“We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kevin and his partner, Kandice. Our French Bulldog, Bobo, is our child, and this was the first time we had left him since he suffered an IVDD flare earlier this year. Needless to say, we were incredibly nervous. Because of his recent health issues, he has a number of restrictions and special considerations to help prevent another IVDD flare, and Kevin and Kandice were so attentive and conscientious about following all of his care instructions. They immediately put us at ease and kept us updated throughout our trip with messages and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. Most importantly, it was obvious that Bobo wasn’t just being watched—he was genuinely cared for and loved. When we picked him up, he was happy, comfortable, and clearly had been very well cared for. As pet parents, that’s all you can hope for when leaving your dog with someone else. Kevin and Kandice are trustworthy, compassionate, and truly exceptional. Karen reported this change in full to us, kept her clearly practiced and experienced eye on the situation, and the result was that Sofia ended up having a great time playing "catch me" with the others. About: I’ve been in a dog household since I was in middle school, and I’ve been the caretaker of as many as 5 dogs at a time. I am home from the summer from university and currently have an open schedule with many opportunities for dog care. I have availability 7 days a week with weekdays preferred. I love keeping pets company and spending time with them to make sure they can get their energy out. I am capable of taking multiple dogs at a time, but also can take out one at a time if necessary. I have good etiquette regarding doors and know how to watch so sneaky dogs don’t escape.

Later on in my life, my experience expanded significantly through raising and caring for Golden Retrievers. Growing up around breeding and long-term dog care taught me responsibility, consistency, and how much attention animals need at different stages of life. I’ve been involved in raising dogs from newborns to adulthood, and many of the dogs I’ve helped raise have gone on to become unforgettable adventure companions for their families. Over the past fifteen years, I’ve gained extensive experience working with animals through long-term, hands-on care. My background as a Golden Retriever breeder has given me perspective on how different animals can be, even within the same breed. Every animal has unique preferences, behaviors, and ways of communicating, and learning to recognize those differences has been a major part of my experience. I’m comfortable managing multiple animals at once and handling a range of needs without becoming overwhelmed. I’m most accustomed to larger dogs, but my experience raising puppies has given me the delicacy and awareness needed to care for smaller animals as well. I’m especially familiar with puppies under six months old, including their unpredictable behavior and the extra attention they require. I’ve also worked with dogs that can be semi-reactive in certain situations. While I’m not willing to take on dogs that are broadly aggressive, I retain the right to assess the dog before accepting. I’m most comfortable with working with dogs that are borderline reactive but not reactive-aggressive. I can recognize signs of stress or reactivity, and can manage dogs that are generally well-functioning but may need thoughtful handling in specific situations. I currently have a flexible schedule and am available for drop-ins and walks throughout the day, generally between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, unless I’m staying at a client’s home for house sitting. Animal care already shapes my daily routine, and I’m used to structuring my day around feeding schedules, exercise, outdoor exposure, and rest. I’m comfortable juggling different routines and planning time and resources around an animal’s specific needs. I’m very conscientious about safety and environmental risks. I pay close attention to doors, gates, toxic plants, household hazards, interactions with unfamiliar animals, and changes in an animal’s behavior. I rely on observation and experience to distinguish between normal behavior and something that may need attention. If something seems off, I communicate clearly and directly, providing context and details without being alarmist. I also enjoy sharing updates and photos so owners feel informed and connected while they’re away. I have experience filming and taking photos of animals especially dogs and cats that don’t sit still - so you’re bound to get a good photo or two of them.

About: I take care of our three dog, i make sure they have water and they are walked and they are clean, i also watched a puppy for a friend for a week and a half I love hanging out with any animal, they are so cute and cuddly, i couldn't imagine my life without any animals, they are a part of me I like to watch at the clients home, but if they need the dog out for the day i can take them to a dog park or if they don't get along with other dogs we can go to a park somewhere away
About: I’ve owned dogs and cats my whole life and have also worked in a kennel, and done pet sitting many times, I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds, and will make sure your pets get the best care possible! I am currently a stay at home mom, but I will hopefully have time to visit your pets during the day, or take them on walks. I have provided drop-in visits and dog walking before, and always try to give your pet the best care possible, and try to follow your instructions carefully.
About: I've been around animals most of my life and have spent lots of time taking care of them whether they be my own, friends, or relatives I generally don't have anything going on most days so I'm usually available. Tuesdays and Thursdays are busy but if it's after 5pm I can stop by if needed. If they are low energy I usually stay inside with them, take them out when needed, make sure they have water, fed at the right time, etc. If they're high energy then I take them for a walk, play in a fenced yard, nearby dog park, or if there is a good place inside the house to do so then maybe there as well. It all comes down to what the pets need at what time.
