About: Hi I'm Katie! Also known as that British lady! I have owned dogs my entire life, usually always two at a time. I currently have one of my own after losing three elderly dogs in the last few years. I now only have Ernie a chihuahua cross i rescued from Kansas in 2017. I've had experience with various breeds and fostered ex racer greyhounds for a while in the U.K. I also have two indoor/outdoor cats I rescued as kittens from local feral cat litters. I finish work for the Summer in June and can offer drop in services up to three times a day for dogs, cats and smaller furries if you live in the local area, Maple Falls etc. These can be whilst you’re at work to give your beloved pet a potty break or they can be for longer stretches of time while you vacation so you can feel secure your dogs are in their own home safe and comfortable. I can also board dogs in my own home from all over Whatcom county if they are dog/cat/responsible kid friendly. I have a fenced in yard and a very dog friendly house! I finish work for the summer in June and have a lot of availability for both walks, drop ins and boarding! From June 12th my schedule really opens up! I have a fenced yard and a dog friendly home. I have two dog friendly cats who are indoor and outdoor and tolerated living with four dogs and two kids. Dogs are allowed on my sofa and bed but only if you allow that at home… I don’t want to create bad habits!

So I figured this would be a good way to get to love on other peoples pups when it works for my schedule. I am self employed so my schedule can be semi flexible. I am currently taking bookings for any day of the week and at any time! Because of my flexible schedule, I am able to take pets on walks/potty breaks as often as needed. I always make an effort to tidy up toys or the home in general before leaving and I am very comfortable crating/feeding/playing with dogs of any size.

I grew up caring for neighborhood pups, giving them daily walks and love which fueled my admiration for them. I love spending time with animals because of how much we learn from each other. I spent summers working on a farm where I learned to work with all animals - great and small. From draft horses to cattle to chinchillas to fish to llamas to birds and bunny rabbits - I have worked with many types of animals. With dogs, I have cared for and train dogs from dachshunds to Great Pyrenees and so many breeds in between. I have worked with animals for over 15 years time as a caretaker. I volunteer at an animal shelter where I get to work with lots of different breeds. I have experience working with dogs which need a little bit of extra help on their manners or that have come from an abusive situation, creating a calm and trusting atmosphere for them where they can thrive. I find that not just do I love spending time with animals but that I grow as a person working with them. I am also available for pet sitting of animals other then dogs, as well. About: I absolutely adore animals, especially dogs. I love training them and being with them. I consider myself to have a lot of patience and understanding with dogs and I do well with all sorts of pups, including overreactive, high-energy, and loud ones. I work full time as a behavioral caregiver for developmentally disabled adults, and currently my work schedule is a little inconsistent, however I am committed to keeping my schedule updated two weeks in advance so that booking is seamless and easy. I currently am unable to care for pets in my own home but I am happy to stay with animals as long as needed. I have a car and I am happy to transport to dog parks, or just walk around neighborhoods. About: As a kid I set up a dog walking business in my neighborhood and had a weekly schedule with all the dogs. I currently house sit a pair of cats most of the year so I can only do visits to other places, no boarding at my personal home I currently house sit 2 cats most of the year. I feed them morning and night and most of the week stay over through the night sometimes day to keep them company I do not do house sitting in my own home but I am happy to come to yours. I love playing, hiking, walking, running, and chillin!

About: I have taken care of dogs since the age of 14years old, I would often be playfull with the dogs most of the time, the dogs won't feel bored. I prioritize safety, comfort, and keeping pets happy while their owners are away. I juggle part-time flight training. I have flexible hours, especially on weekends, and I genuinely enjoy spending quality time with pets—making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I do have a fenced garden to have a short walk around for dogs that are anxious on walking outdoors. I do have a balcony space which can be utilised if the dog needs a fresh air and scenic loving being.

About: I am a dog lover, and have run, trained, and explored with dogs almost every day of my life! I have three dogs of my own, and have always had busy working dogs with me. I spend the majority of my personal time training dogs, and I have experience with reactive dogs, nervous dogs, and dogs with very, very high energy requirements, as well as your classic couch potatoes. My goal is to meet every dog where they are at and give them their very best day, whether that means taking them out on a big adventure, snuggling them, or letting them run wild on my 5 acres. I work full time as a teacher, and during the week can fit in dog walks or drop in visits in the mornings and evenings before or after work. My weekends are open to take dogs on adventures! When I am out on summer break June through August, I have full availability to wear out dogs. Dogs are always very closely supervised in your yard or mine (line of sight). We will work together to develop a plan if your dog participates in adventure days dependent on your dog’s individual needs. Options include: leash, long line, GPS collar, etc.
“Cade and his family took wonderful care of our pup Luna. We were overseas for 3 weeks, which felt like an eternity away from her, but we felt happy & confident in the care she was receiving. This was our first time leaving her anywhere so we couldn’t help but feel a bit anxious. Cade sent updates and photos almost daily and that was great for us. Seeing her & hearing how she was doing helped us feel at ease. They made her part of the family & she got lots of love and attention. The huge enclosed outdoor space they have is beautiful for roaming, walks & hanging out in the sun. We could see how much Cade loves dogs and his knowledge and experience was helpful and welcomed as Luna has only been with us for 6 months.
