I began by walking dogs at a local humane society, then on to becoming a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. I absolutely love dog sitting and I have the skills to administer medications. Currently I facilitate small enriched dog play groups during the day and in the evening I provide private dog training. I am just as comfortable working with giant breeds as I am with the tiniest. While sitting for your pup I can take them for walks, go to a dog park, and go for hikes. I will send you pictures of your pup daily and keep you updated. While in my home you can rest assured knowing that your dog is being spoiled, loved, and supervised. My yard is fenced in which makes potty breaks easy! All dogs are kept in separate areas while eating and dogs are pups are kept separate if I have to go run an errand.

About: I have 3 dogs and 2 cats at home and I absolutely love taking care and spending time with each of them. I have also done some volunteer work at Spokane Humane Society. I love spending time with animals of all kinds and my goal is to study zoology and work at an animal sanctuary. I am available anytime as of now. I can do mornings,afternoons, and evenings. I am pretty flexible with my schedule. We can come up with a plan that works for both of us! I have a fully fenced in back and front yard and friendly pups to keep your dog company. “Caelyn was so amazing with Cheddar! I had to have a surgery that took me out of commission for quite a few days and I booked Caelyn to walk Cheddar once a day during my initial recovery. Cheddar is usually very timid but warmed up immediately to her and they were best friends by the last day! She always came home tired and out of breath which is exactly what I needed. Caelyn also takes the cutest photos during the walks which always puts a smile on my face when they return to my house. Definitely plan on booking regularly with Caelyn :)”

About: My Mom and I have a Multipoo, we adopted her last year and I just love her! I'm a proud Auntie to Gator (German Shepherd.) I've been a dog-lover since I was a child, I had a toy poodle for 17 years who passed away peacefully back in 2013. I have experience walking, playing, bathing, loving, and administering medication to dogs with special needs or at advanced age. I have experience caring for a well-fed chocolate lab while house sitting for a family friend for up to a week at a time, as well as a one year old mastif who had a special diet and needed his jowls wiped. I have also cared for my sister's rescue boston terrier who has experienced trauma. I'm a gentle person with a calm demeanour who loves to take pups for walks, and can command with a firm tone if needed. I can drop by most evenings and weekends, sometimes do overnight care if available. Currently I am going to grad school and I have a part-time work schedule. I would prefer to only provide care for your animals in your home, I will always do my best to make it a safe environment and situation for all. I'm in grad school, have an internship, and also work in the schools. Looking for a part-time flexible work only. Please contact with at least a week's notice, cannot due last minute gigs! I can't have other animals in my home and would not bring my dog to your place. However I take care of the spaces I am in and treat them with respect.

Not only did she help me urgently but she took the time to ask me appropriate questions and listen to anything I felt was important regarding the dogs behavioral needs and flaws. From being a picky eater, mostly untrained, hyper, suffering from separation anxiety, and needing guidance to play with other dogs Darby was prepared, knowledgeable, and kind handling it all. She sent great updates with pictures included during our stay that helped bring a sense of relief to our first time using extended stay on Rover. We will be seeking out Darby’s services again in the near future for my two adult GSD mixes because I have full confidence and trust in her abilities. Finding good hearted genuine people can be quite difficult and I am so thankful we met!”

“We wish we had found John and his family sooner! Nicki had a great time staying with them. We received daily updates and photos, and she even got to enjoy walks. For longer stays, we prefer that Nicki is the only dog or that the sitter only has one of their own, since she values her space. That said, for shorter stays, being around multiple dogs is totally fine—she gets to rest and recharge when she returns home. During her stay, she saw one other dog briefly, which was no issue. We would absolutely recommend John and plan to use his services again!”
