“Taylor was amazing! We have multiple pups that were in her care for a few weeks. We got daily pictures, messages, and she cared for the dogs so well. We have two older dogs and a puppy and they were each cared for by their needs. They were wiped out when it was time to come home! The dogs seemed so happy with her and also enjoyed the company of the other pups there. We will certainly use Taylor again and appreciate her care to our dogs. Leaving them can be hard but it’s a bit easier when you know they’re in good hands. :)”

About: We have dogs, snakes, and at rehabilitating a baby squirrel! We have kept many different pets for the past 10 years and love caring for all animals! Even the grouchy ones 😊 Our dogs eat at 12:30 and at 6:30 each day with frequent trips outside. They are friendly and we keep them trained to eat only out of their own bowls. Pet care is daily life in our home (with my spouse) and we both take pride in our relationships with animals I will frequently check for assent amongst pets to ensure safety and wellbeing. If animals need to be separated, we live in our finished basement and work upstairs, making it easy to both separate and engage with all the animals frequently. Any instructions will be religiously followed. I am getting my masters in behavior analysis so I am ALWAYS aware of the dynamics of our animals and animal guests!

About: Hello! I'm Taylor! My husband and I moved here from the Midwest a couple years ago and loved it so much we bought our first home! We brought our tuxedo cat, Benedict Mongoose "Goose" Cumberbatch, and our 15-year-old (but you wouldn't know it except he only has 10 teeth) puggle, Chuck, along for the ride, and they cannot wait to make friends with your fur babies!! My love for animals is as old as I am. I grew up with sibling pairs of Great Danes, Shih Tzus, Rot/Lab mixes, and German Shepherds. I started caring for and riding horses at 10, helping at my Aunt Lucy's Paso Fino ranch, later volunteering my time caring/mucking for therapy horses at a nonprofit working with disabled children and adults through riding. I carried my love of animals through every stage of life. But I also know how stressful it can be to travel without (or with) our furry friends so my goal, no matter the situation, is to remove as much of that stress from both you and your pets so that you can focus on the big stuff. I am lucky to be able to work remotely as an independent contractor; this gives me flexibility throughout the day. About: I’ve always had dogs and have such a soft spot for rescues. I own 2 dogs myself who I spend a lot of time exploring, walking, playing, and training with. I am currently attending grad school 2 days a week and working part time in the evenings. With my own dogs, I typically go on a long morning walk in nature and shorter evening walks in our neighborhood. I’m very flexible! I live in a spacious home with a large yard. The dogs are always supervised and when not, they are separated and/or crated. I always monitor dog body language to ensure only safe and appropriate interactions occur.

About: I've owned and cared for dogs and other animals my whole life. More recently in the past five years or so, I've dog sat for 10+ friends for extended stays without a hitch, ranging from three very yappy adult chihuahuas to inexperienced puppies of all sizes. I've also been responsible for looking after a whole farm's worth of animals, including chickens, alpaca, goats, donkeys, and more. I think my greatest assets as a sitter are my empathy for the animals while staying calmly in control. I work full-time from home, so my schedule is plenty flexible to give lots of love and several walks or dog park trips a day. Some week nights are available as well as weekends, dependent on other scheduling conflicts. I have a fenced yard with two pups and two cats (who mostly keep to themselves) to keep them company. Our Luna has been a bit depressed since her stroke a few years ago but after coming home from doggy daycare with them she way spunky, happy, and is even spending more time outside with a smile whereas it was difficult to get her to enjoy much time outside before as she would want to go back into the house or wouldn’t leave the back porch much. I’m so happy to see her rolling in the dirt and playing now. This means the world!!! She requires a lot of care and they did an excellent job even wrapping her foot really well and keeping it protected. About: Your dog is not going to like it here. Your dog is going to LOVE it here. This isn’t just dog boarding; it’s a dog vacay. The yard is a like a dog park, with bushes to hide in and plenty of room for zoomies. Dogs have access to a fully large, fenced yard and a large dog door to come inside as they feel the need, plenty of toys and a dog bed for lazy naps in every room. Two large yards are available and accessible to dogs that need more space or solitude. I am seasoned in all breeds, ages and temperaments. I have never had a dog come through my house that we don’t now share a special bond. Every fur baby is loved like my own and I will make them feel like they are part of my pack while they are in my care. Your dog will love to stay here and will be excited to come back. Ease your conscience knowing your dog is living its best life at dog camp while hopefully you are doing the same on vacation. Your dog's comfort and care are my first priority from the time we wake up and throughout the night. My schedule is your dog's schedule, and they are supervised the whole time they are with me. If I need to leave for any reason, they are either crated or in a dog proof room especially for dogs and separated by family. My senior dog is welcoming to all. She is very good at picking up the tone of the dogs that stay with us and matches that energy. Her manners are on point, and she sets the best doggy example for others.
“Cheyenne and her family made Shadows stay with them easy, fun, and comfortable. They were patient and understanding knowing it was his first time staying with them in a new environment. Over his stay there he got comfortable each day and let me tell you he slept hard for 2 days after he came home. He had Shasta, there dog to play with which was nice. Cheyenne sent daily pictures and updates that I was appreciative of. Thank you for taking care of my boy while away!!”
