting DogVacay’s own vet for advice. My experience of Lorelei is that she is very attentive to the dogs and cares for them as if they are her own. As a bonus, Lorelei also wrote me thank you cards! I have booked with someone else when she wasn’t available and now I have learned that if you’re going to book on DogVacay, choose Lorelei!”

About: I cared for my first dog, a terrier mix, for 10+ years back in Germany. These days, I volunteer on a nearby farm to care for rescue horses. I'm working full-time from home and can be fairly flexible throughout the day. I take an hour-long walk around our neighborhood every day and would love to have a dog companion. About: I take my animals seriously especially my dogs. They are just full of life. I house 1 mastiff pit boxer mix ive had since he was 8 weeks the other is a rescue a mountain hound mix. Both are my world anywhere I am they are. They love to smile and wiggle. I have always had animals so everyday I am tasked with the responsibility of taking care of them From cleaning litter to walking my dog to taking them to vet to just overall being there. Its not always easy but everyday I show up and would not trade it for anything! I am comfortable with either pets in my home dog or cat. I do have a good size fenced back yard. A lot space in my home. For my pets and other pets I can separate them if needed. I have a ton of space for boarding. Along with experience.

I have the most experience with cats and dogs but I have also personally owned a range of pets (gecko, fish, hamsters, tarantula, axolotls, toads, rabbits, chickens, and more) and taken care of llamas, pot bellied pigs, horses, and chinchillas. I have even had the privilege to help care for a fawn and opossum! There is no pet that I would not love the opportunity to meet and care for. I am open to helping any special creature and with any special needs. My sister, Breanne, will often pet sit with me. She has helped me care for the wide range of pets for the past several years. She has a huge heart and loves any pet she sees (she doesn't even have to meet them!) There is never a dull moment for a pet when she is around because play and pet happiness are her ultimate goal. There is never a pet who will feel left out when she is around. She is also my plant expert. If you only need house sitting (without pets) I offer that as well. Just send me a message. Pet care is my full time job, whether it is for my own two dogs or helping other families with their pet needs. I am currently home full time and eager to meet your pet(s). I do occasionally work online but this is limited to a couple of hours a week. Just let me know what you are needing and we will see what we can do. I don't change up your care routine! In my home, for caged creatures, I have a separate room for sleeping and would keep my dogs separate when taking them out for socializing. I currently cannot offer cat/dog care in my home. A day hasn't gone by in my life where I haven't fed, bathed, or walked a dog! I currently don't work a job as I run a business out of my home. I am incredibly free any day of the week at anytime. I have a big yard (unfenced) & I am very aware of my surroundings so you can trust that I will have my eyes on everything!
About: I started my own pet care and dog walking business in my neighborhood when I was only 10 years old, and my family fostered dogs for years. I have grown up around cats and primarily Siberian huskies, and I currently have a 10yo husky named Tallulah and a 1yo old cat named Fannie. Friends rely on me to pet sit for households of up to 3 dogs, 2 cats, and chickens! Nothing brings me more joy than bonding with an animal. I also volunteered as an advanced dog walker for Humane Colorado in Denver. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I love taking time to bond with furry friends to get a break from staring at screens! I am happy to accomodate whatever is needed for your pets in your home. Feeding, picking up after them, walking, and crating are all things I am comfortable with. **please note if you book in-home sitting, my own dog would need to be able to stay in your home while I am there. She is dog and cat friendly and not destructive.

I follow any instructions closely, maintain clean, pet-friendly spaces, and always keep an eye on their behavior and surroundings. I’m mindful of leash safety, secure environments, and ensuring pets are never exposed to unnecessary stress or risk.

“Lindsay took such great care of Laramie for my 2 week trip! It was Laramie’s first time in boarding since she came to us in late 2025, so I was a bit anxious. Laramie is a pretty sensitive girl, and Lindsay was incredibly patient, gentle, and thoughtful with her. It was clear she really paid attention to what Laramie needed to feel comfortable and safe. I really appreciated how much care Lindsay put into helping her settle in and feel secure. Lindsay’s home and single-client at a time set-up was perfect for Laramie. About: I was a teacher for 15 years and if I can take care of a class full of 25 ten-year olds, I can definitely take care of pets! I have been a pet owner all my life, and I am in tuned with what animals need. I have experience with reptiles, dogs, and cats. I enjoy being outdoors and playing with animals. Being on the other side, as a client, I know how important it was for me to get photos and updates of my dogs so I am happy to provide daily updates and pictures to keep your mind at ease while away from your loved one! I am currently a full time stained glass artist working from home, so I have all the time in the world to take pets for walks and attend to their needs and activity levels. They will be with me all day! My home is on tidelands, so if your dog likes to swim we can arrange some fetch in the water. Otherwise, we will go for walks/runs on the trail, depending on your pet's energy needs. I am good about staying on the feeding/potty schedule you provide for consistency.
