“We give Roxy 5 stars for her dog daycare. Our Basset Hound Stella needed somewhere to go while we had an appointment that was going to take us away from home for most of the day. We reached out to Roxy and set up a meet and greet. Stella was introduced to one of her current dogs in her care. All went well and then Stella met the other dogs spending the day with her. Roxy has a wonderful way about her with dogs. She is wonderful at ensuring that a new potential client is compatible with her existing clients before she will bring you into her care. The process was extremely professional and detailed. We were fortunate that Stella integrated well into her care. Roxy provided photo updates on how Stella was doing and we couldn't be more thrilled to now have a place for Stella to go when we need to be gone for the day. If you are looking for a doggy day care I would highly recommend you reach out to Roxy.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was ten years old and love getting to know them. I will be their calm and confident leader. Safety is my top priority (with fun being close behind) I will tailor each visit to the individual pet depending on their needs and personality. I run with my dog Daisy 4-6 miles a day and would love to adventure with yours! I can’t wait to meet you and your pet! Beginning in the Fall I will be available every Wednesday & Thursday morning for walks/jogs. As of now I am available for boardings anytime. For walks and jogs I am currently available at various times throughout the week. We are diligent about keeping our doors shut for our pets safety. Our dog has a long leash she can use in order to explore our backyard whenever she wants. I am adaptable and happy to follow each owner’s specific requirements for their home and keep the pets safety as my top priority.

About: Hi! I’m Clara! 🐾 I’ve been caring for animals for over 5 years, and loving them for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm surrounded by cats and dogs, and caring for them was always one of my favorite parts of the day. I’ve even had the unique experience of helping rescue an owl! I have a Bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University and spent the past 3 years working at a local elementary school, where I was trusted with the care and well-being of children every day. That experience has taught me to be patient, attentive, responsible, and, most importantly, to meet each individual’s needs. I’ve also been trusted by family, friends, and Rover families to care for their pets in all kinds of situations—from overnight stays and walks to drop-in visits, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. Whether your dog needs a long adventure, some extra attention while you’re away, or simply a calm friend to keep them company, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. Every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, and I believe the best care starts with getting to know them. I am available both weekends and weekdays, I'm a morning person as well, so I don't mind an early morning with a pet. It is imperative that your animals feel safe and comfortable around me, so I will meet them where they're at. I don't force connections, and I will always make sure that they know I am a safe human to be around. Routines and schedules are important, as well as being able to read an animals cues and understand what they need in that moment. I can provide that for your pet.
“William was a joy to work with. He was very tolerant handling our ever changing scheduling beginning and ending his care of our doggie. We needed a sitter of our dog while we went out on a boat tour for several hours necessary because we were visiting from a community a few hours distant. All became very confusing when the scheduled sitter cancelled at the last moment. William calmed us and managed our concerns with grace. AND, our doggie was very pleased and happy.”

My husband and I are always nervous to leave Kahi, but this time we felt more at ease knowing she was in great hands with Leslie. Leslie welcomed Kahi into her home and was knowledgable of what Kahi needed to feel safe and comfortable. She was diligent to provide daily updates and pictures. The pictures showed that Kahi was well-adjusted to Leslie’s home and having a great time playing and bonding with Leslie’s pups. We’ve tried kennels before and our pup came back stressed and underweight — but with Jael, it was the complete opposite. Stella ate well, played, and looked so content when we picked her up. It’s rare to find someone who treats your pet like family, but Jael truly does. We couldn’t recommend her more — 10/10 experience!”
