“Raenell was great! I really predicated regular updates during the stay and excellent communication leading up to the stay. My dog returned happy like he was on vacation 🙂. I would recommend Raenell to anyone.”

“Quickly became the best sitter I've ever had. Pictures showed Lynx so happy and taken care of. For as long as I live in this area, Rebecca will be Lynx's sitter!”

“Cory watched our 3-month old puppy Willa for a few nights, and we had such a great experience with her. She had us come over to meet Willa before we booked officially, and made us feel so comfortable, letting us see her house and where Willa would be, and taking Willa for a little stroll around the block with us. She kept us updated the whole time Willa was there, sending photos and little notes which made us feel SO much better as it was our first time being away from our puppy! Cory also really cared about our schedule with Willa and wanted to keep up the training we'd been doing with her. She asked tons of detailed questions which I really appreciated. We already have her booked again for the holidays! We're so grateful we found her.”

“Charlie was amazing! He took so much time with our dog to make sure he felt comfortable in the space and with the other dogs. Normally, our dog is pretty nervous without us there, but he was honestly sad to leave and we’ll definitely be going back! Would highly recommend!”

“Emily was so great!! She watched our golden retriever who has a lot of energy and my dog was so tired and happy when I picked her up. Her dogs are so sweet and had so much fun with my dog, and I felt like Emily was really caring and understanding of some diet needs she has. I’ll definitely board with her again!”

“Wow. Mackenzie saved us last minute when plans for our Meeko feel through. We were driving from Portland to Hood River area for a wedding and had nowhere to take him. She offered her services right away and was the absolute best person to leave him with for the weekend. She made us feel so comfortable from the moment we met, and sent updates and pictures all weekend. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend!!! Thank you again, Mackenzie for being absolutely amazing!!”

“This was our pups first overnight away from his family. Katlyn was a great caregiver to our Ember and even sent us some pictures while we were away. It was also an added bonus that she had a playmate there which was Katlyns dog Luca. I think that helped her feel more at ease and comfortable. A great place to have our dog and will absolutely have her stay there again.”

About: I’ve taken care and been around cats all my life. I have lots of experience giving them daily care and tending to their needs, and I can stand the smell of the wet food, lol! I give every cat patient, gentle care, respecting their personality while making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their home.
About: Grew up with a cat. Been watching and walking dogs since I was a kid. Would also love to offer hikes and runs for dogs too. I work from home and have a flexible schedule so can shoot of to walk or run or water or feed pets at a moments notice. I love to have dogs off leash when they are trust worthy. Otherwise on lead walks are a great way to keep pets safe. Also double checking locks when dropping them home
“Sarah was awesome as I needed her to check in on Harlie for a quick last minute trip for work. She was very flexible in squeezing in a quick meet and greet before leaving. She took great care of Harlie, took her for walks and made sure she had plenty of food and water. She is absolutely great with dogs and definitely use her again in the future!”

About: I'm an experienced dog sitter and former dog mom just returning to Rover and accepting new and returning clients! I have decades of experience taking care of dogs, including my own, friends', and dogs in rescues and shelters. I was the dog-walking coordinator for a dog rescue and a dog-walking volunteer for a public shelter for years. I actually grew up afraid of dogs and it was a big deal for me to start volunteering to walk strange dogs; it helped build my confidence, and I was -- and still am -- very attuned to what's going on with the creature at the other end of the leash. I believe every dog has unique needs and temperament and honor these while they're in my care to ensure they feel as secure and safe as possible. DOG SITTING AND BOARDING: I work from home as an editor, so your dog will get lots of attention and potty breaks. Your dog is welcome to join me on the couch or lie at my feet for regular pets, or chill in another room in or out of a crate. Whatever will make your dog feel most at ease while you're away. I recently lost my own 15-year-old dog, so your pup will be my sole focus (and will get lots of love and care). I have a fully fenced yard at my home for potty breaks (separate from walks/hikes). If you don't have a fully fenced yard at your home, it's no problem to take your dog for leashed potty walks as frequently as necessary.
“Alihna did a wonderful job taking care of all 4 of our cats and house while we were out of town. She sent pictures and let me know how they were doing each day. The house was in great shape when we got home. It was nice to be able to go on vacation and not worry about anything at home. I definitely recommend her!”

About: I have a big heart for animals (especially cats and dogs). I am very passionate and driven, i’ll make sure your pets have their needs (and wants) full filled! I work Monday-Thursday from 7-3ish normally. This being said I have most of my afternoons open and weekends and nights available to stay overnight or just walk your pets! I am very gentle and caring with animals, but I can be stern if needed. I don’t accept overnights in my own home due to allergies etc. But I will make sure your dog/cat has everything they need and gets love and attention in their home. I know how to handle big and small dogs, and most of the time I can keep them contained on a lead too.
“Sydney was awesome - she cared for my horses, goat, and kitties with kindness and respect. She executed a complicated feeding and care plan and for that I am grateful. She communicated easily and had everything under control. I recommend Sydney to anyone with animals - they can entrust them and their home to Sydney and have a stress free getaway. Thank you, Sydney!”
“Maddie was awesome with Luna! When I got back, Luna was doing great, well fed, and happy. I can tell that she enjoyed Maddie's company, and I appreciated Maddie's help a lot. I recommend Maddie to other people.”

