“We are repeat customers with Leslie and have been so happy with our experience every time. She takes our dog to the dog park most mornings and she sends pictures and updates.”

“We left our 3 year old dog with Emily. It was our first time leaving him. Our dog Beau had no problems going straight into her care from the start. She sent us pictures and videos. We knew he was happy and well cared for. Will be booking with her in the future!”

“Wally had a great stay at Mae’s house. They took excellent care of him. He got to go on walks everyday and had a dog bed in their living room waiting for him. Being with people is his favorite thing. We got updates and photos. Knowing he was so happy made our weekend getaway to see grandkids stress free. We will definitely request a future stay.”

“We couldn't be happier with the care Frankie received with Eileen. She kept us informed with lots of updates and pictures the whole time and was very accommodating when our flight home was canceled. Highly recommend”

“Our dogs always have a great time and Cheryl sends us cute pictures and videos throughout the day. We had to extend our booking by a few hours due to car trouble and thankfully Cheryl was able to keep our pups later and was accommodating!”

“Jamie is amazing! Her in-home set-up is so dog friendly and she clearly loves dogs. We were unfortunately caught-up in the Mexico travel cancellations so Charlie only got to stay 1 night, but we will be back. We appreciate Jamie’s flexibility and care. If you are lucky enough to get a date for your small dog or doodle, take it.💖”

“Fantastic service with Kayla. I've already booked ahead for some future trips. Teddy and Mochi got along like two peas in a pod, and Kayla sent plenty of updates for a helicopter dog mom like myself. I highly recommend her services.”

“My dog's stay with Michelle was great! Michelle and her husband were very accommodating and made sure my dog felt comfortable. I received many updates on their activities and photos while I was away, which I appreciated! I was at ease with her stay, and I will definitely look to Michelle again in the future! Thank you!”

“Chantel is amazing!! She was a pleasure to work with from booking Scout’s stay until I picked him up. My schedule changed a couple of times and Chantel graciously adapted to the changes. She took great care of Scout, sending pictures every day he was with her and he was obviously very comfortable and happy. Chantel will always be my choice of sitters in the future. Thank you so much, Chantel!”

“Milo had a great time and was taken care of exactly as his medical needs required. We appreciate the flexibility with his pickup and will certainly return if we need boarding again.”

“Wonderful experience for our two dogs. We loved the communication from Greg. We know the dogs were having a blast. Probably didn’t miss us. Thanks Greg and Woofy!”

“We are so glad to have found Ellie. We had a couple of play dates before this stay so our dogs and her dog would be familiar with each other. Our dogs are so happy to see her and sad to leave. Ellie takes great care of our three dogs and we are grateful to have found her and that she will care for all 3! Will definitely have our dogs stay with Ellie again and would recommend.”

“Again and again Louise takes such good care of our little guy - we truly appreciate all she does! Louise is excellent with him and her communication with us is above and beyond. We love all the photos and videos - it definitely lets us relax and enjoy our time away knowing Scout is so well loved and taken care of. I can't thank Louise enough - she is excellent!”

“I cannot sing enough praise loud enough for Monika! Communication from the beginning has been amazing, to how she expertly handled meet & greet, to how she loves our 140 lb. Rottweiler and sends photos/videos while he is in her trusted care. Let’s just say if 1 million stars was an option I would give her a million stars. Beyond grateful to have found her and I know our big boy Rocky feels the same. Highly recommend.”

“Darien did a wonderful job watching my dog for a few days! Their home is very clean and tidy, with a safe yard that was perfect for playtime. Both of our doodles got along great. Darien was super kind and kept me updated a couple of times each day, which gave me peace of mind. My pup came home happy, relaxed, and clearly enjoyed his time there. Highly recommend!”

