I have a gated 5 acre hobby farm with 1/2 acre fully fenced area around my home. My farm animals are fenced in separately for safety. I also have 3 acres of wooded trails/not fenced for leash walking. I am able to provide care and exercise depending on your pets needs and will only accept dogs that are not aggressive towards people or other dogs for a positive/fun experience. I have giant wire crates/bedding for night sleeping/feeding and can take up to 3 dogs. I would prefer same family, but may be some overlap with scheduling. Otherwise they will be spending time with me in my home and on my property. There are two large porches for either sunning or shade. I also have air conditioning. Please be up to date on vaccinations (including kennel cough), worming and monthly flea control. I live in a quiet/peaceful valley. Please no excessive barkers and bring their food, treats and special toys. If you have an older/well trained dog that would be happy sleeping in a dog bed at night, I can be accommodating. Especially, if I have no other dogs boarding here. Must have been crate trained at some point in their life. About: I grew up with pets and have been a pet owner most of my life. We recently had to say goodbye to our Boston terrier due to cancer, and I’m missing having a furry friend to hang out with at home. I work from home 6 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Thursday and have two 15 minute breaks and a half an hour break during that time. I also have flexibility throughout the day. We have a nice comfortable home and a very walkable neighborhood. I enjoy walking down to the South Bend waterfront, which is only a couple blocks from our house.

About: I have caretaking experience, I have had many pets in my lifetime from puppies, dogs with heart murmurs, to timid rescues that need lots of growth and support. I have a belief that all dogs can be cares for with ease, because I understand them through their personalities and specific needs. Every dog is unique in a beautiful way, just like humans, I do my best to pick up on their queues and give them the attention they deserve and give them good energy. About: My name is Kaitlyn, and I'm a dog trainer in the Grays Harbor area. I have been successfully working with owners to rehabilitate fearful and/or reactive dogs for almost a decade now. I have also been a competitive dog agility instructor for 7 years. My own dog is Oakley, a Miniature American Shepherd, and he helps me with fearful or reactive dog clients by being a neutral dog with great communication skills. Before becoming a dog trainer full time, I worked at a dog daycare in Mukilteo for 3 years. It was a great experience and gave me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and handling large groups of dogs. I compete in seven different dog sports with my own dogs, but we love agility and flyball most. I am available whenever I'm not already teaching classes or at a competition. Scheduling is open as we just moved to the new area from Seattle. I am experienced with dogs who are difficult or nervous around strangers. I use scientifically backed, LIMA guided dog training to guide dogs through their feelings as gently as I am capable while accomplishing learning. In any case, I like to engage with dogs in a way that's most comfortable for them. Each dog is different! I am not comfortable taking unfamiliar dogs off leash outside of the home or yard for safety reasons, but I am happy to work on this skill with them if requested!

About: I was the primary caretaker of my family’s dog, a rambunctious labradoodle weirdo named Daisy, until I left home. Since then I’ve looked for any opportunity to hang out with dogs, even going so far as to drive 30 minutes south to the shelter to walk some of the dogs there on occasion. While I’m not a professional trainer, I can do basic training (potty-training, general tricks, walking behavior, etc). About: I am new to Rover, but have worked in the Animal Health Industry as a Veterinarian Technician (animal nurse) and outside sales/customer service for the past 30+ years. Along with the background check Rover provides, I also have a Business License and I am Insured/Bonded. Animal care is my only business/job. I have experience with most animals from reptiles to cattle and currently have a little 5 acre hobby farm with a horse, goats, chickens, dog and cat. I am very flexible with days you need pet care. My days are filled with animal care of my own/yours, walking/hiking, gardening and home/property projects. Your pets will be treated with great care while spending time with me. I have a gated 5 acre hobby farm with 1/2 acre fully fenced area around my home. My farm animals are fenced in separately for safety. I also have 3 acres of wooded trails/not fenced for leash walking. I am able to provide care and exercise depending on your pets needs and will only accept dogs that are not aggressive towards people or other dogs for a positive/fun experience. I have giant wire crates/bedding for night sleeping/feeding and can take up to 3 dogs. I would prefer same family, but may be some overlap with scheduling. Otherwise they will be spending time with me in my home and on my property. There are two large porches for either sunning or shade. I also have air conditioning. Please be up to date on vaccinations (including kennel cough), worming and monthly flea control. I live in a quiet/peaceful valley. Please no excessive barkers and bring their food, treats and special toys. If you have an older/well trained dog that would be happy sleeping in a dog bed at night, I can be accommodating. Especially, if I have no other dogs boarding here. Must have been crate trained at some point in their life. Waking up in the am to an intact couch is nice! 😊 Please allow enough time for a 1st time meet and greet prior to finalizing the booking. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family!

“We booked with Kat after another local boarder cancelled last minute. I'm happy that she did. Mochi was extremely happy with his stay at Kat's! He had a great time making new friends, running and playing in the large yard. Kat kept us updated daily with photos or video. She also had an extra dogloo for him to sleep in (since it was a bit cold). On our next vacation, we'll definitely bring Mochi back to stay with Kat again.”
About: I have caretaking experience, I have had many pets in my lifetime from puppies, dogs with heart murmurs, to timid rescues that need lots of growth and support. I have a belief that all dogs can be cares for with ease, because I understand them through their personalities and specific needs. Every dog is unique in a beautiful way, just like humans, I do my best to pick up on their queues and give them the attention they deserve and give them good energy. I am open to caring for pets every day of the week, Monday to Sunday from daytime to overnight needs. I am a writer and creative and this would be my main job other than those duties which I would balance efficiently. At my home, I have two separate units. I have a main house and a studio next door, along with two fenced in backyards. I am near the Hoquiam town hall nearby the town which is perfect for long walks.
