“Lindsay took such great care of Laramie for my 2 week trip! It was Laramie’s first time in boarding since she came to us in late 2025, so I was a bit anxious. Laramie is a pretty sensitive girl, and Lindsay was incredibly patient, gentle, and thoughtful with her. It was clear she really paid attention to what Laramie needed to feel comfortable and safe. I really appreciated how much care Lindsay put into helping her settle in and feel secure. Lindsay’s home and single-client at a time set-up was perfect for Laramie. Laramie ended up doing very well during her stay, which meant a lot to me. I’m so grateful for the kindness and attention Lindsay gave her, and I will absolutely trust her with Laramie again. Her apt is very welcoming to dogs as she always has fellow playmates around and has a patio area where they can eliminate. One time, my puppy jumped off the furniture wrong and had hurt himself. She called me immediately and also did the courtesy of contacting DogVacay’s own vet for advice. My experience of Lorelei is that she is very attentive to the dogs and cares for them as if they are her own. As a bonus, Lorelei also wrote me thank you cards! I have booked with someone else when she wasn’t available and now I have learned that if you’re going to book on DogVacay, choose Lorelei!”

“This is the first time we had to leave our three kitties for a trip. Ariana kept us updated during her visits, which made us worry about the kitties less. My boy is skittish, but it seemed like Ariana went with his flow and made sure he didn’t miss his meals. One of my girls had an allergy flair during our trip, making one of her eyes inflamed. Ariana cleaned her eyes and gave her eyedrops. We really appreciated that, and we’re sure our girl appreciated it as well. When we got home, we found our kitties’ food containers washed and drying in the dish rack. We didn’t expect Ariana do that, but it was very much appreciated as well. We’ll definitely ask her to watch out kitties again!”

About: I cared for my first dog, a terrier mix, for 10+ years back in Germany. These days, I volunteer on a nearby farm to care for rescue horses. I'm working full-time from home and can be fairly flexible throughout the day. I take an hour-long walk around our neighborhood every day and would love to have a dog companion. About: I take my animals seriously especially my dogs. They are just full of life. I house 1 mastiff pit boxer mix ive had since he was 8 weeks the other is a rescue a mountain hound mix. Both are my world anywhere I am they are. They love to smile and wiggle. I have always had animals so everyday I am tasked with the responsibility of taking care of them From cleaning litter to walking my dog to taking them to vet to just overall being there. Its not always easy but everyday I show up and would not trade it for anything! I am comfortable with either pets in my home dog or cat. I do have a good size fenced back yard. A lot space in my home. For my pets and other pets I can separate them if needed. I have a ton of space for boarding. Along with experience.

About: I've worked with many kinds of animals, from your usual cats and dogs, to less usual like snakes and chickens, to off the rocker usual like a buffalo. I've also babysat many kids over the past 10 years. I've also cared for elderly for almost a year, and I've watched many different animals since I got my first cat. Clarissa has shown up for every scheduled walk and gone above and beyond the 30 minute walk time and also has been going a good distance when jogging or running with my pup. Taking care of animals is my happy place and it is a joy seeing all of their true personalities while pet sitting..especially outside of the vet office! I have the most experience with cats and dogs but I have also personally owned a range of pets (gecko, fish, hamsters, tarantula, axolotls, toads, rabbits, chickens, and more) and taken care of llamas, pot bellied pigs, horses, and chinchillas. I have even had the privilege to help care for a fawn and opossum! There is no pet that I would not love the opportunity to meet and care for. I am open to helping any special creature and with any special needs. My sister, Breanne, will often pet sit with me. She has helped me care for the wide range of pets for the past several years. She has a huge heart and loves any pet she sees (she doesn't even have to meet them!) There is never a dull moment for a pet when she is around because play and pet happiness are her ultimate goal. There is never a pet who will feel left out when she is around. She is also my plant expert. If you only need house sitting (without pets) I offer that as well. Just send me a message. I'm out and about all the time easy to stop and take care of your animals and won't effect my daily routine and will show as much love as possible and can stick to any guidelines you set. You set the guidelines I will stick to them every owners different. I'm a dog and cat owner so know how it is, you set the stipulations and I'll follow them.
About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life, and and have experience with many different breeds of dogs from small to large, I always sit for my friends and family while they go away, I'm an animal lover ❤️ I currently have a totally open availability, even for holidays! I can be available with up to one day advance notice, and look forward to caring for your animals. My dogs are indoor dogs, my cats are indoor outdoor they go out during the day and come in at night, I also have chickens and ducks well.

“This is my first time using Rover and out of all the sitters i found I chose Hayley because she has a big yard for my dog Yuri to run around and other dogs to play with. or so I thought. Yuri barks at other dogs and very nervous around them. I knew it would be good for him to be around other dogs so he can get used to being or seeing them without barking. Hayley was very nice and when I picked up Yuri he looked like he's been out and running around all day. It was nice to see him not barking at Hayley's dog, even though he just ignores them it still nice to see him not bark at other dogs. We will definitely take Yuri back to Hayley on our next trip. ”
About: I was a teacher for 15 years and if I can take care of a class full of 25 ten-year olds, I can definitely take care of pets! I have been a pet owner all my life, and I am in tuned with what animals need. I have experience with reptiles, dogs, and cats. I enjoy being outdoors and playing with animals. Being on the other side, as a client, I know how important it was for me to get photos and updates of my dogs so I am happy to provide daily updates and pictures to keep your mind at ease while away from your loved one! I am currently a full time stained glass artist working from home, so I have all the time in the world to take pets for walks and attend to their needs and activity levels. They will be with me all day! My home is on tidelands, so if your dog likes to swim we can arrange some fetch in the water. Otherwise, we will go for walks/runs on the trail, depending on your pet's energy needs. I am good about staying on the feeding/potty schedule you provide for consistency.

Even though it was our first time boarding them, we felt instantly secure and confident they were in the perfect home while we were away. Bella was extremely communicative, in tune with both of our dogs and their needs, and very accommodating to the transition for our pups. Our dogs are not perfect, but they were loved by Bella like they were her own. Her care could be felt while we were far away, which made our time away much easier.