“Cheyenne and her family made Shadows stay with them easy, fun, and comfortable. They were patient and understanding knowing it was his first time staying with them in a new environment. Over his stay there he got comfortable each day and let me tell you he slept hard for 2 days after he came home. He had Shasta, there dog to play with which was nice. Cheyenne sent daily pictures and updates that I was appreciative of. Thank you for taking care of my boy while away!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of friends, family, and neighbors cats for 10 years now. I enjoy providing care and attention to animals while their owners are away—and alleviating stress for owners!
About: I have helped with many people's pets who needed walked. Also have done pet sitting with house sitting. I have enjoyed meeting animals and getting to know them. I'm currently working part time and able to make plenty of time to walk and do drop in visits for other people's pets aka fur babies. I like to learn how each fur babies home is and get to know the neighborhood to keep them in an environment that helps keep them calm in their natural home area.
“Ashton and Shelby are responsible, caring and conscientious. They are great at communicating, and showed flexibility when I had a need for an extra visit. Knowing that they were truly caring for my animals helped me have the peace of mind needed to relax and enjoy my trip. I highly recommend them and will not hesitate to hire them again. My cats, rabbits, fish and plants were all well-looked after and I really enjoyed all the photos and updates!”

“Julia was an excellent sitter for my cat with twice-daily visits and administering oral meds. Followed all our instructions and left everything in great shape when we returned. Great communication and photos each time! Highly recommend!”

“Sophia was super awesome and did a great job taking care of my cats over the holidays! It looked like they had a blast judging from the pictures and I strongly recommend her.”

“Molly was prompt in responding to our last minute need, easy to work with, and communicated well w/each visit to check on our critters while we were away. She was open to checking in on our conventional pet (a cat) but also our non-conventional pets (baby chicks). Grateful for her services.”

“So happy to have found Abi! She did such a great job that our cat, Sammy, was only mildly excited to see us after being away for a week. I loved all the check ins and we will definitely be hiring her again for our next trip. Thank you, Abi! And thanks for all the little extra things you did as well!”

About: I’ve had cats and have taken care of them most of my life, but I consider my real experience to be my first kitty living alone. He had severe health issues and anxiety, so I know how much of a responsibility pets are and how individualized their needs are. I want to help ease some of the anxiety of being away from your furry family members! I have experience administering oral medications and caring for anxious kitties, and I love playing with cats, spending quality time with them, and sending plenty of pictures.

“Emily is wonderful! She took amazing care of our cats, and made sure they had lots of cuddles. We will definitely ask her to care for our kitties again! A++”
“So wonderful! David really took the time to get my kitty to trust him. And that’s a hard thing to do, especially when he has to be given medication. By the end of their trip, he was excited to see him and looking for pets. Will be booking again! 😊”

“David and Jennifer took great care of my pup that ended up having a lot of separation anxiety when I left her. They kept me in the loop on what was going on with her and kept her safe while I attended a wedding.”

“Mimi and her family took such wonderful care of our Velzy girl! From the moment we met I felt at ease and so did our pup. Velzy had the best time with Chester and they got along great!Lovely home with the best backyard. We will MOST DEFINITELY be booking again and again and again. Highly recommended! Thank you Mimi + fam!!! 🧡”

“Our babysitter John was great. We went through wags for a sitter and it was a very bad experience so we got onto Rover and we were already out of town when people kept canceling on us in the middle of the city so we got on Rover. Sitter he was great and even was willing to pick our dog up and drop them off. Definitely will use him again.”
“Emily is truly amazing and her 3 dogs are absolutely amazing. She took such good care of my boy Oreo and he actually is best friends now with her dog Reese. For a first time mom she relieved my anxiety and worry about him. She sent me updates and pictures and has been such a blessing in our lives. If you are looking for a dog sitter she is DEFINITELY the one to go to.”

