“I was blown away by April's positive attitude and dedication to caring for my golden retriever. She meticulously created a safe, pack-like environment where the dogs felt at home, and the areas were exceptionally clean. Even more impressive were her plans to enhance her already wonderful outdoor space. As a side note, April is a certified dog trainer. Shortly after dropping off my dog and running errands in town, I noticed her diligently and patiently leash-training my dog during a walk, as my GPS took me back past her location. April never mentioned this task on Rover or in person; she simply did it on her own time, free of charge, without boasting. Her quiet integrity and humility are extraordinarily impressive. Best Rover experience so far!”

“Sheri did a great job taking care of my German Shepard. I really liked that she sent pictures and told me what she was up to during the day. She was also really flexible with my schedule and had a nice backyard for Adal to play. Her other dog was very nice too. ”

“Great communication and worked around me messing up with the app with ease! Ransford is not necessarily the easiest dog and I got nothing but glowing reports because of how much fun he was having! She did well with his meds and I trusted his safety in the house and with the other family members, furry and human. She will be my first call next time I need a sitter!”
“A wonderful pet sitter! Very communicative and warm. She was able to accommodate our last minute request, sent us updates and photos of our doggy while we were away, which was very reassuring, and she was flexible and understanding when our ferry delayed our pickup time by almost an hour. We would recommend her and be happy to have her care for our pup again in the future.”

“Samantha was such a great sitter that words cannot describe what a perfect sitter AND PERSON she is. Her daughters, Nova and Ivy, also gave lots of love to our Jenny; Ivy, age 2, said after hugging and kissing Jenny, “You can leave Jenny with us any time, we’re not that busy.” Jenny was returned to us looking (and smelling) better than when we left her off with the Johnsons; their dog, Groot, was a wonderful playmate for Jenny, AND Groot and Jenny eat the same dig food, Farmers Dog, and they both love it. 🐶🐶😎😎🦮🦮”

“Kris was a great pet sitter! Our pups Summit and Lilo loved their stay so much!! They were very responsive and we got picture updates everyday. They made our trip to Mexico a breeze! We would recommend them 1000%!”

“Kim and her husband were amazing! They are such sweet and kind people who took such great care of my pup I was able to do a meet and greet and she stayed in constant communication along with sending pics. Unfortunately I'm moving out of the state but if I ever come back to visit, Kim will be my first choice every time.”

“We love Britt! Moki has stayed with her multiple times now and readily goes back. It is evident she really cares about dogs and gives them the personal care and attention that each one needs! She sent us a daily update and photo/video that was much appreciated. Thanks so much, Britt!”

“Aarika was absolutely amazing!! She was flexible and communicative through our entire last-minute planning process. She sent daily progress updates and photos of our sweet boy smiling and having so much fun (and getting lots of pats, which he loves!!) We will absolutely be booking with Aarika again! :)”

“I can tell Loki absolutely enjoyed his time over there and I don’t think I could’ve picked anyone better to watch him. She really did treat him like her own dog and she kept me updated on all his silliness. Highly recommend!!”

“We couldn’t ask for better care for Coco while we are gone! From the many videos to excellent communication - we know Coco is in great hands ❤️❤️❤️ We highly recommend Sheri and Bill❤️❤️”

“Olive was very well cared for by Teri. Also, Teri is a wonderful communicator, she kept me up to speed on how Olive was doing. I felt like Olive was in good hands and I didn’t have to worry about her at all (FWIW, I often worry about Olive when I am away).”

“We are so pleased with our decision to have Marshel look after our dog Walter, We didn't know how he would go staying away from us for 9 nights, but Marshel put our minds at ease by sending us pictures and updates every day, It made our holiday less stressful knowing Walter was enjoying his stay there and he was loving being spoilt and getting to play with other dogs. We highly recommend Marshel for anyone wanting a reliable caring dog sitter. We have another trip coming up and are definitely going to have Marshel look after him if she is available.”
“Hayley was such a life saver. She took the best care of my 2 pups when we had to fly out and kept us updated :). She was also so flexible with the timing :) definitely recommend!”

