“Beth was nothing but amazing from start to finish. We were on the island for my wife's work event and she suggested we get a sitter so my son and I could explore the island dog-free for the day. With less than 24 hours notice we found Beth, she responded immediately and confirmed quickly. She asked all of the right questions so you could tell she really cared. My 12 year old son was worried about leaving the dogs, but Beth sent us text updates and posted pics and videos to a Google folder throughout the day. She took them for multiple walks and a hike. They came home happy and tired...they definitely had their best time on the island with Beth. I can't say enough good things, she was fantastic.”
About: I grew up with dogs and have had at least one of my own for the last 20 years. They truly are the best friends! We have a sweet 3-year old rescue poodle mix, Mimi, who does really well with other dogs. We'd love to have your dog or cat stay with us and join in our walks and hikes and cuddles! I have had a reactive/leash reactive dog and as much as I know they can be the sweetest pups when on their own, I can't take on these dogs anymore. It creates too much anxiety for me. I live on a street where there is a constant flow of neighbor dogs both on and off leash and the trails are packed with dogs these days so it's a guarantee we will meet other dogs while we are out and about. I work from home and love to get outside and explore the beautiful trails around Bellingham. When not out sniffing the trails me and your pet will be snuggled up relaxing together. There is a fence area for visiting pets to relieve themselves (it includes about 10 stairs). I love to hike and walk and will make sure your pet gets all the movement they need. I love to snuggle too so when not out and about you can rest assured that your pet is getting lots of love and cuddles.

About: I have been pet sitting for the a couple years, caring for both dogs and cats in a variety of settings. I have experience with multi-dog households, including overnight stays for over a week as well as shorter visits, holiday stays, play dates and walks. My experience includes walks, drop in care, feeding and meal routines, administering medications, avoiding pet allergies and of course playtime! I have dog sat for puppies less than two months old to senior dogs with mobility issues who need extra care, diets and sensitivity. This includes feeding on schedule, providing fresh water, giving any medications as directed, and keeping their space clean and comfortable. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs so they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their owner is away. If you have any specific requests or if your dog has a specific schedule, I’m more than happy to accommodate! I’m a college student but I do have some flexibility and I can try my best to work with you and meet your needs. I am extra free on my school breaks too! I can make any type of adjustments so your dog is happy and comfortable. Do they have a strict schedule for food or walks? I can make sure that that routine remains. I have a medium sized dog at home (about 20 pounds) I make sure to exercise him everyday, even if it’s just for a quick walk near my apartment so exercising your dog is something I’m always happy to do.

About: Hi, I'm Irene :)! I'm an all around animal lover, but especially dogs. I have a husky named Nova, so I have experience caring for and understanding dogs and cats of different personalities (huskies are part cat too, right?). I love spending time with them, playing, going for a walks, hikes, runs and making sure they're happy and safe. Although I enjoy activity daily, I also can handle the needs and care for lower energy/senior dogs. I'm responsible, punctual, and just enjoy being around animals. We needed a sitter of our dog while we went out on a boat tour for several hours necessary because we were visiting from a community a few hours distant. All became very confusing when the scheduled sitter cancelled at the last moment. William calmed us and managed our concerns with grace. AND, our doggie was very pleased and happy.”