“Sarah is THE BEST dog sitter! Kind, considerate, detail oriented, great communicator. She took care of my pup Piper during the day for a few days while I was in town to watch a volleyball tournament, and I couldn't be happier with how it worked out. I really appreciated the status update text messages that Sarah sent from time to time, and it was abundantly clear from the pics she shared that Piper was totally comfortable and really enjoying her time there. Also -- a big shout out to Sarah's pup, Sully, for sharing his home and his mom with Piper for a few days! He was a great host and he & Piper got along very well. I would hire Sarah again in a heartbeat if/when we visit Spokane again!”

About: I’m patient, caring, dependable, reliable and take my dog out on walks every day. I work from home so I will be with your beloved pet at all times. I work from home and have one dog who I walk daily. Most of my time is spent with my dog and if your dog stays with us, they will be with us all day. I do live in an apartment, however, I am active and attentive so I can provide a lot of activity outdoors or spend time with your dog indoors if that’s what they prefer.

About: I’m two years dogless and I truly miss the companionship and the joy that dogs bring to daily life. Joining Rover is my way of getting back into the "dog world"—offering your pets the same dedicated love, patience, and attention I gave my own for over a decade. What I Offer: • Senior Care Knowledge: Having cared for a dog through his final years, I am very comfortable with senior pups and slow walks. Don’t think I don’t love puppies too! • A "Dogs-First" Home: Since I don't currently have a pet, your dog will be the "only child" and get 100% of my attention. • Lifelong Intuition: I understand that every dog has a unique personality, from high-energy athletes to professional couch potatoes. I work from home full-time, which means your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. My home office is "dog-friendly," and I love having a furry coworker at my feet (or on the sofa!) throughout the day. What a day with me looks like: • Constant Supervision: Because I’m at my desk, I can offer frequent potty breaks and immediate attention whenever your pup needs it. • Structured Breaks: I use my lunch and mid-afternoon breaks for neighborhood walks, games of fetch, or just some quality backyard time. • Active "Face Time": I don't just sit in another room; I enjoy the companionship of dogs while I work. Whether your dog prefers to nap quietly nearby or needs occasional head scratches between my meetings, I’m here for it. • Flexible Needs: If your dog has a specific medication or feeding schedule that requires midday attention, my WFH setup makes that easy to accommodate. My home is a quiet, hazard-free sanctuary designed for stress-free stays. • Safety First: No other pets or children in the home—perfect for anxious or selective dogs. • Open Communication: Expect frequent "pupdates" and photos throughout the day. • Expert Handling: I am comfortable with senior care, medication, and following strict house rules.
“Hannah did a great job with our dog Teddy. Teddy was was a little nervous when we first arrived but Hannah helped him to get settled in quickly. She sent us lots of photos and kept us updated on how he was doing.”

“Cheryl is the best puppysitter ever! I felt super confident leaving my crew of three with her and she texted throughout the day with pictures and updates! My normally super manic depressed dog when I’m gone was happy as a clam! Thanks so much for caring for my crew!”
“Frodo came home happy and exhausted. He was taken care from the get go. Lance took time to understand and see who frodo was. You can tell he handled him with care and one of his own. We look forward to having Frodo spend time with Lance and his dogs again. 🐕 thanks for the updates on how we was throughout the day.”

“Had such a great experience ! It’s sometimes hard to travel and have someone watch your dog without worrying but right away I knew it was going to be a good day for Milo! Milo and their dog Paisley are besties from the start! The two dogs were so good together! Milo was a happy boy when I picked him up! I come to Spokane for work and will be using them every time :) can’t thank them enough for giving my boy attention and play time while I work”