About: I am a dedicated dog mom with hands on experience caring for both active and senior dogs. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and a friendly dog who enjoys playtime and walks. I follow each pet's routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs to make sure they feel comfortable and at home.
About: 5 months of volunteer experience in a private shelter in Romania, taking care of 80+ dogs at any given time. Recently adopted one of the dogs from the shelter. Dogs and cats have always been present in my family. On M/W/F, at 8AM-2:30PM, I attend massage school in Portland. On the days I go to school, I do have periods of time, early morning and early evening, to check on your fur babies. Aside from that, my free days, Tue/Thur/Sat/Sun, are fully open for whatever frequency is needed to check on your animals. I have a fenced yard with two dogs that are social. Occasionally there is a cat present. I’m fully comfortable taking your dogs on walks, playing with them, or just sitting and keeping them company.
“John took great care of our elderly dog and took away a lot of the stress involved with letting a stranger in your house to take care of your pets. I’m glad we found him and highly recommend him!”

“Cali has been an amazing sitter for our dogs! She communicates well with all details needed and shows up for visits on time. I always get pictures and messages about how the visit went. Cali is reliable and wonderful to work with. We will continue to book with her as our first choice whenever we can!”

“Aaron did an absolutely fantastic job of taking care of our two senior cats! He was kind, prompt, attentive, and responsive. Unfortunately, one of our cats had an issue, but Aaron went above and beyond in attending to our cat’s needs as well as cleaning up after our cat. We highly recommend Aaron for taking care of your pets!”

“Charlie was awesome! We needed some last minute doggy daycare and he came through for us. He clearly loves dogs and has a wonderful property to host them. While watching our guy, he was communicative and attentive to our dog’s needs. We would definitely recommend his services!”

About: I've basically been around dogs all my life and I love them dearly. I lived on a farm in Mexico for over 15 years and had my pack of 5 dogs. I enjoy playing and spending time with them, walks and talks :) I have patience for dogs like no other, their needs are my top priority. Every dog is a good dog🖤 I'm currently unemployed, so I'll have all the time in the world to take care and to have a fun time with your pup!! Walks, treats and belly rubs all day🖤 I have a fenced back yard that your pup and my pup can play in, many dog toys and of course the house to roam around in. My house isn't very small but not too big either, but its definitely safe for your pup 100%. I do walks locally, so it's safe and close to home!
“Makenzie was responsive, easy to work with, and kind to my dog. Her dog Mochi is a well behaved playmate and my pup came back happy and tired after getting long walks and lots of playtime in the yard.”

“Sam has a great property for dog sitting, fully fenced in with indoor AC available. My two dogs fully enjoyed their stay, helping with the garden and playing with her adorable pup. I would highly recommend Sam as a pet sitter. 15/10 experience!”

“Rebecca responded quickly to all of our questions and was patient. We had never put our dog Izzie in a kennel before. The photos of their facilities gave a good sense of what the dogs were provided with inside and outside, and photos of Izzie Rebecca sent to us on the days Rebecca was caring for Izzie were fun and reassuring. Lastly, their roaming farm animals were a delight. We will kennel our dog with Rebecca whenever we are in this part of the Columbia Gorge.”

About: I've been on Rover for over five years and I’ve been taking care of family and neighbor pets since I was little. My childhood pets have now passed on but I took care a of my dog with heart issues and learned CPR to take care of her. I don’t have a set days that I work but I work in the mornings 7-10am and the evenings 5-10pm. So, there will be days where I would have to be away for up to 6 hours. I try to understand how they want to be loved, by cuddles or by a little bit of space. The pets are always my number 1 priority.

“Malia has been a lifesaver! She has been taking our young crazy pup for walks when we're too busy working. It gives me such peace of mind knowing that he's being cared for and is in good hands!”

About: I’ve grown up with all types of animals my entire life. I’m well seasoned with dogs and cats of all ages, as well as temperaments. I have experience in training pups, taking extra special care of older dogs and cats, and I’m also comfortable giving medical attention and have experience with it. Currently I’m working part time; 5 hours on Saturday and on Sunday. I also attend school online leaving me with lots of free time to hangout with your pup or cat! I give your pet lots of care and attention while keeping your home tidy; making sure to stick to their routines so that your pet is able to stay comfortable when you’re away. I also handle basic care like cleaning litter boxes, picking up after dogs, and giving medications if required.
About: Growing up, my family always had cats, dogs, Guinea pigs, ferrets, fish, and more. Being around animals is nothing new to me and is a huge part of why I have a huge heart for animals now. I currently live in BZ Corner in a house with a fenced yard with my two cats, Archie and Oliver, and my golden retriever named Seager. Archie is 4 years old, Oliver is 6 years old, and Seager is a year old. I do work two part time jobs, but I am available most days in the afternoon. Just send me a message and I’ll let you know if I am available! I love all animals! My cats are my babies and I shower them with love. They have lots of toys and even have harnesses for me to take them on walks and two cat trees to climb on. Seager, the newest baby to the family, is my pride and joy. He is crazy but so loving. He gets to go on multiple walks a day and even gets to go down to the waterfront on the weekends. After a walk with your pet, I will make sure your pet has water and place them back where they were before I took them on our walk. I will of course make sure they get their energy out with toys, give them a ton of pets, and make sure they go potty on our walk as well. I do have a large yard, and it is newly fenced! I live far away from the main road and do not have many neighbors.

My goal is to create a calm, dependable environment where each pet feels understood, respected, and cared for just like they would by their own family.
“Katlyn took my dog for a long walk while I went to an appointment and she did a fantastic job. My dog had the biggest smile on his face when he returned! He is a very strong, hyper, and young Labrador male and he can be a handful at times! But she knew of good training tips and helped get his energy out for me. I would definitely recommend Katlyn as well as trust her to take my dog out on another adventure! It was a relief to know he was in good hands.”