“Katie took such great care of our 2 boys. She gave us regular updates and shared photos often. They were very happy with Katie and her family and pets too! We will be booking Katie again soon!”

“Ashley and her family provided excellent care for our golden retriever Conner. Received photos daily of him playing and looking so happy!! We felt reassured that he was very comfortable and enjoying his new environment while we were on vacation.”

“Morgan took our baby on a wonderful hike and out birdwatching. Nina is always so calm and relaxed whenever we pick her up, thank you so much for taking care of our baby!”

“First time using Rover and we lucked out with this last minute booking! Lana and her family are amazing. We were concerned about our Seabass being too anxious at night, but they made him feel very comfortable in their home. Their dog Amy is also very friendly. Seabass got to run around and play with Amy and her kids in their big backyard. He got to see their chickens and enjoyed a bonfire on his first night with them. I appreciate all the updates Lana sent us while we were away. We would definitely have our dog stay at their place again!”

“I would recommend Fiorella!! I received daily updates about my cat Lilah and how she was adapting. We were away for many days and it felt like we left Lilah in great hands. Great energy. Thanks!”

“Emily watched over my 4 month old pup, who can have a lot of energy at times. She was very communicative and professional. She was very accommodating to my dog’s needs and he was well taken care of. I’d highly recommend Emily to watch your pup :).”

“Jeanette was great! She happily booked on short notice for two separate weekends and took wonderful care of my cat. She was thorough, reliable, and provided peace of mind for me while I was away.”

“Natalie was awesome and really helped me out with a last minute booking after there was a scheduling conflict with my current sitter. She was very patient with my (very) timid rescue and went above and beyond to give some extra love to my older pup who was also home and didn’t require care. Will 100% book her in the future!”

“Dasha was communicative and good natured despite our cats having a bit of unexpected anxiety and making her life a bit difficult. We're so thankful for her patience and kindness!”

Alongside my professional role, I also run a business specializing in interior painting and light remodeling. With five wonderful kids—three young adults carving their paths, an animal-loving 18-year-old son, and a sweet, gentle 7-year-old daughter—family and community are at the heart of everything I do. Growing up surrounded by animals and spending summers on my grandparents' farm instilled a lifelong love for furry friends. That bond inspires my work today as I provide attentive, loving care for pets while their families are away. “Our dog was happy when we dropped her off, showing that she had good memories from her past stay. She was relaxed, tired but happy when we picked her up, so had plenty of play time outside. She has separation anxiety and some insecurities, so it was great to see how comfortable she is there. Very happy with the daycare.”

“Tally had a wonderful daycare/trial experience with Monica, and I loved getting updates throughout the day. She was in no hurry to leave after a day of walkies, exploring, playing with the hose, and sunbathing. At first I was a little nervous about having to find a stranger to board my dog with (especially a almost 13 year old terrier) but those worries were quickly put to ease. Tally had a great time at Monica’s and I’m sure she’s going to see her boarding in august as her own little doggy vacation.”

I also would say I’m a natural caretaker and cuddler. I am a certified nursing assistant and I work part time at a hospital.

“Tally had a grand time with her extended stay. Monica kept us updated with many photos and you could tell tally’s well-being was her #1 priority. Thanks for loving my baby :)”

“Our dog’s first stay with Linda went really well! She took time to ask questions to make sure it was a good fit for our dog and everyone involved. Great communication and expectations were clear. We look forward to more visits in the future.”

“Sarah was able to get Levi in last minute due to a family emergency. Levi spent an a week having the time of his life. Sarah does amazing with daily updates and photos and is very quick to reply to your messages. Very happy with the care Levi receives, I don’t have any worries leaving him in her hands!”

“Kyla and Nicholas were incredible! They were flexible and easy going with drop-off and pick-up and they listened to all I had to share about our elderly pup. We could tell Ellie had been well taken care of and she seemed indifferent to leave, which speaks volumes! She’s usually rushing out the door to be home with us. Kyla and Nicholas really gave Ellie a home away from home!”