About: I adore all breeds and sizes. I've cared for a dog most every year of my life, whether I was a student, working, vacationing, or just existing. Those years have trained me to read them well as far as knowing what they are communicating at any given time. I find it difficult to be without a furry friend. However, I'm retired and thinking of traveling in the future, so thought this Rover program would give me my "dog fix" until I'm ready to start my traveling. I've had babies, adults, and teens when it comes to dogs, and many varieties; Border Collies, German Shepherds, Irish Setters, Poodles, Golden Retrievers, Old English Sheepdogs, Terriers, and have trained and loved them all! I'm retired but do go to a recreational center daily to work out and swim, so I'm available for dog sitting, playing, and walking M-F after 1PM. And weekends after noon. I have a fenced yard partly in sun and partly in shade. I also have a dog door from inside the house out to the yard, so your dog can go outside anytime the urge hits. I'm also within 1 mile of 3 parks and the Finch Arboretum.
About: I had my own dog growing up that I was responsible for. Since moving out from my parent's home, I've cared for other family and friends dogs. I'm a new momma and looking to get myself out of the house, taking my little ones on adventures. I love walking and love dogs, and want my kids to be comfortable around dogs (we have no pets of our own right now). Since beginning this endeavor, it has helped both my kids to love dogs as well. I would need to use your supplies-dog toys, treats, leashes, etc. But your dog would get their exercise/play time done during the day with me
“Incredibly easy to coordinate with, and flexible with my changing plans. I was happy to hear Wilson had company during his stay and enjoyed getting a picture of him out on a walk with Irene. Would book again!”

About: I have owned and taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. During the pandemic, I potty and crate trained my mom's Beagle puppy Milu, socialized her with other dogs, taught her lots of tricks, and became best friends! Now that I live on my own, I would love to take care of your pet. Although I have no formal experience as a dog walker or sitter, I have successfully boarded many of my friends and family’s pets - I am the designated pet sitter! I currently work a remote, part-time job from 9am-12pm every day. During that time, I am not available to walk any doggos, but I can step away for a quick potty break if I’m boarding them. Otherwise, I am available in the mornings before 8:30 and afternoons after 12:30 for walks, play dates, or drop in potty breaks! While I do not have a yard, I live in a very friendly neighborhood perfect for walks. If your pet is friendly, my partner owns a lovely 7 yr-old golden that would love to play or come on a walk with us! (The golden does not live with me)
About: I have had a dog ever since I can remember and I am 69 yrs old. I have TIME and am reliable, because I am retired. I made sure my kids grew up with a dog and now they have my grand dogs which I love to babysit. I lost my last dog (he was 14) in 2018 and I knew I was going to retire (and travel) in 2021 so now I have my grand dogs and all my friends dogs to babysit and get my fix. I also have volunteered for Path of Hope rescue since I retired. I have a medium sized doggie door out to a wonderful patio and yard fully fenced with 6 ft high vinyl fence. I love dogs so much. They are just the most loving, gentle, and FUN animals put on this earth. I am a walker, so all dogs that stay at my house get walked everyday, with a ton of love and affection. I am going to start Rover on Jan. 2026!!!! I am retired, so I would love to walk your dogs during the day for you. (I am a daily walker anyway :) so why not?) If they stay with me, my home is perfect with a fenced yard, medium sized doggie door (but I do love and will have larger dogs too) and they will get a lot of love and attention. While I prefer crate trained dogs, it does not mean they would be in their crate during the day unless you say it is needed if I leave the house. If not crate trained I would be okay if they are a very well trained dog :) My home is just me, so dogs will get that one on one attention. I am retired so I can accommodate any feeding/walking schedules that are needed.
“I have had Jamie do pet sitting for my cat and my dog and she always does a fantastic job. She is so thoughtful and sends many adorable pictures while she takes care of my pets. I really appreciate her!”

“Karli has been great! She has been very flexible with scheduling and my dog Stella just loves her. I have a large breed senior dog and she is very understanding and takes special care on walks. I will also be using her to house sit for my dog in the future as well!”

“Audrey did great with our reactive dogs. She was incredibly communicative when we met her and asked us many questions. She did everything we asked and I have complete trust in her with our dogs.”

