Sagan just turned one year old, and this was the first time we had ever left him with someone other than family, so we were naturally a little nervous. We couldn't have been happier with the experience. Janessa took great care of Sagan and made him feel right at home. It was clear he had a fantastic time playing with Janessa's dogs and the other dogs she was boarding. When we picked him up the next morning, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly comfortable in her care. The biggest sign of how much fun he had came afterward. As soon as he got in the car, he completely crashed from all the excitement and activity. Once we got home, he slept for several hours and seemed incredibly content. Any Golden Retriever owner knows that's usually the sign of a very good day. Janessa was friendly, professional, and gave us confidence that Sagan was in great hands. In fact, we felt so good about the experience that we've already booked her to care for Sagan for two weeks while we travel to China later this summer. The day before my booking was supposed to start, one of my girls got attacked by another dog and needed stitches on her ear and routine medication. I do like to let them roam the house but I wouldn’t while your pet stays with me! I only work a few days a week. I would prefer to watch animals on my off days since I work 12 hour shifts. If you need me to watch your pet for an extended stay and I’m working a few of the days, that will be fine with me as long as they don’t potty in the house. I work 12 hour shifts but live 7 minutes away from work and can come home for potty breaks! I have a fenced in yard, my two dogs have a good routine. Miley the Aussie is pretty chill but likes to play occasionally, maple the golden LOVES to play! I would take your dogs on walks also as long as they are decent on a leash! I also have lots of Kong type toys to stimulate their minds with a bit of peanut butter or wet food. I care about animals a lot and they will be safe with me.

I fully trained my own Australian Shepherd myself, he’s now a well behaved, house trained, friendly dog who’s great with people, other dogs, and cats. That hands on experience taught me a lot about basic obedience, high energy breeds, and consistent routines. I’ve also boarded friends’ dogs overnight, so I’m comfortable with multi dog households, different sizes and breeds, and administering medications when needed. You’ll get regular updates with photos, videos, and short reports so you always know how your furry baby is doing. My Aussie is high energy, so I know how to channel that energy positively. I focus on exercise, structure, and plenty of one on one attention so pets feel safe, happy, and at home. Pet care is fully built into my daily routine. As soon as we wake up, everyone goes straight to the backyard for a potty break, then they get half their breakfast. In the afternoon we go on a trail walk or hike, then come back for dinner. Evenings are calm time at home. I work from home, so I’m usually right there with them throughout the day. We have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can play, potty, and relax freely. My Australian Shepherd lives here and is friendly with other dogs, so guests are introduced carefully and supervised until everyone is comfortable. I work from home so I am always present. I also have cameras so I can check on the dogs at any time. Pets are rarely left alone. I treat every guest exactly like my own dog, consistent routine, plenty of exercise, medication when needed, and lots of attention. We have two lab mixes, a staffy, an a jackrussel mix in our home with us whom we love deeply. We do about 4 or 5 potty breaks a day an one or two good play sessions outside before settling into the evening. I have owned multiple dogs at one time and we live in a great location, by the river with lots of trails & dog friendly walking terrain. I’m currently working part time as a fitness coach close by & sub teacher & generally home most of the time. I love medium to large dogs, but just recently lost our 17 year old little dog. I have a fully fenced yard and always monitor our dogs outside. Inside, we use a fenced off area to keep dogs out of kitchen & downstairs. I prefer no dogs on furniture and up to date on vaccines.

About: Growing up, my family welcomed many rescued animals into our home, from a beagle mix and a golden retriever to a Jack Russell terrier, turtle, guinea pig, bunny, and even a horse. I make sure to understand each pet’s unique needs and routines, from feeding schedules to favorite activities, so I can provide care tailored specifically to them. About: Hey there! My name is Matt and I am 32 years old. I have graduated from Washington State University where I received my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. While in college, I loved volunteering at the nearby Humane Society and spending time with the dogs as I missed mine back home very much. I am familiar with a variety of dog breeds, as they have been a part of my life since I was a kid. As far as my interests and hobbies, I love to stay active by participating in sports, yoga, running, hiking, anything that gets me moving. I thoroughly enjoy dog walking and/or taking them on a run depending on what your dog prefers. My schedule is very flexible. Please let me know if you have any questions! I look forward to meeting you and your pet 🙂 My schedule remains flexible, I usually walk anytime after 10am. If you need in home services or house/dog sitting, I can provide that as well. The only service I can't provide is overnights at my own residence, other than that I'm open to pretty much any opportunities 👍 Typically I won't house pets at my residence, I could provide this service for short periods of time and no overnights. However, I do have a small yard that is fenced in.

About: Born and raised with dogs❤️ Living with me full time is my cuddle bug Lady Boo who joined my life adventure this past April. She keeps me active and is amazingly social. My second dog is a handsome little schnauzer names Dunkel who I believe was a bunny in a last life loves in Ohio with his father. Whenever I visit family I get to see and love on this little man. I am fully open as I am between season outdoor work. I spend the summers as a whitewater river guide and the winter as a ski instructor. Amazing neighborhood foe walks, daily trips to the dog park and small fenced in yard. Lady sleep in a cage so tour love one can either also have a cage or enjoy the bed.

“My wife, Dongmei, and I recently boarded our Golden Retriever, Sagan, with Janessa for an overnight stay. Sagan just turned one year old, and this was the first time we had ever left him with someone other than family, so we were naturally a little nervous. We couldn't have been happier with the experience. Janessa took great care of Sagan and made him feel right at home. It was clear he had a fantastic time playing with Janessa's dogs and the other dogs she was boarding. When we picked him up the next morning, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly comfortable in her care. The biggest sign of how much fun he had came afterward. As soon as he got in the car, he completely crashed from all the excitement and activity. Once we got home, he slept for several hours and seemed incredibly content. Any Golden Retriever owner knows that's usually the sign of a very good day. Janessa was friendly, professional, and gave us confidence that Sagan was in great hands. In fact, we felt so good about the experience that we've already booked her to care for Sagan for two weeks while we travel to China later this summer. We're grateful to have found Janessa and her family and look forward to having Sagan stay with them again. The day before my booking was supposed to start, one of my girls got attacked by another dog and needed stitches on her ear and routine medication.
