About: I have been taking care of Dogs, Cats, and small Reptiles for a combined 10 years. I love to snuggle on the couch, go for walks, and chase the local squirrels. I have a full time time job my hours are 5am - 1:30pm Monday - Friday I also have a small gig job that ranges in schedule, will communicate hours when necessary. It's so hard to leave them so long, but it was a great comfort knowing I had Halle visiting regularly to take care of them. Halle made a great impression on us, and more importantly on the cats, at the initial meet and greet. They are super friendly and easy to talk to. My cats are admittedly pretty easy-going, but one of them is usually super shy when strangers come over. Halle has a kind, gentle presence and my shy kitty warmed up to them immediately. It was a huge relief to see Halle interact so sweetly with my fuzz babies before we left. Halle asked questions I hadn't even thought of to make sure they knew exactly how to care for my cats. I can tell Halle is an animal lover and a natural and experienced caretaker. Halle was consistently communicative, sent photos with each visit, and left comments about how my babies were doing. When our automatic feeder got unplugged one day, they made sure to contact me promptly letting me know what happened and how they addressed it (they addressed it perfectly, I might add). They even offered to stop by an extra time to fix it or troubleshoot if needed. When I got home, my cats had clearly missed me, but I could tell that they had been taken care of and loved on. The litter boxes were clean, their water bowls were clean and full, my apartment was as tidy as I had left it, and the cats looked and acted as healthy as ever. Thanks, Halle! About: I’ve had or taken care of pets my entire life. I will listen to you and what your pet’s needs are and will ensure that they get the best care. Being in the position of needing pet care myself at times, I know how important it is to be confident in your sitter. I currently work from home 3 days a week. On the days that I go into work I will come home halfway through the day to check on your pets that I’m watching. Weekends are usually spent taking the dogs for daily outings. I can provide the importance of a partially fenced in yard. I am always willing to take your dog out on a leash if there is a threat of them running off. I love taking my pups out back on the acreage to run around. My 5-year old golden retriever and 13-year old basset hound will be able to accompany your dog in the yard :)
“I am an overprotective veterinary professional/Karen here... so I'm shocked that I found someone I'm so confident saying this about, but... Jennifer could NOT be a better, safer, more reliable, more loving, more careful and cautious pet sitter. My best friend and I were in Olympia for a few days recently for an event, and I needed somewhere for my three beautiful black crazies to be for that day. I'd spoken with some other pet sitters, but wasn't impressed, and I was getting more and more stressed out about it. Luckily, at the 13th hour, someone my daughter works with recommended Jennifer. As soon as we walked into her home, I knew I'd found my "person". Her entire house is set up to be a doggie Disneyland. Her yard is ENORMOUS, fully enclosed, and has natural ground. (Which is great, because I always worry about ACL injuries when dogs are running on concrete or slippery grass.) Within the first 10 minutes of being there, my autistic adult dog relieved herself completely, which she hadn't done throughout the prior three days we were traveling. And then... the most amazing thing of all... she started ZOOMING around the yard! I have had her for five years, and had never seen her like that before. She was like a bullet, flying through the air, unstoppable in her joy and speed. Her puppy brothers struggled to keep up with her, but couldn't. It was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen. I felt so, so comfortable leaving my three babies with her. I'd never felt that comfortable with anyone. Beyond that, Jennifer was friendly and incredibly flexible. It's clear she really loves dogs. I told her that if I ever make the 1,000-plus mile trip again, it would be so that my dogs could visit her, and NOT so that I could see my daughter. Joking...? I think not. Thank you, Jennifer! About: I have always lived with and cared for cats and dogs my whole life, but I have also have several positions over the past 15 years caring for various other animals. My first professional animal caregiving experience was at Pioneer Park Nature Center in Lincoln, NE. There, I provided enrichment and care to a wild variety of animals, including owls, hawks, vultures, snakes, turtles, and salamanders. I have also lived on farms where I cared for dogs, rabbits, goats, sheep, ducks, and chickens. In California, I volunteered for 2 years at a wildlife hospital where I cared mainly for songbirds. There, I learned how to administer medication and provide foster care for baby squirrels and raccoons. The care of animals has always been central to my personal, professional, and even my academic life. I love all animals, but I am by far a cat person. I grew up with five cats and two dogs. Currently, I have a sweet old man cat named Little One. I have a lot of availability because I work seasonal, conducting bird surveys for a non-profit in Idaho in the spring and summer. I am happy to do evening walks, overnights, holidays, and weekends. I am a responsible, respectful adult who is happy to care for your pet at your home, as my living situation is not conducive to boarding animals.

About: I have worked with both puppies and senior dogs, i have 2 poochon puppies that are 1 year old. I am currently going to school to be a vet technician and I volunteer at the animal shelter in the cat and dog rooms. I have experience handling all different types and sizes of dogs. Im a college student and currently working part-time in the late afternoons. So I have plenty of time to walk, play and give potty breaks! I have a fenced yard suitable for small to medium dogs. I have a large room that I can close off that has tile flooring and access to the backyard and also have pens if dogs need to be separated.

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and have over 12 years of experience living on a farm, caring for pigs, cows, chickens, dogs, and cats. While I love all animals, dogs and cats have always held a special place in my heart. Friends and family know me as someone animals naturally gravitate toward. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and reserved, or a senior who needs extra patience and gentle care, I take the time to earn their trust and make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'm dependable, responsible, and understand how important it is to know your pet is in caring hands while you're away. I'll follow your routines, provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection, and I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members and caring for them as if they were my own! I currently have a flexible schedule and spend my time between Olympia and Mukilteo. I generally work remotely, so I am available to house sit during the week or a mid day walk or check in on a break! My aim will always be to keep to your fur baby's schedule regarding walks, potty breaks and feeding. I'll provide plenty of cuddles and love when they are missing you.
About: I have trained my own heeler puppy since she was 10 weeks old. As well as helped raise another cattle dog until he was 8yo and have cared for and loved many different animals over the years I'm working part time and make up my own schedule. So I will usually have plenty of time for giving animals lots of attention and love. I have my own very sweet 2yo heeler that has been friendly with all dogs. And a sizeable backyard for supervised playtime. I value patience and calmness making the most out of positive reinforcement to promote good behavior.

Finn has anxious behaviors, so she asked many questions to make sure his stay was comfortable when he stayed. When Finn had his overnight, she sent multiple updates with pictures.