“Friendly, professional, communicative, and prompt! My pup was happy and I enjoyed the report cards. Will definitely be booking with Julia next time I work late”

“Danielle has been fabulous. She was available last minute when I was in need on a Sunday right before an unexpectedly busy week. She responded within 15mins to my request, made time for a meet and greet same day, and was very communicative. She has been lovely with both dogs, capable of walking both at the same time, giving lots of attention, love, treats, and updates each time. I will happily use her services again. Highly recommend. Thank you for being amazing, Danielle.”

“Jacob was fantastic. He happily accommodated a meet and greet the week before and my pup immediately liked him. He is friendly and clearly loves dogs. He followed all instructions. Took my dog’s anxieties into account and she was happily tired when I came home at the end of long days. Highly recommend!”

About: I have owned many pets throughout my childhood. To say what kind of experience I have would take more than 125 words because each pet has their own personality and style and I adapt to exactly what your pets need and want. If they want cuddles, they get cuddles. If they want space, they get space. I’m home almost all day so they will get all the attention they ever want(or the space they need). I aim to make them happy! Non smoke home with a big spacious living room to play or rest in. I’ve been dog walking/pet sitting since I was a teen and miss doing that. I love hiking and anything outdoorsy so I’m always up for being outside as well. If you have any questions please reach out! I’m a stay at home mom so I’ll be able to easily take your pup out on walks and quick potty breaks. We don’t have a fenced yard but have a shared yard out in the back as well as a park nearby. I walk them right before I would leave to run any errands and usually don’t take long. I follow the instructions provided so that its not stressful for the pup as well as the pet owner. I send updates on how the pup is doing and what we’re up to. We go out on walks a lot. If it’s okay with the owner than I take the pup out on a shorter hike with my daughter. I make sure to grab water too! At home we see what kind of personality the pup has because some aren’t as active and would rather cuddle while others like to play play play.
“Brittany was absolutely fabulous! We needed someone to give our dog some love each afternoon while we were out of the country. Brittany was great at sending pictures and we saw that our dog was very happy! Thank you so much Brittany! We will definitely use you again!”

About: I’ve pet sat for five animals at once, including both dogs and cats! I have experience with animals ranging from puppy to senior! I’ve owned dogs of all different sizes including wiener dogs and newfoundlands! I also have two cats! I’m super flexible and a quick learner who can easily adapt to the needs of your pets! I’m currently working a separate job but it is part time so I have plenty of extra time to spend with animals and have a very flexible schedule! I consider myself to be very likable to animals and have a positive demeanor which animals find comforting! I have experience walking both big and small dogs and caring for cats as well!
“Melisa was kind and professional! My dog is often timid and had refused to go out for a walk when I am gone before but Melissa handled it like a champ, was patient and kind, and was able to coax him out of the house. Thank you Melissa!”
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and understand that every pup has their own personality, energy level, and unique needs. I provide dependable, well-rounded care that supports your dog’s routine, whether that means exercise, companionship, playtime, feeding, or simply maintaining a calm, consistent presence while you’re away. I’m comfortable with high-energy dogs who need engagement and structure, as well as shy, anxious, or senior dogs who benefit from patience and a gentler approach. I pay close attention to behavior, body language, and environment to ensure every interaction is safe, positive, and tailored to your dog. You can expect reliability, clear communication, and thoughtful updates after each visit. I treat every dog with the same care, attentiveness, and respect I would give my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I’m intentional about creating space in my schedule to provide consistent, reliable visits. I value punctuality and clear communication, and I plan my days to ensure pets receive focused attention rather than rushed drop-ins. Whether it’s weekday visits or weekend care, I aim to be dependable and flexible when possible. Safety and trust are my top priorities. In a client’s home, I respect your space, follow care instructions closely, and maintain your pet’s established routine to reduce stress. I pay close attention to body language, secure doors and gates carefully, and ensure food, water, and litter or waste areas are clean and properly maintained. My goal is to create a calm, consistent environment where your pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away.
About: Hello, I go by Rae :) I grew up with dogs, cats, horses & chickens! I am a long time pet-sitter for family, friends, & strangers alike. My own dog, Milo, gets along well with others and would love to be friends with fur babes. Looking forward to planning a visit with you! My best availability is evenings and weekends at this time as I am working regular hours 8-6pm. Typically, I arrange scheduling as needed per each unique booking. About: I have always had many pets in my house. I currently take care of my 3 cats and have 3 dogs at home who i love dearly. I go to school part-time at WWU and work a part-time job. Pet care is the perfect hobby for me because I love animals and spending time with my pets. About: I come from a household full of all kinds of animals, and am experienced in handling all their personalities and quirks. Cats who won't come out from under the bed, the dog that wants to play ball in the middle of the night, the chickens that think 330 am is an appropriate time to call, and all the middle-of-the-night things that livestock get up to, I have been there, done that, and am capable of dealing with whatever comes my way! I have a full-time 8am-5pm day job, and guarantee that I will be present at your house to take care of your little ones from 6pm-7am, and if the distance and commute allows it, will drop by during my lunch hour to let anyone out for a potty break if needed. I care for pets in their own home - I strongly believe that this alleviates a lot of the stress of having someone watch them as they are in their own surroundings, and I do my best to accommodate their routines as much as I am able. Late nights, early mornings, feeding routines, etc, are as close as I can get them to their normal schedules. I will treat your beloveds as my own!

