We were nervous to leave her for so long but our nerves were immediately calmed when we met them and, further, received regular updates with sweet photos of our dog looking right at home with them. Alisha even went above and beyond and drove her home while we were navigating customs, long term parking shuttles, and the ferry home after a very long travel day coming from Southeast Asia. “Our senior dog was well taken care of at Nathan’s house for 3 weeks. Our dog can’t go up or down stairs anymore. His house has downstairs which can go straight out to the huge fenced backyard. It was perfect! Nathan works from home so he can keep eyes on dogs. Our dog was laying around under his desk and looked comfortable. Totally worry free! Nathan is so easy to communicate and sent us pictures every day. Highly recommended!”
“Thank you, John for a wonderful overnight with Rigby! John has the perfect set up with a lovely, fully fenced natural wooded area where dogs can roam and enjoy being outside safely. John is very sensitive to a dog's needs and figured out easily that Rigby needed more space to feel comfortable. John was able to handle Rigby's odd behaviors and recognized much of it is likely due to anxiety. Rigby is a rescue who we've had since October so we are still figuring him out; he's almost 12 so we are the ones likely going to be making the adjustments versus him. Thanks to John's relaxed nature, we felt comfortable entrusting Rigby with him for overnight care. John provides quick responses and thoroughly takes notes to be prepared for his sessions with his dog guests. We will be returning for more visits in the future! Thank you, John!”

About: Cats are the most crazy, wild but the most fun to hang with as long as they think you’re cool! I have had cats most of my life and it would be pretty boring if I didn’t! I have experience with giving oral medication but not with shots. I also have experience with feral cats due to having one currently.

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been part of my everyday world. From a young age, my life has revolved around animals and helping them become the best versions of themselves. Some of my earliest experiences were with cats, including a feral rescue named Misty I bonded with closely as a child. I tend to connect well with animals that are more troubled, reactive, or unsure, and I’m often able to bring out their calmer, more trusting side. Later on in my life, my experience expanded significantly through raising and caring for Golden Retrievers. Over the past fifteen years, I’ve gained extensive experience working with animals through long-term, hands-on care. My background as a Golden Retriever breeder has given me perspective on how different animals can be, even within the same breed. Every animal has unique preferences, behaviors, and ways of communicating, and learning to recognize those differences has been a major part of my experience. I’m comfortable managing multiple animals at once and handling a range of needs without becoming overwhelmed. I’m most accustomed to larger dogs, but my experience raising puppies has given me the delicacy and awareness needed to care for smaller animals as well. I’m especially familiar with puppies under six months old, including their unpredictable behavior and the extra attention they require. I’ve also worked with dogs that can be semi-reactive in certain situations. While I’m not willing to take on dogs that are broadly aggressive, I retain the right to assess the dog before accepting. I’m most comfortable with working with dogs that are borderline reactive but not reactive-aggressive. I can recognize signs of stress or reactivity, and can manage dogs that are generally well-functioning but may need thoughtful handling in specific situations. I currently have a flexible schedule and am available for drop-ins and walks throughout the day, generally between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, unless I’m staying at a client’s home for house sitting. Animal care already shapes my daily routine, and I’m used to structuring my day around feeding schedules, exercise, outdoor exposure, and rest. I’m comfortable juggling different routines and planning time and resources around an animal’s specific needs. I’m very conscientious about safety and environmental risks. I pay close attention to doors, gates, toxic plants, household hazards, interactions with unfamiliar animals, and changes in an animal’s behavior. I rely on observation and experience to distinguish between normal behavior and something that may need attention. If something seems off, I communicate clearly and directly, providing context and details without being alarmist. I also enjoy sharing updates and photos so owners feel informed and connected while they’re away. I have experience filming and taking photos of animals especially dogs and cats that don’t sit still - so you’re bound to get a good photo or two of them.
About: I had previous experience with working in a doggy day care for about 5 years. The last 3 years i have been a veterinary technician assistant, assisting with animals of all sizes! I currently do work full time. I could probably fit in an evening walk, let’s chat about it! I am free to do the weekends. I have a lot of animals! I have 3 dogs( 2 are large and ones small), and 5 cats! All of my cats are indoor only, they have 3 cat trees and several liter boxes for them. I live on 2.5 acres and my dogs have really good recall, we don’t have any issues with the big ones running off, (the little one sometimes does but only if you arnt watching, which means I’m always watching). I have a pond and couldn’t let it go to waste so i added ducks and geese! One of my cats gets medication, two of my dogs gets medication as well. I trim all my cats nails, one of them i have my husband hold for me because it’s not his favorite thing in the world. I trim all my dogs nails. My little dog gets bathed every 3 weeks (he has really bad allergies). I’m really open to getting to know any animal!

