About: I have owned and taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. Most recently, I brought home the cutest beagle girl named Mimi during the pandemic, during which I potty and crate trained her, socialized her with other dogs, taught her lots of tricks, and became best friends! Although I have no formal experience as a dog walker or sitter, I have successfully boarded many of my friends and family’s pets - I am the designated pet sitter! I currently work a remote, part-time job from 9am-12pm every day. During that time, I am not available to walk any doggos, but I can step away for a quick potty break if I’m boarding them. Otherwise, I am available in the mornings before 8:30 and afternoons after 12:30 for walks, play dates, or drop in potty breaks! While I do not have a yard, I live in a very friendly neighborhood perfect for walks. About: I adore all breeds and sizes. I've cared for a dog most every year of my life, whether I was a student, working, vacationing, or just existing. Those years have trained me to read them well as far as knowing what they are communicating at any given time. I find it difficult to be without a furry friend. However, I'm retired and thinking of traveling in the future, so thought this Rover program would give me my "dog fix" until I'm ready to start my traveling. I've had babies, adults, and teens when it comes to dogs, and many varieties; Border Collies, German Shepherds, Irish Setters, Poodles, Golden Retrievers, Old English Sheepdogs, Terriers, and have trained and loved them all! I'm retired but do go to a recreational center daily to work out and swim, so I'm available for dog sitting, playing, and walking M-F after 1PM. And weekends after noon. I have a fenced yard partly in sun and partly in shade. I also have a dog door from inside the house out to the yard, so your dog can go outside anytime the urge hits. I'm also within 1 mile of 3 parks and the Finch Arboretum.

To say what kind of experience I have would take more than 125 words because each pet has their own personality and style and I adapt to exactly what your pets need and want. If they want cuddles, they get cuddles. If they want space, they get space. I’m home almost all day so they will get all the attention they ever want(or the space they need). I aim to make them happy! Non smoke home with a big spacious living room to play or rest in. I’ve been dog walking/pet sitting since I was a teen and miss doing that. I’m a stay at home mom so I’ll be able to easily take your pup out on walks and quick potty breaks. We don’t have a fenced yard but have a shared yard out in the back as well as a park nearby. I send updates on how the pup is doing and what we’re up to. We go out on walks a lot. If it’s okay with the owner than I take the pup out on a shorter hike with my daughter. I make sure to grab water too! At home we see what kind of personality the pup has because some aren’t as active and would rather cuddle while others like to play play play.