“Taylor did a wonderful job dog sitting my German shepherd. It was like a vacation for him with all of the dogs to play with! I got daily picture updates and she gave him a nail trim. Will 100% be coming back!!”

“Irene was a SUPERB host for my Rita and will absolutely be re-booking in the future! Facilitated a smooth meet and greet, welcomed Rita in, and was in clear and consistent communication.”

“Our dogs always have a great time and Cheryl sends us cute pictures and videos throughout the day. We had to extend our booking by a few hours due to car trouble and thankfully Cheryl was able to keep our pups later and was accommodating!”

“Will watched both my cat and dog at his house while I was out of town for a couple of days. It seems like both the dogs and the cats got along well! I really appreciated the picture updates and Will’s communication & flexibility. Thank you Will!”

“Samantha was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. I had an emergency and she was able to take my 3 Basset Hounds within a couple of hours. They stayed with her for a week. My dogs were welcomed with open arms and treated exactly how they are at home- even getting to sleep in bed with her and snuggle time on the couch. She always responded to my messages within minutes, and sent me several updates, pictures, and videos of my babies every day. She also made sure to ask questions about habits, personalities, medications, feeding, etc. I was so scared to drop them off, but Samantha quickly eased my anxiety, making sure I knew they were okay and adjusting well. I cant recommend her enough. Ellie is hard to win over and within a couple of days I find out that she is following Samantha all over the house. A very impressive feat. She will be my first contact should I need to board my babies again. Thank you, Samantha for making a stressful situation the easiest it could have been, and for taking such good care of my girls.”

“Lynda was great with Murphy. First time left in a new person’s home without his brother. He was happy playing with the other dogs. And got much needed play time. I will have Lynda watch Murphy again.”

“We always have a great experience. We can always trust Hannah with watching Leeloo. She always sends us photos and keeps us updated. We can’t thank her enough! We’ll always try to rebook with her when we can.”

“Lance is great with dogs and his house is like sending them to summer camp! I'm super grateful he was able to watch Poppy and she got along so well with him really quickly (they cuddled a LOT and she slept with him and his dogs in their bed). Definitely will be going back!”

“Felicity clearly loves animals. My dog immediately felt comfortable with Felicity thanks to her calm, caring presence. Felicity is a great communicator. She kindly sent us photos and updates of how our dog was doing during the overnight stay. Thanks, Felicity!”

“Kathryn was an absolute joy to work with. My dogs loved her and had an absolute blast staying with her! She was very communicative and checked in each day to let me know how they were doing.”