About: I’ve taken care of multiple kinds of dogs and cats for family and friends ever since I was a little kid, and owned both kitties and doggies of different breeds most of my life. I’ve read a few training books for doggies, stayed multiple nights for pet sitting, volunteered at pet shops, worked at pet stores, handled kittens and puppies with care, worked with senior cats and dogs, as well as other barn animals as well! I am currently working a part time job in silverdale, usually around 20 hours a week. I work mostly night shifts from 4:30pm to 9:30pm, unless it’s a Sunday. Then I’ll work 10am-3pm. My shifts are always 5 hours, I usually work on the weekends and a few times on the weekdays. I always receive my schedule 2 weeks in advance, so I just need time to plan around that! I have experience with crating dogs and giving them daily medicines if needed, or any unique care. If there is ever at all an emergency situation, I will call you immediately while also taking your dog to the vet.

I choose to care for your pets in their space, which I finds allows for them to be more comfortable with a strange person. I am more than happy to take them on outings, such as to the beach or a forest trail, but only after we (you, your pet, and I) establish trust! My goal is to not disturb your pet’s schedule, so we will often stick to their typical routines unless otherwise requested!
About: As an experienced dog and cat mom, I will provide the same compassion and care for your furry loved ones as I do for my own. I think of new and innovative ways to make pet sitting an exciting experience for my new fur friends. I know the difficulties of finding arrangements for your fur babies for vacation, work, etc., can be hectic; however, that is where you will find that I am a great fit for your family! I am a trustworthy individual who will invest quality time in getting to know your fur children and provide excellent care. I am incredibly adaptable and intuitive, so it makes understanding all those fur children quirks a priority. As a pet-sitter, I am very flexible and will work closely with you to discuss details for the pet-sit (IE: arrivals/departure times, house-sitting expectations) , and get to know your baby. I am very responsive and readily available. I have experience with dogs and cats of all different breeds, and even worked as a professional dog bather for some time. I have been around dogs and cats my entire life. My very first fur BFF was a majestic, soulful Lab/German Shepard mix who was my best companion through my awkward growing pain years. Currently, I am a proud mom of the protective teddy bear (Lola), burst of energy and enthusiastic Rat Terrier mix (Bettie), queen of mean looks yet total cheese-ball cat (Nirvana), and my loving baby boy cat (Hawkeye) who is watching me intently as I write this. I hope to arrange my first pet-sit with you and your children soon! I also offer drop-in visits and walks. All of my starting base prices are listed, and if additional services are needed, I am very open to discuss. I work hard so that my fur children live awesome lives! I can provide flexibility in scheduling for all pet care services. I work remotely from home and can work remotely from any home/location with internet. I am also a dog and cat mom who takes care of 4 fur children regularly. Currently, I do not offer pet boarding services in my home as Lola is working on her socialization skills. I will bring professionalism, care, and fun right to your location! While staying at the client's home, I have the utmost respect for your space. I am a highly organized professional and can maintain clean, tidy spaces. I will work with each client to best suit their needs and expectations of my stay.

It was perfect! Nathan works from home so he can keep eyes on dogs. Our dog was laying around under his desk and looked comfortable. Totally worry free! Nathan is so easy to communicate and sent us pictures every day. Highly recommended!”
